Kelvan gave her dirty clothes after changing. She wondered where Livia could get men's clothing from. But hesitating, because they do not want to make Livia feel uncomfortable with the question later, especially they do not know each other well.
"The weather is very good and I think it won't take long to wait for your clothes to dry. Then, I'll go wash it now."
"Livia."
Livia pounded, remembering the first time Kelvan called her by name alone as if there was no barrier between them.
"Y—ya?"
"Can I stay in this room? I'd like to take a look around for a minute."
"T—of course, although nothing special from my room."
While Livia was doing the laundry, Kelvan began to look around the room. The room was quite neat and he could also smell the distinctive scent of a Livia. It is surprising that there is no dust there. He heard that Livia came home every weekend, maybe the woman took the time to clean the room when she came home.
The door opened, making Kelvan turn his head. He immediately saluted, though clumsy by the shorts he wore. Appearing like now in front of her grandmother Livia, she felt disrespectful.
"Are you close to my granddaughter?"
"Ah, yes ...."
"Near what?"
"That's ...."
Kelvan recalls Livia saying that her grandmother did not like her man. If he explained their relationship, would there be any problems?
"Basic. Livia must have been inciting you not to say anything to me, right? He did, because he never wanted to be open about relationships."
"Let me introduce myself. I'm Kelvan, the father of a daughter named Nea who spoke with you outside."
"She's your daughter?"
"really. Livia was Nea's private tutor before."
"I'm hoping for your blessing on our relationship, because I've fallen in love with your granddaughter. Although, I am a one-child widower."
The grandmother lowered her tense shoulders. He never imagined that Livia would be close to a widower. He thought Kelvan was too bold to say that.
"It was very firm and also ... honest," said the grandmother. "What about Nea's mother?"
"Nea was abandoned by her mother shortly after birth."
"Did Nea know about your relationship?"
"It has. Nea didn't mind it, because Livia was a very pleasant person."
"What about yourself?"
Kelvan raised his head, confused by the grandmother's question. He understood after digesting it well. "Are you doubting about my life after being abandoned? Nea doesn't allow me to be close to someone and I love her more than anything in the world. I kept that promise until I finally met Livia."
"Then you broke a promise with your own daughter?"
Kelvan confirmed that his heart was intolerable when he met Livia. However, all have found their way with Nea who blesses their relationship.
"I wouldn't have continued our relationship if Nea didn't like it."
"What if I don't approve of your relationship either? Are you leaving Livia?"
Kelvan came to the most difficult question of his life. She sounded so easy to the relationship she was in with Livia, sounding like someone who was not willing to sacrifice.
Nope. He does not want to sacrifice, but he does not sacrifice what or who is above his feelings. Therefore, he was looking for the best way for their relationship.
"All I need is Nea and your feelings for our relationship so I can make the woman I love happy."
