172. Scholarships to Overseas

Kinara, who had just returned to the teacher room after teaching, suddenly got a phone call from the campus where she taught. They reported that Kinara received a full scholarship for a master's program in Singapore. Kinara of course felt very happy to hear the good news because he could study abroad without costing a penny. But there was sadness in his heart because if he took the scholarship then he had to go to Singapore and leave Satria.

Kinara could not take the decision to accept it or not directly. He had to think about it and talk about it with Satria and their parents. They were almost married and that meant Kinara left Satria when she became a wife. Moreover, they had only met again after a long time and Kinara felt unable to if he had to part with Satria again.

" I can't decide yet, sir. I will contact you immediately if you have decided to accept it or not " Kinara told someone from the campus because he could not give a decision now.

" Okay, we await your decision. I just hope you accept it because it's a great opportunity for you " said the man.

" Good sir " replied Kinara.

The phone call was interrupted and Kinara put her phone on her desk.

" I have to how? It's a pity that I didn't receive this overseas scholarship, but I also can't leave Mas Satria who will become my husband. I have to talk about this with Mas Satria " said Kinara feeling confused.

After that Kinara decided to go to the school cafeteria and look for a cold drink to refresh her head. He also wanted to monitor his students there.

" Mom, please orange juice one yes" Kinara told the canteen keeper.

" Good ma'am " replied the canteen keeper.

It did not take long, Kinara ordered orange juice was ready and Kinara immediately paid for it.

" Thank you, Ma'am" said Kinara received the orange juice.

" Together, Ms. Kinara" replied the cafeteria guard.

Kinara looked throughout the canteen and almost all of her students were enjoying their meal at the break. Kinara smiled as she saw Andrew and his two friends were in the cafeteria and not going to the school rooftop to smoke.

" Thankfully they gradually began to change for the better" muttered Kinara looking at the three students.

As Kinara wanted to get out of the canteen, Jeni called her to join him as well as the other students. Finally Kinara joined them immediately, after all the clock entered was still long enough to sound. They chatted so comfortably with Kinara because Kinara not only positioned herself as a teacher but also a friend.

At the other table, Andrew was watching Kinara chatting together with Jeni and the others.

" May you always be happy with Bang Satria. I would be happy to see Mom happy ", Andrew said in his heart.

Andrew is trying to make Kinara happy with his choice. Let him suppress this feeling until it is gone and Kinara does not need to know.

" Lo can definitely miss Bu Kinara, it just takes time" said Calvin patting Andrew on the shoulder.

Calvin realized that Andrew was watching Kinara not far from their table.

" I'm sure you will also get more from Bu Kinara" added Ibil who also realized that.

At school's return hour, Kinara immediately exited the teacher's room and headed for the parking lot. Before he left school, Kinara took the time to send a message to Satria and say if he wanted to meet. Kinara asked Satria to come to the lake they used to go to because there was a good place to talk about something important.

After the message was sent, Kinara immediately put on her helmet and drove her motorcycle towards the lake.

" Hopefully Mas Satria can come" Kinara said on the way.

Arriving at the lake, Kinara immediately parked his motor and headed for a bench on the lake. There was no one but him and he would wait for Satria there.

After waiting for about thirty minutes, Satria finally came as well. Satria sat next to Kinara.

" I'm sorry you waited so long. I just saw a message from you when I got out of the office" Satria said feeling guilty for making Kinara wait for him long enough.

" No papa, Mas " replied Kinara smiling.

Satria immediately asked Kinara's purpose to take him to the lake. Usually they will go to the lake if they want to talk about important things or special days. Today was not a special day for them so there must be something important that Kinara wanted to tell him.

" I got a call from the college. They told me that I got a scholarship for a master's programme to Singapore " Kinara told Satria.

Satria looked happy after hearing that from Kinara.

" Well, congratulations, dear. I am proud of you "said Satria congratulated his future wife.

Kinara nodded her head with a faint smile. Satria was surprised because it seemed Kinara did not feel happy to get a scholarship abroad.

" How come you don't look happy. This is good news and you can continue your education abroad" Satria told Kinara.

" If I receive that scholarship and go to Singapore, it means I have to leave you. We've been separated for a long time and I can't stay away from you anymore. Moreover, later my status has changed into a wife" said Kinara lowered her head.

Satria fell silent because of what Kinara said. Satria only thought that if indeed they had to separate again if Kinara received the scholarship and went abroad. But Satria also did not want to be selfish and forbade Kinara to continue his education. He could not if he had to follow Kinara to go to Singapore because his duties and responsibilities are here.
