83. The Satria Thanksgiving Event

The next day, Kinara and her family will go to the Satria family home to attend a small thanksgiving of Satria's success as a police officer. They're going to go in the car that Papa Lukman bought two months ago from a rapidly growing pastry shop. They now have three branches in Jakarta.

" Ara, Alina, hurry" said Papa Lukman, who was waiting for them in front of the house with Mama Santi.

" Yes Pa" replied Kinara and Alina.

Soon, Kinara and Alina left the house. Kinara also immediately locked the door of the house before they all left.

When they were all ready, they got into the car. Papa Lukman immediately ran the car to the Satria family home.

After traveling for about forty-five minutes, they finally reached the Satria family home. They all got out of the car. Seen there are not many guests who come because it is still morning. They had deliberately come early in the morning to help prepare for the event.

" Assalamualaikum" they said.

" Walaikumsalam" replied Arif and Rendra's father who was welcoming guests.

They went straight into the house except for Papa Lukman who joined Arif and Rendra's father to welcome guests. Kinara and Mama Santi approached Bunda Wulan and Puspa who were preparing the cakes they ordered from Mama Santi's store for the guests and helped him. While Alina approached Rere and invited him to play.

" You should not bother to help this ready you know" said Mother Wulan.

" No papa, Ma'am. Some of us also do not feel good just to be silent because Mbak is again bothered " replied Mama Santi.

Kinara looked around the house but he had not yet seen Satria. Puspa smiled as he looked at Kinara like he was looking for someone and he knew who Kinara was looking for.

Kinara looked down embarrassed because it was discovered by Puspa that he was looking for Satria.

Shortly afterwards, Satria is seen coming down the stairs with Risa.

Kinara turned his head in the direction intended by Puspa. And right there was Satria who was walking closer to them by holding Risa.

After that, Puspa immediately went to his room to put Risa to bed who seemed to have been sleepy.

First the event was opened by the person who had been appointed by Arif's father and then continued with a speech and thanksgiving for the success of Satria became a policeman by Arif's father. After that, a prayer was read by an ustadz and they ate with the food the host had prepared. The event was so simple but did not diminish the gratitude of them all.

After the event was over, the guests went home. While the Kinara family remained there to chat for a while.

After that, Satria went to the family room to watch television while waiting for the magrib time to arrive. He wants to enjoy his time off before he starts his activities to serve the community again.
