110. Task Transfers

One month later, Satria did all her work smoothly. Although sometimes he has to do some pretty dangerous investigations but he can do well. He also always took the time to go with Kinara at least once a week when he was very busy. But he was grateful Kinara could understand his busyness and not demand much.

This morning after the morning apple, Satria and her twenty-four other colleagues including Sandi got notice of transferring their duties to other areas. They will be sent to serve in areas that are being intensively used for smuggling illegal goods and drugs, namely in North Sumatra. They must investigate and arrest all perpetrators who smuggled it. They'll all be leaving for the area in one week.

" It is still unexpected that I, it turns out we are among those sent to the island of Sumatra" said Sandi while they were enjoying lunch.

" That means the commander believes in us and we should be able to carry out this task well" Satria said as he chewed his food.

" How do you keep going? You have Kinara who will stay. We do not know exactly when this case is finished, especially the drug dealer we are dealing with is not just anyone. This case will not be easy and it may also take a lot of time "sandi told Satria.

" Otherwise, this is our duty as police officers. We must be able to complete this task and catch the perpetrator even if it is not easy "satria replied.

" When it's about Kinara, I'll talk to him. I'm sure Kinara must understand the same tasks and responsibilities that I have to run " continued Satria.

Sandi nodded her head.

Satria actually felt heavy enough to go far away from the family and also Kinara to carry out this task. But Satria was also quite grateful because with this task he could get a little away from Kinara. Honestly, Satria was quite overwhelmed to resist his lust when he was near Kinara but he also always wanted to see Kinara. He is not hypocritical if he always wants to touch more Kinara and also the demons that tease him are everywhere. With this task at least he could keep his lust for Kinara. He considers this his attempt to keep Kinara before he and Kinara become a halal couple. Even though he will be hit by a longing that may torture himself.

After that, Satria and Sandi went on to spend their lunch and returned to work.

In the evening, Satria went to meet Kinara. He will tell Kinara about the transfer of his work duties because next week he has to leave. Satria had also told Arif's father and Mother Wulan after dinner last night. Mother Wulan strongly objected to the transfer of duty but Satria tried to explain it to Mother Wulan if it was her duty as a police officer. Finally Mother Wulan also allowed Satria to go even with a heavy heart.

Satria waited for Kinara in front of her cafe. He deliberately did not enter because he wanted to invite Kinara to the lake their favorite place to be more comfortable talking.

Kinara walked up to Satria with a helmet in her hand. Kinara had gone to the cafe using an online motorcycle taxi. He deliberately did not bring a motorbike because he would follow Satria.

" Assalamualaikum" Kinara said after being close to Satria.

" Walaikumsalam" replied Satria smiling.

" I'm sorry, you must have waited a long time" said Kinara.

" No way. I also just arrived " replied Satria.

Kinara put a helmet on his head and rode onto Satria's motorcycle. Only then did they both leave the cafe area. Satria propelled his motor at medium speed.

Arriving at the lake, Satria and Kinara immediately got off the motor. They walked hand in hand towards the edge of a very beautiful lake with colorful decorative lights.

" Want to take a boat? " ask Satria to Kinara.

Finally Satria invited Kinara to sit on a bench on the edge of the lake.

" I'm so sorry, lately I've been busy and rarely take you for a walk" Satria told Kinara after they sat down.

" No papa, Mas. I understand " replied Kinara smiling.

" Oh yes, you really did invite me here again, but we were not long ago from here" said Kinara because he felt there was something important.

The last time they met Satria took her to the lake and now to the lake again made Kinara wonder.

" No papa, it's good to talk here. There's something I want to say to you " replied Satria.

Kinara turned her head and frowned. " What do you want to say? " tanya Kinara was curious.

Satria sighed before speaking. He looked at the curious Kinara.

" I got a transfer letter this morning. Next week I have to go to the island of Sumatra and solve a big case there. Because it's a big case so I don't know when this case will be over and how long I'll be there. It could be a couple of weeks, a month, a year or so" Satria told Kinara.

Kinara was quite shocked and speechless hearing that. This meant that he and Satria had to separate again for a time that did not know how long.

Satria held Kinara's hands together. " Dear "call Satria because Kinara is silent.

" Ah yes, Mas " replied Kinara realized.

" I know it's hard for us, but it's also my duty. I'm securing our country from things that aren't right. I beg you to understand yes, dear "said Satria staring at Kinara softly, this is also heavy for her.

Kinara smiled. " Yes, I understand. You have to go and do your job well. I will always support you and this is also part of the responsibility of the profession you choose "responsible Kinara.

Kinara did not want to be selfish and held Satria back nearby. Satria is not only his but belongs to everyone and belongs to the state.
