H-4 Eid....
There are still two days left to open the mother's shop before it is closed temporarily because it will be ahead of eid al-Fitr and will reopen a week after eid al-Fitr.
Shanum compiled the boxes containing today's order. Approaching the eid al-Fitr shop the mother has not received the delivery order, the order will be accepted if the buyer is willing to take his order directly to the mother's shop.
Shanum deliberately made new provisions, given the limited time and effort they have plus traffic that began to be dense because the flow of homecoming makes delivery orders diclose early.
"Everything's done, yeah, what time does he say he'll be taken, In?" shanum asked Indri who was still busy preparing notes and paid receipts. Payment has been made via transfer to the account of the owner, Shanum.
"Hour four, Tea. He said they had just come out of the Chileunyi toll road. So the possibility of coming here about two more times" explained Indri who received news from the Pameungpeuk origin booker that they would be a little late to take his order.
"Well, why Bandung? not the Pameungpeuk?" shanum asked astonished, he was still anteung checking orders one by one, making sure everything was prepared according to the order. Packaging was not separated from Shanum's attention. He does not want customers to be disappointed, because the appearance of the packaging is certainly a determinant of the first impression that will be felt by customers.
"Yes their tea from Bandung and want to go to Pameungpeuk so all orders are taken" Indri again answered the question according to the information he received from the customer.
"Teteh, I've inputted to the group of grand reunion participants yes" Indri switched their conversation after finishing putting the stamp of Warung Nasi Ibu By SNA in the receipt to be submitted to the booker.
"Yes, when?" shanum asked indifferently.
"Must, tuuh..." Indri showed his screen towards Shanum.
Today Shanum and Indri look more relaxed, they sit in babancong while waiting for meandering adzan ashar. The stall has not been opened, according to the schedule that has been determined that the mother's stall will be opened at exactly four in the afternoon.
Mother assisted ceu imas and bi is still busy cooking in the kitchen. Thirty servings of food on their order that will break at the mother's stall today after previously making reservations have already begun to be prepared.
"Mom, Neng Zahra's tea is married gening (real)?" Bi Isah started a conversation about Shanum. The people in the village called Bu Hana as Mother because they knew that Bu Hana was a Teacher, even before opening this rice stall Bu Hana also often helped teach at the early madrasah run by his brother Pak Imran.
Ms. Hana who was stirring the mustopa potato fried sauce on the cauldron with fire was momentarily stopping her activity. He looked towards Bi Isah who was also a herd wrapping crushed tofu and mixed with some other ingredients to be squeezed using banana leaf wrapping.
"Bi Isah knows from whom?" asked Bu Hana who felt that she had never talked about her eldest daughter with anyone. In the village, only the immediate family knows that Shanum is married and her husband is dead.
"From Neng Zahra, at that time there was a greeting neng zahra to aunt. Aunty said and I think the guy likes neng zahra, but neng zahra said he was married. He said with the Jakarta guys? her in-laws said they would come later" explained Bi Isah relaying the information she received from Shanum to Bu Hana.
Ms. Hana just smiled, her eldest daughter was still covering up her identity. It has been Bu Hana talking heart to heart with her eldest daughter so she tries to start opening her heart again. But Shanum still looks reluctant to start more relationships with the opposite sex. Ms. Hana was not willing to force her daughter, she understood how Shanum's character was. Ms. Hana just prayed that someday a man would come who loves his daughter and accepts her for who she is.
"Absolutely who is Bi who nitip greeting my daughter?" asked Bu Hana curiously.
"That's Ma'am, Pa Kades' sister next door. He often serves here ko who use the big bike. He will be a dream young man in the village, in addition to handsome he is also a rich young man who already has a lot of business at a young age.
"Ouh, tuh bi ka neng imaskeun, geura nikah deui neng da anom keneh (tuh bi to neng Imasin, quickly marry again neng kan young)" Ms. Hana turned the discussion about her eldest daughter. He avoided the story of Shanum being the subject of their conversation.
"Ah mother mah, abdi mah teu wararantun teuing Bu (Ah Mother mah, I am mah ga dare, Mom)" replied Ceu Imas while shuddering moving his shoulder.
"Why?" tanya Bu Hana ended the oddity because he saw the action of Ceu Imas.
"She's still a bachelor (single young man) Ma'am, handsome, rich again who wants to marry me a widow, already have two children, poor, not beautiful anymore. From where does he try he can glance at me?" said ceu imas outlines all its shortcomings while interspersed with laughter.
"Ah you like to be so humble. You are beautiful, young too, lucky guy who married you because he got a two-child bonus. If your soul mate certainly will not be exchanged" replied Bu Hana relaxed.
"Hahaha.di aminin deh Bu, the most serious amen if the word children today mah" replied ceu imas with a thunderous laughter filled the kitchen of the mother because she was flattered by the praise of Bu Hana.
Recalling the statement of Bu Hana who said that the man who married her was lucky because he got a bonus of two children so he laughed himself.
"Why nyi?" tanya bi is a wonder who heard Hana laughs herself after the departure of Ms. Hana who said goodbye because she will follow the open together as well as the reunion of her PGA friends.
"That's bi, Ms. Hana said that the man who will marry me is lucky because he will get a bonus of two children. So hoyong seuri terrace (so keep laughing), hahaha.." he replied while laughing again.
Bi Isah only shook his head to see the behavior of the young widow of two children. Ceu Imas was indeed young, even younger than Shanum because he married at a relatively young age to get married. At the age of twenty-five, she now has two small children.
The time showed at four in the afternoon, all were ready in their respective positions. Shanum sat behind a tall table as a cashier. Indri is preparing to welcome the arrival of the visitors of the mother's stall who had booked yesterday. Ceu Imas looks to be preparing an order to be taken by online buyers who have first transferred their money. While Bi Isah is still cleaning up in her own kitchen because Ms. Hana has gone to her reunion place escorted by Mr. Imran.
When the stall was opened by Indri, it appeared that some people had come and parked their motorized vehicles in the rest of the yard bordering the road. They immediately entered the stall and were greeted by Indri and directed in advance to confirm and pay to the cashier table.
Shanum serves every visitor who comes in friendly, a smile always Shanum display when customers approach him. Likewise with Indri he welcomed the visitors of the stall not only with a smile but with words of welcome that made the visitors feel comfortable and highly respected.
"Assalamu'alaikum, welcome to Mother's shop. Please akang or teteh to the cashier table to confirm the order and make the payment process yes" said Indri with a friendly and cheerful welcome also with smiles and nods by the visitors. They also headed to the cashier table according to Indri's direction in an orderly manner because it began to look queue.
Shanum served them one by one, he did not even focus on who he was facing. Although his gaze was fixed on the laptop screen in front of him but Shanum still carved a smile on his lips. Without Shanum noticing the pair of eyes between the queues were staring at him in full search.
"Hey, you're Shanum, right?" asked the man when he had faced Shanum.
Shanum who heard someone calling his name looked up towards the source of the voice. In front of him stood a man with a high stature and strapping using a shirt made of batik was staring at him full of search.
"I.iya, I'm Shanum. Sorry who is it?" shanum asked who also kept looking at that person's face, he completely forgot who the person before him was.
"You forgot, I'm Andi, Andiana Hakim. We went to school in Al-Kausar Middle School, remember?" andi asked by showing her index finger right in front of Shanum's face.
Shanum rolled his eyes thinking, remembering the name mentioned by the man before him.
"I'm Andi, the courier of Akhtar's love letter to you" Andi recalled Shanum.
Heard that name Shanum felt something was stomping his heart.
"Ow.....Andi, O Allah Andi pangling once sorry - sorry my brain loadingnya long" shanum said the sabil chuckled because he just remembered that person was a close friend of Akhtar who used to be the letter from Akhtar to him.
"You're Akhtar's name is called mah immediately remember" Andi joked as he snatched, he did not accept Shanum forgot about it and needed to be reminded to remember it again.
"Hehe.sorry. Have reservations, huh? please sit down, at what table?" shanum asked to switch the conversation.
"Family?" shanum asked kindly.
"Yes, it's my wife and children and there are my parents" Andi replied, still pointing to the table. Shanum nodded towards them as they were looking at Shanum and Andi's interaction.
"Okay, I'll meet there later" Shanum said as he handed over a note to be paid Andi.
Andi handed over hundreds of five bills to Shanum and received his change.
"I wait there yes" Andi reminded Shanum who will get acquainted with his family, he also stepped towards the table that has been occupied by all members of his family as many as ten people according to the capacity of the table.
Shanum resumed his service, allowing all visitors who had confirmed the order and paid to sit at the designated table and be notified when the reservation was received.
"Teh, the order from Pameungpeuk was about to be taken" Indri told Shanum half-screaming due to the state of the stall that was starting to rame. Shanum stopped his activities. Guests whose reservations have filled the table according to their orders only one table is still empty because the person who ordered has not arrived.
"Ready" Shanum gave a thumbs up and moved from the chair behind the high table to the kitchen after first tidying up the money and putting it in a drawer and locking it.
"Ceu, ceu imas.. punten (sorry) orders Pameungpeuk people brought to the front yes, people who want to take already come" his word to ceu imas who is in charge of preparing an order that will be taken by each buyer.
"Yes Tea, mangoes" he answered briefly.
Orders were delivered to the front of the stall to the car of the buyer by Ceu Imas assisted Indri because Shanum serves the first visitors who just came. When Indri came out of the stall with Ceu Imas, suddenly a woman with an all-enclosed appearance even wearing a veil out of the car and approached him.
"Assalamu'alaikum" said the woman greeting Indri.
"Wa'alaikumsalam's chat. The mother of Pameungpeuk?" Indri ensures its customers after confirming the flat number of the car informed by the customer.
"Yes, I'm from Pameungpeuk" the woman replied.
"Sorry Mom, the proof of order can be shown?" Indri makes sure again that the person is the intended buyer. The mother took her gawai and showed her proof of the order chat and proof of transfer.
"Is this the owner of the stall?" ask the mother.
"Not Mom, I'm Indri I'm just helping here. The owner is my cousin Teh Zahra Ma'am" replied Indri honestly. He held out the box he was carrying to a man who had opened the back door of the car.
For a moment Indri looked at the man who looked very handsome in his eyes.
"Mother, his order is on behalf of Akhtar Farzan, is she ready Mother?" Indri who is easily familiar with anyone ventured to ask without hesitation. He was not awkward when asking that, because already twice the order on behalf of Akhtar he served, he even replied to a message with a number he named Akhtar Pameungpeuk to re-confirm the order and confirm the payment.
"She's my son" the mother replied with a smile hidden behind her veil but visible to Indri through the twinkle of her eyes.
"That's it Mom? handsome very, hehe.." show Indri with his chin to the man who is arranging the boxes into his car.
The mother who was none other than Bu Fatimah chuckled in silence, she looked at the man who drove her from Bandung.
"No, he's my nephew. Still hang my son with him mah" joked Bu Fatimah with a little laugh when he said it.
"Ouh.hhehe.kirain, sorry Mom I was presumptuous" said Indri neutralizing the atmosphere that made him feel bad for asking personal things he thought.
"Nothing, I was happy to meet directly with the employees of this mother's shop. Honestly, I was hooked on the chicken pepes. Uuwwhhh..maknyos really tree, the spice feels up to the bones, the chicken is also very tender. Moreover, the mustop potatoes also taste different from others" Ms. Fatimah told a long story about the impact with her mother Shanum's cooking. Indri who listened to the words of Bu Fatimah so his own smiles, happy with the satisfaction felt by consumers.
"Thank God if you like it, I'm glad to hear it. Hopefully next mother becomes our regular customer" Indri said with hope, he was happy that the mother's shop was getting ahead and got a great impression from his customers.
"Ceu Imas is done?" asked Indri who saw Ceu Imas carrying a small box to the car and handed it to the man who had received and cleared all his orders into the car.
"No longer Neng, there is another one who wants to be escorted by Zahra he said" said ceu imas while passing back into the stall after nodding his head towards Mother Fatimah.
After a few minutes of waiting, Shanum came out carrying a small box in his left hand and a paper bag in his right hand.
"Assalamu'alaikum" Shanum said to Ms. Fatimah. He nodded and smiled kindly greeting that customer.
"Wa'alaikumsalam" Indri and Bu Fatimah answered compactly
"Well this is Bu's owner of my mother's shop as well as my cousin Teh Zahra" Indri pointed with open arms and a sumringah face towards Shanum who had just arrived. Shanum frowned and shook his head to see the behavior of his cousin
"Sorry Mom, long wait" said Shanum mince words he handed the paper bag in his right hand and then greeted Ms. Fatimah with reverence.
Ms. Fatimah smiled widely to get an extraordinary welcome from the owner of the ideal rice stall.
"No, I'm happy to meet and chat with whose deck was that?" tanya Bu Fatimah glanced at Indri who was still loyal standing beside her.
"Indri Bu, I am Indri" Indri replied with a smile on his lips.
"Yes, Indri Deck. Oya what is this?" continued Bu Fatimah, he lifted the paper bag that was handed over by Shanum.
"Yes, I'm sorry again. There was a little souvenir on the road, I would have kemaghriban on the road if now want to go to Pameungpeuk" Shanum prepared a variety of cakes and puddings for a special notch for his distant customers.
"Ouh no, just calm down. Coincidentally I want to go to the reunion first in the area, it's close to staying a few minutes longer until. There is still a lot of time before maghrib" explained Bu Fatimah to unravel Shanum's discomfort, he deliberately came from Bandung to attend a reunion held by friends during school at PGA Garut.
"Oh Alhamdulillah then. Here's one more box where's Mom's order kept?" Shanum leaned towards the front of the car, he jumped as two burly hands stretched out to his left.
Shanum looked at the two hands and then looked up, looking at the face of the owner of the sturdy hand. They looked at each other and for a moment their eyes were locked.
"Sir Ahsan?" Shanum called out the name of the man standing before him quietly and was greeted with a sweet smile that became typical of the man.
"We meet again" Ahsan said casually.
