Dusk At the End Please

Dusk At the End Please
Shanum Grief (2)

Slowly Shanum left his sister-in-law and mother-in-law who were sleeping. He hesitated to wake the two people considering they had just fallen asleep. Shanum stepped in search of the mushala, there was still time for him to perform the tahajud prayer.

He wanted to spill all his sorrow on the Khaliq in his every prostration. Shanum realized that nothing had happened without His stipulations.

"O Allah, when I have to choose something, make it my choice it is a choice that brings good to me. One week ago, I established myself to choose him to be my priest, O Lord"

"He's a good man, he's a responsible husband. He treated me well, and led me to be a better person. He's a filial son to his parents, he's a good brother, look after and protect his sister. I bear witness to the good deeds of Baihaqi Abdillah my husband, O Rabb. Please return him to our midst, hiks 😭"

"I know, O Lord, there is no misfortune that is not written in your destiny, all have been recorded according to Your scenario. Give us the strength of heart to be patient and sincerely accept Your every provision. Get my husband through all this, Rabb"

"Punish us, O Allah, we are sure that with difficulties there will be ease. Life can be teetering and tortuous, but it won't stop. Desa and mind may run away, but they will not die. Opportunity may be lost but he will not run out. And no matter how heavy and narrow our current situation may seem, we believe that Your help is very near. Make it easy for my husband to get through all this, Rabb"

"O Allah, whatever the darkness of the night may be, will surely be followed by the appearance of dawn as the beginning of the light of life. There is nothing difficult for You, Lord, Your Fayakun Kun, whom we have always relied on. Give healing to my husband, Lord"

"Submit the Ecclesiastes which we are mumbling, O Rabb, and grant the do'a-do'a which we have set aside. Only to You do we surrender, for You are the best place to return"

"Hasbunallah Wanikmal Vice-Maula Wanikman Nasir. Sufficient is Allah as our helper, He is our best protector and helper. Aamiin's"

Shanum ended his groaning at the end of the night as I heard the dawn prayer. He immediately performed the dawn qabla prayer and continued with the dawn prayer.

Finished thinking, Shanum immediately returned to his original place. In the front seat of the operating room was still sitting two of her favorite people who were still faithful waiting for the results of her husband's surgery.

Slowly Shanum woke Hasna up,

"Dek, wake up already at dawn" Shanum patted Hasna's shoulder which instantly woke up and began to gather her consciousness.

"What time is it, Tea?" ask her to Shanum. She fumbled his lap, the mother still sleeping so peacefully in her lap.

"It's almost five o'clock, the dawn prayer first yes, let's keep waiting here" said Shanum slowly, but apparently their conversation woke up his mother-in-law.

"You guys up? how's Haqi doing?" Ms. Ratna got up and immediately asked her son's situation.

"No news yet, Mi. The operation is not finished yet" Shanum replied lethargic.

At the same time the operating room door was open. The doctor who treated Haqi followed several other doctors out of the operating room.

As Shanum, Hasna and Bu Ratna stood up and went straight to the doctor.

"How's doctor?" shanum asked impatiently.

"The operation is over, but the mother's husband is still unconscious. Right now we're going to move him to the treatment room" the doctor replied.

"meaning? so how's my husband doing now, Doc?" Shanum felt the doctor's answer was unsatisfactory, and asked for clarity about her husband's situation.

"We'll still be watching. The operation has been done according to procedure and we will know the results of the next six hours" it was obviously the doctor who still made Shanum dissatisfied but he could do nothing but wait and continue to pray.

Not waiting for long, Haqi was taken out of the operating room. Various kinds of tools stuck to his body. Some nurses pushed the bed carrying Haqi's body towards the treatment room.

"Can we accompany him?" shanum asked softly, she walked to where the nurses were taking her husband.

"Bye, Mom. Once in the care room mom and family can take turns waiting for him. Hopefully the presence of the mother and family nearby can accelerate the patient's awareness" said the doctor who accompanied the nurse who brought Haqi to the treatment room.

Shanum breathed a sigh of relief, at least at this time he was able to accompany and close to her husband even though he was still unconscious.

While in Bandung...

Today is the day that news hunters look forward to. Akbar's wedding which will unite two prominent families in Bandung will be held soon. The event will be held at nine o'clock at a luxury hotel in Bandung. All is the desire of Raina, Akhtar does not know anything and does not want to know about the concept of marriage like what will be done.

When it was seven o'clock, Akhtar was still at his house wearing his nightgown. He stood facing the window that was pointing at the sun that was emitting its rays, entering his room that looked still in disarray.

His mind drifted to the time that had passed, the shadows of his companionship with Shanum again spinning in his memory. For whatever sake, it was very difficult for Akhtar to escape from those shadows. The more he tried his hardest to forget, the more regret enveloped his heart.

"Shanum.if I choose to let you go, believe me I've broken my whole heart. I had a great argument with myself. I have sent millions of do'a so that God may show us another way but farewell. Before I finally accepted His fate, that indeed the only way was to be willing" Akhtar spoke to himself.

"Shanum.I'm getting married today" she said softly, tears were dripping from the corner of her eyes.

"Shanon...Shanum's...Shanum Najua Azzahra.." his lips continued to call Shanum's name soft, his tone was getting lower along with the sound of knocking on the door that disperse his daydream.

Czech....

The sound of the door opening, looks Miss Fatimah standing in the doorway. Spreading his gaze to every corner of Akhtar's room. He shook his head when he found that the son was still dressed the same at bedtime. Her even disheveled hair signified that she had just woken up from her sleep.

After the morning prayer, Fatimah saw Akhtar rushing back into her room.

"Ready, Son. In a moment we will go to the hotel" said Mrs Fatimah with tenderness.

"Have you met Dad?" Akhtar ignored Fatimah's words and switched the conversation.

"Yet, why?" asked Fatimah Curious.

"Before I picked up Mom to Garut, dad said that he wanted to talk to her for one eye" Akhtar told Ms Fatimah

"About what?"

"I don't know Mom, just for sure it looks like I'm willing to explain something to mom about something in your past maybe" Akhtar said.

"Already, Son. Regarding Mom and Dad's past, I don't think it matters anymore. It's all over, I don't want to talk about it anymore. It's better now that you're ready, outside Ghifar is waiting for you" Ms Fatimah said, cutting off their conversation about her ex-husband.

"Ghifar?" akhtar asked in surprise, "he said he would pick me up at eight and thirty, now it's still half eight. What's wrong with her?" Ahsan was astonished by the arrival of his friend and assistant.

"Where is he now, Mom?"

"He was enjoying a cup of tea at the back twras" explained Ms Fatimah.

Akhtar immediately came out of his room he did not care about his appearance. Fatimah shook her head to see her son's behavior.

"Bro.." said Akhtar when he found Ghifar sitting on the terrace while enjoying a cup of tea and fried bananas that had been prepared by Ms. Fatimah.

"Why Boss, stayed up last night? not strong enough to wait today, right?" goda Ghifar upon seeing Akhtar came up with an appearance and expression that was still in waking mode.

"Isshhhh Lo" Akhtar spray, he punched Ghifar's shoulder who looked relaxed talking while continuing to enjoy his mother's fried banana.

"Considerate, it's okay Boss times, honest times. BTW, marry each person, uh marry.wedding means, hehe..." Ghifar was still blabbering at Akhtar who was getting annoyed at him.

"Is there anything Lo Tumben came earlier than the promised time?" tanya Akhtar diverted their unprofitable talks according to Akhtar.

Ghifar swallowed the remaining fried banana in his mouth, then sipped the warm tea right in front of him.

Ghifar reached into the pocket of the suit he was wearing.

"Sorry Boss, I don't mean to block your happiness. I just don't want you to regret it when it's all over" Ghifar began to speak seriously, he handed over the chocolate amplifier he had in his hand to Akhtar.

Akhtar received the amplof with a flat face. Slowly he opened the contents of the amplof and looked at it one by one.

"Where do you get all this" he asked Ghifar.

"Our confidant sent it last night. There is more evidence Boss can trust, all the videos are already on this memory card" Ghifar again handed over a small package containing the memory card.

"Follow me to the room!" he told Ghifar.

Akhtar passed by carrying the amplof that Ghifar handed over to his room.

"Mom, I have a little bit of work to do with Ghifar" Akhtar told his mother that he did not want to be disturbed.

"Alright, hopefully it will be finished soon, soon we will have to go to the hotel" replied Ms Fatimah reminded Akhtar and only answered nodding her head.

Arriving in the room, Akhtar told Ghifar to open the memory card on his laptop. He took the photos back out of the chocolate amplof, squeezing the brown amplof that was still in his grasp. His face flushed red, his hands clenched with anger. He looked back at the photos and then threw them hard on the floor.

"Bosses..." Ghifar pointed the laptop screen at Akhtar.

Akhtar played the videos one by one. Lots of videos on the memory card, but when the third video began on Akhtar's computer immediately turned his face.

"Have you secured the evidence?" ask him to Ghifar.

"It's Boss"

"I'm tipping mom" Akhtar got out of his seat, he grabbed the hoodie jacket hanging near the door to the outside, he took the car keys and walked towards the garage where his car was parked.

"Boss, boss..." Ghifar yells at Akhtar, but is ignored by Akhtar.

He plugged the gas and ran his car out of the garage at high speed. Ghifar is worried about the way Akhtar drives his car.

"Mom, I followed Akhtar first yes" Ghifar told Ms. Fatimah.

"Where is he?" ask Fatimah to be worried.

"I don't know Mom, she was in a hurry. Now I'll catch up with him. I am calm" explained Ghifar trying to calm the worried-looking Ms Fatimah.

How not, the time has shown eight more. They should now be on their way to the hotel where the ijab qabul took place and the wedding reception Akhtar and Raina.

Akhtar parked his car in front of his father's main house. For several months now his father's family did not live in a house in the foundation. They chose to live in the main house that used to be the residence of the parents of his stepmother Akhtar.

Akhtar got out of the car and closed the door violently. Without greetings he entered the house that made Yasmin and Naura step-sister Akhtar surprised to see his brother who came suddenly with an appearance that was not ready.

"Sir Akhtar?" Yasmin and Naura called Akhtar in surprise.

"Where's dad?" ask Akhtar ketus.

"Huh? daddy?" Naura who was shocked to hear the question became nervous as Akhtar asked the whereabouts of their father.

"So why aren't you ready?" Yasmin who had been silent since that time was surprised to see the sudden arrival of Akhtar finally made a sound.

"Where's dad?" Akhtar repeated his question and ignored Yasmin's question for him.

"A.dad is in his room, Brother" Naura replied stammered.

"Please call father, there's something I want to say" Akhtar said still with a flat expression making Yasmin silent and Naura immediately went to call her father.

"Akhtar's? why are you here? not ready? shouldn't we be at the hotel?" Sopia, Akhtar's stepmother came out with her father ready with a suit stelan ready to go to the hotel where her son's ijab qabul took place.

"Dad I have something to say" Akhtar ignored his stepmother's question, focusing on the father who was his main goal.

"Come on!" said the father, he understood there was something important that his son would say.

Akhtar followed where his father went, his work space was his goal. Once there Akhtar immediately handed over a brown amplof containing photographs of Raina with her lover while she was in Australia, photos of Raina's promiscuity while she was abroad even in those photos Raina did not wear a hijab and dress that showed her aura.

"It could be an edit" Akhtar's father said casually after seeing the photos.

Akhtar then sent some videos of his gawai to his father's number. Her father just gawked at each immoral scene in the video that clearly the culprit was Raina with a different male.

"The last video I sent happened a few days ago in Bandung, Dad. I think you're smart enough to decide what steps you should take next. Please do not pawn my future by plunging me into a household far from the word sakinah. I hope you understand this time. I'm saying goodbye"

Akhtar passed away leaving behind his father who was still reluctant to make a sound. His father was completely shocked to receive this news. The girl he always prided himself on was nothing more than a cheap woman hiding behind her veil.

Akhtar drove his car at high speed out of the luxury home complex. The road he went through was quite congested as today was a holiday. His emotions again peaked when his car was stuck in traffic, he was upset so that when there was a chance Akhtar immediately turned back the direction of his car, he drove into the toll gate that looked lengthened. I don't know where the destination was, which must have been Akhtar's mind was in a rage.

Recalling that Raina's photos and videos made regrets even more so in her heart, she had released diamond after stone.

Akhtar runs his car at above average high speeds, he doesn't care about some cars honking when preceded by him and....

"Arrrggghhhhhhh.." cried Akhtar,

Brugh.....

The car that Akhtar was driving hit the highway barrier and rolled several times until it turned upside down and emitted smoke...
