The Young Man One

The Young Man One
Warmth in the Kitchen

Livia opened her eyes slowly, in a semi-conscious state of spinning the brain that had fallen asleep. Whether the dream or not, he was sure that he had been in the car before.

He got up, pulled the curtain until the sunlight was so glare. The atmosphere he felt now was very different from the afternoon when he and Kelvan went home after their date. Was yesterday a dream? so doubtful about his memory.

Livia grabs the bag that bears witness to her dream. He remembered that yesterday went with the bag, plus never kept the phone in the bag if it was at home. There he contacted Kelvan who was believed to have left for the company.

However, instead he heard the ringing of a cell phone that was on the other nightstand. Kelvan doesn't carry a cell phone. Turning from his dream, he finished by coming out of the room.

Livia was shocked when she almost touched the kitchen area. He saw Kelvan was busy cooking. It turned out that her assumption was wrong that her husband was gone.

"Catelvan?"

Kelvan glanced at the source of the sound. He stopped his work for a moment to smile and see how the wife came to him. "Away awake?"

"You're not going to work?"

"Yes. I'll go later."

"By the way," Livia seemed hesitant in her expression, "we did something important yesterday?"

Kelvan stopped completely. There was disappointment in the chest. He looked at Livia who looked serious about his words. The woman forgot their historic first date, how could it be?

"You forgot about it?"

Livia was stunned to find Kelvan as if she was upset about something, then stammeredly she said, "A—I think that we went on a date yesterday. Last I remember, ki—we were in the car and I fell asleep. When I opened my eyes again, I was already in the room and .. saw you cooking in the kitchen."

Kelvan scratched his temple. He did not know how to express himself, then came out of the area that limited them and approached Livia.

"If you completely forget about it, then I will be very disappointed. Your memory is right. I suggest that you just rest during the trip. At first, I wanted to wake you up when I got to the company, but not because I saw you looking tired."

Livia widens her eyes. He was like being reminded of the time they went through yesterday, it was not a dream.

"So, you're taking me to my room?"

"true."

Livia looked really bad on her face afterwards. "I can't speak. You didn't wake me."

Looking at the ugly mood of his wife, Kelvan immediately said, "Ma—maaf, for not waking you up."

"You're so mean."

Kelvan held both of Livia's shoulders. He turned worried, because his wife looked like she wanted to cry. "Li—livia, don't cry." He who is confused how to explain, then gives a hug. "I didn't know you'd be so disappointed just because I didn't wake you up."

Livia encourages her husband so they can see each other. "Just said?"

"Livia ... How should I calm you down?"

"You shouldn't carry me, because I'm so heavy, Kelvan ...." Livia said, still with her lips curled down.

The worried Kelvan exhaled a short breath. He thought there would be a big problem between them, in fact it was not that bad. From the words heard earlier, he could conclude that Livia was only worried about weight.

"Aren't you serious?"

"I am serious about my words. Even if you are heavy, I will not complain. It could also be because of my energy as a man who does not exist. But both don't happen, do they? Everything's fine and you don't make my hand sprain when I'm holding you."

Livia rubbed her eyes. "I look like a little kid now."

Kelvan touched both of Livia's cheeks, pinching her with anxiety. "Sometimes you can be so dizzying and funny. I'm kind of riding on one thrilling ride, making me nervous about what's going to happen up ahead."

Livia touched Kelvan's wrist, weighed him there to get loose, no longer pinched his cheek, then changed into clasping hands. "Stay, I didn't see you working for the company" he said, still a trace of regret on his face.

"That's better."

"better? Why that?" Livia's amazed.

"Because I thought if you were around me, then I wouldn't be able to concentrate."

Livia squinted. "I can't make my husband lose concentration, because Nea and I still need to eat."

Reminded by her own words, Livia looked around. "I haven't seen Nea since, but she has a college schedule right now. I'm going upstairs to wake her up."

"Nea is not in the room. He and his friends go on vacation." Kelvan said, not letting their hands loose when Livia was about to move.

"Oh, Nea talked about it. But not next week, but this week?"

"Yes. This Saturday and Sunday. So, we have both privacy time."

"S—like?"

"Like?" Kelvan half laughed as he said, "You still ask? Should I show you the answer so you understand?" At this moment, he had already embraced Livia's waist.

Livia pushed their bodies away, but she was amused as Kelvan shifted her hands up the waist. The man tickled and made him try to avoid.

Unknowingly a pleasant quarrel the newlyweds dragged them into the cooking area. Livia finds a dead end so she can only hold on to the kitchen table to overcome their distance.

Kelvan touched both of Livia's hands, as it made their eyes look parallel. "There are serious things we have to talk about" he said.
