The entire foundation has now been shocked by Shanum's disappearance. Akhtar exerted all his power to search for Shanum's whereabouts. All security teams were deployed to help with Shanum's search.

Everyone related to Shanum was contacted one by one. Ahsan was busy contacting his college friends and Shanum. Liani also carefully asked Shanum's whereabouts to the family in Bogor, not wanting to invite the suspicions of Shanum's family there.

Akhtar did not stay silent, he tried to contact his friends in Garut.

The time had already shown at eleven o'clock in the evening, but there was no bright spot about Shanum's whereabouts. The police could not act because news of Shanum's disappearance had not been up to twenty-four hours.

Everyone was busy with their own speculations. They increasingly believe that there are evil intentions in Shanum, because Shanum has been known as a good teacher, never involved in negative things even all his track record is very good. He is also known as a friendly and kind teacher, so it is unlikely that Shanum has enemies.

Akhtar has since contacted Raina and sent him a message but for hours the message he sent only ticked one.

Akhtar believes that Raina is involved with Shanum's disappearance as well as Suraya's, since news of Shanum's loss spread Suraya's device and Raina was simultaneously inactive.

Akhtar and Ahsan are still faithfully monitoring the CCTV gates of the foundation in Akhtar's workspace at the foundation's office. The computer in the room is connected to all the CCTV installed in the neighborhood of the foundation. They hope Shanum shows up soon and returns to the foundation.

"Bro, I suspect Suraya and Raina are behind Shanum's disappearance" Akhtar breaks the silence between them.

Ahsan turned his head, he could not deny since his heart said that the two girls were the culprits. But Ahsan did not want to act rashly, he was aware of who to deal with if the charges turned out to be wrong.

Not only will he be troubled but also his father's career in the military. Suraya's father is the father's superior, and he has the power to do anything that threatens his father's position.

Ahsan took a deep breath, and nodded in agreement with Akhtar's argument.

"Then how should we?" ask Ahsan lethargic. "Right now all we can do is look for evidence that Shanum was actually kidnapped and turn the evidence over to the police so they can act"

"I have contacted my friend, he served in the criminal section of the West Java Police and is ready to help us" Ahsan explained the strategy he had prepared.

"Regarding Suraya, if it is true that he is the mastermind of all this then I will make my own calculations with him" continued Ahsan growled.

Akhtar just bearded to hear Ahsan's explanation. And after waiting for quite a long time finally the message Akhtar sent to Raina a few hours ago was two-tongued blue. He also gets a message from Raina.

Raina:

'I'm again at a friend's house, sorry I lowbat battery, just finished charging. What's up, honey? kangen huh?'

Raina answered Akhtar's message as usual. Ahsan rolled her eyes lazily while reading the message.

Akhtar:

Come to my house, I have something to say.

After talking to Ahsan about their suspicions about Suraya and Raina's involvement. They both agreed to investigate in their own ways. Of course without involving the authorities so as not to arouse suspicion. Akhtar replied to Raina's message quickly. She accidentally lures Raina's arrival to her house to prove her suspicions.

Raina was very enthusiastic when she received the notification of the incoming message from Akhtar, she smiled to herself after reading the message. She had imagined that Akhtar tonight would say her readiness to marry her soon.

"What's wrong?" suraya's question unravels Raina's delusion.

"Huh?" Raina's mind and body don't seem to be well connected.

"You're smiling to yourself, what's wrong?" Suraya repeated the question.

"Akhtar asked me to meet him at home, I think now his mind is open. She will definitely determine our wedding day" Raina replied with a joyful look on her face.

The two of them were still in the room where Shanum was holding. The man who became Suraya's envoy to scare Shanum was still loyal to be there waiting for orders. The three of them were laughing at Shanum's fear because of their threat.

"How's it?" the sound of Suraya's jolt made Shanum's guts shrink back. She was completely traumatized by Suraya and Raina.

Shanum took a deep breath trying to neutralize back his feelings.

"I will resign from the foundation" Shanum said firmly. He tried to calm down when he said his decision.

Shanum was forced to decide on his choice at number one. Although working at the foundation was one of his dreams, Shanum was powerless when faced with a very difficult choice. He could not imagine how much his future would be ruined if Suraya really proved his threat.

Suraya and Raina laughed happily at Shanum's decision.

"Haha.good! I know you are smart and able to make the right decisions. Good job!" puji Suraya's.

"I'll give you one day to take care of everything about your resignation. I hope the day after tomorrow you have left the foundation and never come back" Raina chimed in, speaking seriously and with great emphasis.

"Now trim your clothes and clean your face, we'll go back to the foundation. Make sure no one knows about tonight's events." Raina gave instructions again.

"You..." Suraya pointed to the man who was his man.

"You take this woman to the foundation, use your car and if anyone asks you if you have an online taxi service" said Suraya.

Shanum got up from his seat he walked towards the exit asking Suraya to show him where the toilet was.

After waiting for ten minutes, Shanum came out of the toilet. He looks fresher even though his face still looks swollen because he cried for a long time.

They eventually left Shanum's house. Suraya and Raina enter the car brought by Suraya and then drive the car at moderate speed and followed by the car that brought Shanum. Their cars came out in tandem, out of a place that was very terrible for Shanum. Tonight's events seem to be events Shanum will never forget.

Time has shown at one in the morning. Akhtar and Ahsan continued to observe the situation through CCTV, drowsiness started to attack them. Ahsan lowered his head a sign that his drowsiness was completely unstoppable. So Akhtar he leaned his head on the seat of his greatness which he was sitting in the middle of his eyes was closed.

Without them realizing the person they had been waiting for had now gotten out of the car and was about to enter the main gate of the foundation.

"Assalamu'alaikum" Shanum greeted Mr. Satpam who is in charge of guarding tonight.

"Wa'alaikumussalam, Ms Shanum?" replied Pak Satpam with a shocked facial expression when he saw that the one who came and greeted him was Shanum. The man who had been horrendous since a few hours ago all over the foundation for his loss.

"It's Ms. Shanum, isn't it, Ms. Shanum is it, is it?" Mr. Security Guard asked back to make sure that the person currently standing before him was actually Shanum.

"Yes sir, I'm Shanum. Sorry if coming at midnight is so troublesome." Shanum replied while apologizing because only this time he came home this late unless there are school activities.

"Ouh.kok Bu, just now also Bu Raina and her friend just came" replied Mr. Satpam again relaxed.

"Mom, all right?" ask Shanum again.

"Every night everyone was busy looking for Mom. He said Mom's missing. Mother's absence was even reported to the Bu police, but the police could not act because Mother's disappearance was still less than twenty-four hours"

"Pak Akhtar and Mr. Ahsan asked all the security team of the foundation to be taken down, you know, to look for the whereabouts of the mother" said Mr. Satpam conveying information about the furore of the foundation due to Shanum's disappearance.

Shanum sighed. He did not expect that it would become this big. He was not unhappy with everyone's concern for him, of course all of it must have been spearheaded by Liani, Ahsan and Akhtar. But for now both Ahsan and Akhtar's involvement will really only be a boomerang for himself.

"Mom Shanum is okay?" mr. Satpam's question resuscitated Shanum from his daydream.

"No sir, I'm fine. Everything's fine. Sorry sir was a hassle. Then I say thank you, thank you for your concern" concluded Shanum ended his conversation with Pak Satpam.

Shanum also said goodbye to Pak Satpam to immediately go to his service house. He walked half-run towards his service home. The state of the complex was already very quiet, completely deserted as if there were no more signs of life in every official house he passed along to his official house.

Today was a very tiring day, not only Shanum but also the people who were in the foundation because last night they were all involved in the search for Shanum.

The Bogor-Bandung journey has made Shanum tired, but that is nothing compared to the fear and inner fatigue he has just experienced. He again shuddered in horror considering what he had just experienced. The shadows of Suraya and Raina when threatening him back across the picture.
