"Don, I'm going home." I woke up Doni who was asleep from exhaustion.
"I'm so sleepy, Ar." Doni hugged her roll tightly.
"Yes already. I'm going home by myself, right?"
I can't bear to force Doni to take me. Let me go home with an online motorcycle.
Doni opened his eyes. Then get up and go to the bathroom.
After coming out of the bathroom, Doni changed clothes. I just noticed it.
"Come, he said he wanted to go home" asked Doni.
I also followed Doni.
Along the way, Doni didn't speak a word. Maybe he's still sleepy. I feel guilty.
"You're still sleepy, Don?"
Doni just glanced at me.
"I'm sorry, I'm troubling you."
Doni ruffled my hair. Still silent without a word. Even to the front of my alley.
"Thank you, Don." Doni nodded still without a sound.
I don't want to fuss about it. I'm so tired.
I got out of the car and walked towards my house, through a not-so-big alley.
Arriving in front of the house, I saw the porch lights were already on. Thank goodness Arka was able to light her own lights.
I myself even forgot that my husband was still relying on his wheelchair.
The door of the house was left open. I saw Arka's mas waiting for me in the living room.
"You haven't slept yet, Mommy?" my many.
Mas Arka just shook his head slowly.
"Eat already?" ask again. He's nodding.
I put my bag on the table, and brought Arka's mas to the room.
"Breaked it?"
I helped Arka's mas move to bed. We slept separately. I slept in my own room, while the Arka mas was in my parents' former room.
Arka looked at me.
"What's wrong?" my many.
He just shook his head, then closed his eyes.
I actually feel so sorry for him. But I can't expect much from him.
I walked into my room after locking the door. I put down my body that was very tired.
It didn't take long for me to fall asleep.
In the middle of the night, I woke up because I heard a prank. I opened my eyes wide.
Mas Arka with his wheelchair was already next to my bed.
"What's up, Mom?" I got out of my sleep.
Arka wiped her tears. I saw a clock on the wall of my room. It's still one o'clock at night.
"Why come here? It's still night. Sleep again, huh?"
Mas Arka shook his head.
"Would you sleep here?"
Arka was silent. Then I helped her move into my cramped bed.
Then I went up and went to sleep. My eyes are still very sleepy. I slept behind her while hugging the bolster.
I felt Arka's hand holding me from behind. I gasp. And opened my eyes again.
Arka's embrace is getting tighter. I can feel it. It seems like his energy is recovering.
"Mas. You haven't slept?"
Mas Arka who could not answer, increasingly tightened his embrace in response.
I turned my body. She smiles.
"Why?"
Arka was silent, but her eyes were looking at me sharply.
"I'm still sleepy, Mom."
I fell asleep again in my husband's arms.
As he fell asleep, I did not hear the alarm. It was even the Arka mas who tried to wake me up by shaking my arm.
"Md. What time is it?" I opened my eyes a little, and was stunned to see the clock showing at six in the morning.
Pimply. I can be bad luck. I have so much to do before I go to work.
I got up and went to the bathroom. Shower as soon as I have to prepare a meal for Arka's mas during my stay.
Not to mention bathing Arka mas which takes quite a long time. Because I have to wait for BAB as well.
Out of the bathroom, I saw that Arka was sitting on her wheelchair. He also brought a change of clothes and a towel.
"Awhile, take a shower. I'll put on some clothes first." I who was just wearing a towel ran to my room.
I wear shorts and a t-shirt first. For going to bathe Arka and cook in the kitchen.
When I came out of my room, I didn't see Arka's mas in his place.
"Mas! Arka's Mas!" I called and looked for him.
Mas Arka signaled to me by knocking on the bathroom door with a dipper.
"Mas! You're in there?" manyworry. What if he falls?
"Open the door, Mom!"
Mas Arka opened the door with one hand. He was standing on the bathroom wall.
"What are you? What about falling?"
I helped her sit on the plastic chair I had provided for her to take a shower. Then I took out the wheelchair.
"Don't be reckless, Mas. You can't be alone."
I just kept nagging him while bathing him. I rubbed his whole body. And I rinse it clean.
"Byeah, done." I dried his body with a towel, and wiped it with his arms around his wheelchair.
After sitting in his wheelchair, I started to put on clothes. That's how my routine is to bathe my husband.
"I want to cook first. You wanna wait here?" mas Arka nodded.
Then I started making my husband food. I also prepared for lunch until night.
Because I'm definitely going home tonight. Doni always took me to his apartment first.
I saw the clock. It's past seven o'clock. While waiting for my cooking to cook, I entered my room.
I changed my clothes and polished my face. I don't really like to dress up, so it doesn't take long.
I went back and forth to the kitchen while preparing my bag. Back to the kitchen to prepare food.
Arka just looked at me. Yeah, what could he do if he didn't just look.
"Mas, we're having breakfast. How was it?" I brought him food. While I eat, I also feed it.
Arka looked at me. Then pat her lap.
"Would you like to eat by yourself?" my many.
Arka nodded. I hesitated to give it. How about spilling? It's not the food I'm worried about, but it'll add to my work later.
I watched Arka eat. Slowly he put food in his mouth.
Then chew it slowly too. My tears came to see it.
I thought, Arka must have learned from yesterday when I lived.
I feel so guilty. When my husband had trouble eating, I stayed.
He is faithful waiting for me at home, I am with another man.
Ah, nevermind. I don't want to think about it. Let it all go like this. After all, Arka didn't see it.
I'm still going home. I'm still thinking about her eating, her bathing and her BAB.
I finished first. While the food of the Arka mas is still half.
"Recycle the food, Mas. I'm ready first."
I went back to my room and made my appearance.
I just got out of the room again.
"Mas!" I was surprised by the sight in front of me. Mas Arka can already stand and walk by resting on a chair.
"Can you stand up, Mum?"
Mas Arka looked at me and nodded slowly. Spontaneously I ran to hug her.
