The Young Man One

The Young Man One
Detachable Eel

Kenzi tried to escape. Unfortunately, Livia was eager to punish the boy. Not only once Livia was troubled by the behavior of her students, but only in Kenzi alone the frustration could not be withheld anymore.

"You shouldn't be like this to your own students."

"If you hadn't done something like this, I wouldn't have done it either."

"You work too hard, but my parents won't know either."

Livia paused the move, letting go of her jewel unreservedly. "For two weeks there has been no progress. I'm just dragging you out here like a loose eel."

Kenzi rubbed his ears. He had the same angry expression now. "I'm not an eel!"

Livia let out a long sigh, turning her gaze in the other direction. He didn't want to see that shitty kid right now. For a long time he had wanted to hand Kenzi over to another private teacher, but he held back.

"Mom Livia, did you see that newly opened ice cream parlor? They put up an ad buy one free one."

Livia looked in the direction she was pointing. He had no taste for ice cream, but had not had time to refuse, Kenzi had already pulled it first.

Livia stopped their steps when she almost got there. He said, "There are a lot of people, probably because of the new place and also the ad. Let me get in line, you can wait."

Kenzi pulled Livia's hand. "You are wearing high shoes now and standing for too long will only make your feet ache. Let me queue up, you can wait for me here. Remember, don't leave me alone, got it?"

Livia smiled. "alright. I should be the one to worry about that, 'cause you're a loose eel."

Kenzi went in line, while Livia waited in one place. He sat by the side of the road with the rest of them there, because the place where the ice cream seller is not big.

"Mom Livia?"

Livia looked up, finding Nea standing in front of her. He got up and they hugged each other.

"What are you doing here?" ask Nea.

"Oh, I want to buy ice cream. But ... It looks like this place is very crowded and it will take too long to get it. I really want to try it."

"Did Nea come alone?"

Nea shook her head. "I came with you, because we just came home after we went to commemorate your death."

Livia fell silent, not knowing what to say. There was also a voice calling out his name, revealing Kenzi's figure who broke through the crowd and managed to get two ice creams for them.

Livia gave her ice cream to Nea. "This is for you."

Kenzi frowned. "What are you doing? Why give that ice cream to someone else?"

"Shut up, Kenzi. He was my protege before you. You are still teenagers and things like eating ice cream in a new place should not be missed. I can still buy it later when it's not crowded anymore."

"Thank you, Miss Livia."

"Then we go first" said Livia.

"Wait a minute! As a sign of gratitude, how about I drop you off?"

Kenzi. "It won't be enough to pay for the long ice cream queue."

Livia pinched Kenzi with anxiety. "Your words will make others uncomfortable."

Nea smiled, then said, "I'll tell dad first."

"But Nea ...." Livia had to keep her words, because Nea was gone, without even listening to anything else from her.
