The room was quiet and quiet....
Only the sound of a tool that became a marker that the body that is stretched weak is still alive.
The chanting of the holy verse of the Qur'an sounds softly adds to the atmosphere of the room. The scriptures were chanted by a beautiful girl who looked black lines under her eyes signifying that she was sleep deprived. His face paled even more, but his spirit was heavier than the rain that fell tonight.
Shanum waited a week for her husband to be alone, but he did not want to leave the room for a moment. Sometimes she was forced to go out because her mother-in-law or sister-in-law wanted to see her husband's situation. But then she came back and accompanied her husband.
Baihaqi Abdillah was declared in a coma after an accident that left her unconscious and in a coma. After the operation, Shanum and his family waited for the results for six hours according to the doctor. She faithfully accompanied her husband who was still unconscious in the treatment room.
Six hours passed yet there was no sign Haqi would come to his senses. The doctor had checked several times but still could not give good news to Shanum and his family. Until finally after twenty-four hours passed Haqi was declared into a coma and had to be treated intensively in a special room to maintain the stability of his body condition.
Various life support tools stuck to his body. Now counted seven days Haqi fell into a coma and there are no signs of being aware.
Shanum patiently accompanied her husband, always taking Haqi to talk even though he never answered her. But Shanum was convinced that her husband had heard what she said. Several times Shanum felt her husband's hand grip tightening as he asked her to speak.
As this morning, after the dawn prayer Shanum recited and sat on a chair beside the bed where her husband lay weakly. He chanted the holy verse of the Qur'an while clasping Haqi's hand. Shanum could feel Haqi's hand in his hand. She was increasingly optimistic that her husband would come to his senses and return to health as before.
Shanum's morning routine every morning was to cleanse Haqi's body and change his clothes. He carefully wiped Haqi's face and hands with a rag that had already been dipped in warm water.
"Abang, this is the seventh day we're in the hospital. Brother didn't miss me? maybe we're on our honeymoon right now. But it's okay we honeymoon in the hospital, Brother quickly wake up yes I miss..hiks,😭"
As much as Shanum's energy withstood the sobs every time it cleansed Haqi's body. She could feel that her husband's body was getting thinner.
"Remember me to pray dhuha first yes, after that I will read another book to Brother" Shanum moved from the chair beside the bed where Haqi lay, he was really not strong enough to hold back the tears that kept flowing down his cheeks.
Without Shanum knowing, at the corner of Haqi's eyes had been inundated with tears as the sobs of the roar grew increasingly powerless.
Other family members could only see Haqi from the glass window of the nursery as only one person was allowed to wait for the patient.
After the prayer of Dhuha Shanum again recited the holy verse of the Qur'an, this time he read the letter of Al-Mulk beside Haqi.
أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
Audzubillahiminasyaitonirojim
I take refuge in God from the damned devil."

The holy verse of the Qur'an returns he chants with a raucous voice as it restrains sobs. Afterwards Shanum prayed for her husband's recovery.
Shanum then grabbed a book that Haqi bought for him while they were visiting a book fair a few days after they moved to Jakarta.
Shanum stared at the book entitled "I Want to Be with You" with eyes that turned dewy. In his memories now revolve back to the flashbacks of his encounter with Haqi, the stories of Haqi who admired him from his college days until their first meeting with the intermediary Adam Shanum's brother-in-law.
Shanum's decision to accept Haqi's proposal began because he wanted to avoid Raina's interference because Akhtar continued to meet him. Sometimes feelings of guilt towards Haqi struck his heart, but so far Shanum has been trying to carry out his role as a wife well. He tried to ignore every taste that ever existed for Akhtar. Wouldn't a taste disappear when it is often ignored, he thought.
Haqi bought the book as an expression that he only wanted to be with Shanum. Every night before going to bed, she read the book until her husband fell asleep.
Since her marriage Shanum has never been in contact with anything related to her past. She is really trying to cultivate love for her halal partner. With a strong determination Shanum promised to make his life choice a path to heaven. Haqi's treatment that was so privileged made Shanum's heart slowly melt.
He remembered every beautiful morning while preparing the clothes that Haqi would wear to the office, the breakfast that he prepared according to Haqi's request last night, driving him to the porch of the house and carrying his briefcase, he said, kissed her hand and was countered with a warm brow kiss by Haqi.
All of that has become routine since Shanum moved to Jakarta. The state of the company that desperately needed Haqi made him unable to take a day off and immediately entered work after they got married.
Haqi once said that if two weeks after his business in the office was over he would take Shanum somewhere. But it looks like it will only be a plan.
Haqi's last words telling him to get ready again ring in Shanum's ears. During the week of marriage Haqi was so patient and sincere to treat Shanum, he was so understanding when Shanum could not give his due. Shanum clasped Haqi's hand. She could feel that her husband was responding to everything he did.
Slowly Shanum rubbed her husband's face with tenderness. On this clear morning Shanum's tears never subsided. She stared at her husband's increasingly thin face with a sad face and tears that kept flowing. With warmth Shanum also peeked at Haqi's forehead.
"Abang, wake up..."
"Wake up quickly, open your eyes.
"I miss Brother...😭"
The glint of her togetherness with Haqi kept spinning in her memory, she cried out sobbing spilling all the flavors while continuing to kiss her husband's hand. Shanum dissolves in a daydream of fond memories with her husband.
Titt's... Titt's... Titt's...
The long, straight-line sound from the monitor that had been controlling Haqi's state for a few days kept Shanum awake from his daydream.
"Bu Shanum please step back first" he said.
Shanum took two steps back from the bed where her husband was lying. The nurse pressed the emergency button on top of Haqi's bed. Soon the doctor who treated Haqi came. He checked Haqi's situation. Shanum could see Haqi opening his eyes with a quick breath.
The doctor removed one by one the tools attached to Haqi's body.
"Why get released, Doc" Shanum asked frantically.
"Abang, is your brother conscious? is your brother awake?" shanum shouted as he saw Haqi's eyes still open with increasingly rapid breathing.
"Sorry ma'am, who will lead?" said the doctor.
"What does the doctor mean?" shanum asked in a high tone.
"The time is not long" the doctor continued, making Shanum feel something hit his heart.
"I Doc" a familiar voice in Shanum's ear was suddenly in the room. Shanum did not realize that the room was now filled with family members.
Bu Ratna grabbed Shanum who was leaning weakly against the wall of the room where Haqi was in the care, she hugged Shanum tightly followed by Bu Hana Shanum's mother.
"Ashhadu alla ilaha illallah.." The shahadah chanting uttered by Mr. Imran made Shanum aware and made Shanum's defense even weaker.
"Abangc...Bang Haqi.." His voice weakened as the shahada ended the reciting of Haqi's speech.
"Innalillahi wa inna divine raji'un" Mr. Imran rubbed Haqi's paled face then tidied his hand.
"Innalillahi wa inna divine raji'un" all who were present in the room also uttered a word that is a fragment of the verse from the letter Al-Baqarah verse 156.

You were still here yesterday
With me enjoy this taste
Wish it would never end
With you
With you
The world looked so beautiful yesterday
And with you feeling all this
Passing through this black and white life
With you
With you
Now it's here alone
Looking for you doesn't know where
S'may you calm down there
Forever
I've remembered you
Pray for you every night
S'may you calm down there
Forever
Oh-wo-oh
Now it's here alone
Looking for you doesn't know where
S'may you calm down there
Forever
I've remembered you
Pray for you every night
S'may you calm down there
Forever, oh-wo-wo-oh

The world seemed to be upside down, the situation around Shanum became pitch black, Shanum was no longer able to control himself, his body was getting weaker and he finally collapsed in the lap of the Mother and Mother-in-law.
