Shanum Disappeared

Shanum's heart rippled when he heard Ahsan's whisper right beside him. Whispers that he was very much looking forward to after his downturn because of the wait that ended disappointed.

He hoped that Ahsan would be able to become a healer of all the inner wounds he made himself. It doesn't seem like it would be difficult to love an Ahsan, as long as he is willing to open his heart, Shanum thought. But that was when Suraya was not among them.

The presence of a hundred and eighty-degree Suraya changes Shanum's vision of romance. All the visions he had painstakingly assembled with Ahsan ended without execution and were only hallucinations.

Shanum took a few steps away, he recalled the reality he was currently experiencing. He had already promised Suraya to stay away from Ahsan. Shanum must keep his interaction with Ahsan in order not to have a taste accident.

The next day Shanum was getting ready to return to Bandung, various kinds of souvenirs had been prepared by his mother for Liani and especially for Ahsan who was allegedly by almost all members of his family as Shanum's future husband.

Travel that will bring Shanum back to Bandung is ready to take him. Many times Liani called asking for Shanum's whereabouts. It seems like he can't wait for the souvenirs that Shanum's mother has prepared especially for him.

At three o'clock in the afternoon Shanum had already arrived at the foundation, usually every return from Bogor Ahsan would welcome him at the gate but this time not. Shanum returns to Bandung unbeknownst to Ahsan, and asks Liani not to tell him if Ahsan asks.

Shanum no longer wants to get messages that are full of pressure and threats. Obviously that makes him very uncomfortable. Although Shanum knew the identity of the sender, he was not used to having enemies in his daily life.

Shanum's arrival is already known to Raina and Suraya. Suraya who got the information from her man that Ahsan came to Bogor a few days ago angry, she had run out of patience and planned something unexpected.

So did Raina, without Akhtar knowing Raina had opened a messaging application on Akhtar's device when they had lunch and Akhtar said to the toilet. He sees a lot of messages being sent to someone who Raina believes is Shanum. From the number she got from Suraya, Raina believes the contact on the Akhtar device named Sweetheart is Shanum.

No different from Suraya, Raina was angry. He was angry at Akhtar and threatened to report Akhtar's behavior to his father and mother because he had dared to hurt his heart by having an affair with Shanum, Raina accused. Though the person Akhtar sent the message did not reply to the message at all.

Akhtar was not evasive, as Raina asked her for an explanation about the messages she sent to Shanum. He answered all of Raina's questions casually. There was not the slightest bit of hesitation on Akhtar's face as he answered all the questions Raina had thrown.

"So it's true that the woman who was your lover was the teacher?" raina asked with an annoyed expression.

"Yes", Akhtar replied casually.

"Why did you part?" tanyanya.

"That's because I misunderstood her, thought she was married and it turned out I was wrong. He is waiting faithfully for me. Unfortunately I was late to learn that fact, I was no longer able to back down from this matchmaking. Except..." Akhtar's words stopped, his eyes fixed on Raina.

"Except what?" ask Raina astonished.

"Unless you're willing to step back and let me go back with Shanum" Akhtar said loudly.

Raina rolled her eyes lazily.

"So you're forced to accept our match?" ask Raina again.

"Yes", Ahsan replied firmly.

"You don't love me?" raina's tone began to weaken, she seemed to be holding back tears.

"Sorry Ray, that love can't be forced. God who holds my heart, he who grows love in my heart. So don't ask me why I don't love you and just love Shanum" Akhtar said.

Raina bellowed hearing Akhtar mention Shanum's name, with all her might holding back the resentment in her heart.

"I'm just trying to be honest with you, from the beginning I've wanted to say it but I'm looking for the right time for it. And now it may be time you know everything. Shanum is my lover but I can't have him because I've already committed to my father in order to make an arranged marriage with you."

"I was shocked to find out that the woman Ahsan had been after all was Shanum, I thought she was still waiting for Suraya. After finding out that Ahsan loved Shanum so much I was a little relieved, at least leaving Shanum with the right person. I'm sure Ahsan will be able to make Shanum happy."

"But it turns out that the love that has been considered finished was not yet by Suraya. I did not expect Suraya to return, enter Ahsan's life at will and destroy Ahsan's plan. I can't allow this, I can't let Shanum get back hurt after the hurt and disappointment I gave earlier to him."

"I hope you understand Ray, love can't be forced. I'm sorry I can't love you and let me go back with Shanum" Akhtar at length expressed his heart.

The experience of the father who prefers to be dishonest and ends with a breakup with his mother makes Akhtar commit to himself to always be open and honest with his feelings no matter how painful it is. Raina was speechless, slowly she wiped away the tears dripping down her cheeks. His gaze looked back at Akhtar deeply, his loving gaze showing how disappointed his heart was when he found out that the person he loved so much had never loved him.

"Don't you ever love me for a minute?" ask Raina lirih.

Since long ago he has been chasing the love of Akhtar, all the ways he did but his love was never reciprocated, never a little Akhtar glanced at him.

"Sorry Ray" Akhtar replied firmly.

"All right then. If I can't have your heart, at least I'll have your body. Until whenever I will never let go of you let alone let you go back with that teacher. No, never will." Raina spoke with great emphasis, she seemed unable to master her emotions. His breathing rose and fell, his face flushed red withstanding anger.

Akhtar sighed, he no longer knew how to deal with Raina. Her honesty did not make Raina realize that love cannot be forced. It seemed like her hope of parting well with Raina was only limited to hope.

Since then, Raina has not let Akhtar calm down. Raina always follows Akhtar wherever Akhtar goes. When they were not together, he always contacted Akhtar and confirmed his whereabouts. Akhtar was overwhelmed with various threats and Raina.

Fortunately there was the Mother where Akhtar complained, she expressed all her anxiety. Every night he told her what he was going through every day and happily listened to every complaint of the son.

Akhtar could not imagine if he continued to be in this position. Raina's increasingly possessive attitude makes Akhtar's wiggle room more limited.

Shanum's return to the foundation makes the two beautiful women who are protecting his love again feel threatened. Suraya's men swiftly reported all Shanum's movements since descending daei travel. He sent the photos to Suraya's device.

Not visible because of the dark car glass. Not long after that the car's glass was opened. Seemed someone Shanum already knew very well, he then ordered Shanum to get into the car.

"Lake in!" strict orders.

Shanum jumped in shock upon recognizing the person. He looked at Suraya without responding to her orders.

"Lake in!" repeat Suraya with the same intonation.

"What do you want?" shanum asked curiously.

"You'll find out after coming with us. Now get in the car or are we forced to drag?" timpal, who was next to the driver, and Shanum knew who he was. Raina is Akhtar's fiancee.

Shanum ignored his luggage, he then got into the car without asking much more.

Inside Shanum's car was still silent, he was staring at the two people in the front seat who looked cold. Shanum is still studying the situation he doesn't want to misbehave, he doesn't want to be rash.

The car drove at medium speed towards the outside of the foundation complex. The longer the car gets away, Shanum doesn't know where he's going. On the way, Shanum finally ventured to speak.

"Sister, where are we going?" asked Shanum softly.

Suraya who was driving the car also glanced at Shanum from the front rearview mirror.

"At any time you'll find out, which obviously this time I'm not messing around, I'll prove that the messages I sent you weren't just threats. You've been too presumptuous to play with me Shanum.
