The Young Man One

The Young Man One
Four in the Car

Livia has no idea what a trip to her grandmother's house will be able to enjoy as usual. Fortunately, there was still Nea who came with them so the atmosphere was not really awkward.

"I—ini is just a trip to go to grandma's house, but you guys actually deliver together. I'm not feeling good about you all."

"No need to feel sad. You'll be a part of us too" Nea said.

Livia still doesn't feel good, but what can she do after she's like now? Kenzi seemed unhappy with their promise, although it could still be said that he fulfilled his promise for sightseeing. Kelvan himself seemed unhappy, too, because he knew that the man wanted them to spend time traveling in person.

"I hope everything will be fine" muttered Livia.

"Did your grandmother live alone in the village?" nea asked, instantly breaking the awkwardness between the four of them.

"really. I wish my grandmother could stay with me, but she was stubborn to stay in the village. The reason, because living in the city is much more difficult."

"Ah, I understand your point. Most parents find it difficult to adapt to the new environment. It is only natural that they choose to live in a more comfortable place. So, you're going to visit him every weekend?"

"Mranny's condition is not very good. I came to make sure it was."

"So it seems ...."

Nea who was sitting in front of it turned to her father, turning to Kenzi back there. He felt that there was some awkwardness between them, it was fitting that everything was mostly calm. If it continues, will not the trip be fun?

"Dad, stop in front there for a second."

"What's wrong?" ask Kelvan. "You don't think you're peeing in people's paddies, do you?"

Not without reason Kelvan said so, because the road they were passing was dominated by rice fields.

"Don't say no, Dad. Just stop right there."

"I should have sat in the back. Miss Livia can move ahead now."

"Truly, there's no need to do that."

"I want Miss Livia to sit next to Dad. We can't enjoy the trip with an awkward atmosphere, can we? The two men who were in the car like did not find anything interesting to talk about. They're really characters that are really hard to understand."

Livia laughed. Didn't wait long to see him sitting in the front seat. A little shy, Livia glanced at Kelvan who was driving the car back. The man smiled at him.

Nea looked at the smile of the father, amused herself. After which, he looked towards Kenzi who was no longer staring out the window. Kenzi seemed unhappy with his decision to move places, something he could not yet understand.

"Hey," said Nea, poking Kenzi. "Your face looks really bad right now. What makes you so angry?"

Kenzi took his eyes off the two people talking before him. "It's none of your business."

Nea did not give up, then poked Kenzi back, making the boy look at her angrily. "You don't look creepy even if your eyebrows are fused together once."

"Why bother me? Just enjoy the view outside your window."

"But the view beside me is much more interesting." Nea smiled.

Kenzi put on a sour face. "You must have lost your mind." He looked out the window again.

Nea herself chuckled, seeing the reaction that she thought was so funny. He would stop teasing Kenzi for a while and focus on their journey.
