185. Midodareni Night
In the evening, Midodareni will be held. Midodareni is a series of Javanese customs leading to marriage. Midodareni is also touted as the night of the scout or the last night for the two brides to undergo a single period. At midodareni night, usually the groom and family will visit the bride's residence to give various offerings.
Just like that, the Satria and the family will go to the Kinara family home. They are ready with Javanese clothing. So also with Satria who looks very handsome with a light blue beskap and blangkon on the head.
" Let's go now, so as not to be late" said Arif's father to all groups.

After traveling for about forty-five minutes, finally Satria's entourage has arrived at the Kinara family home that has been decorated with Javanese and has a light blue color, according to their wedding theme.
Satria's entourage was immediately welcomed by the Kinara family and they were directed to sit in a place that was already reserved for the grooms' families. The women were directed to go to a room where Kinara was there.
Indeed, on the night of this Midodareni only the woman of the groom-to-be or Satria can meet Kinara. Despite being under the same roof, Satria and Kinara cannot meet before the marriage contract tomorrow.
Mother Wulan, Puspa and her two children, Grandma Retno and the Satrians were escorted by one of Kinara's neighbors to meet Kinara. There Kinara was chatting together with Elsa as well as Alina.
" Assalamualaikum" said Mother Wulan and others.
" Walaikumsalam" replied Kinara.
Kinara immediately turned to the source of the voice and she smiled as she looked at the family of her future husband. Kinara immediately kissed the hand of Mother Wulan and the others, he also hugged the two nieces of Satria who were very close to him.
" Mommy, this is Mom's future granddaughter-in-law. Beautiful right? " said Mommy Wulan to Grandma Retno.
" Sir, I'm Kinara" said Kinara smiling and then greeting Grandma Retno's hand back.
Kinara had never met Satria's grandparents because they settled in Semarang and they never went to Jakarta after Satria's family moved.
Kinara's bridal aura is getting out and plus he uses a light blue modern kebaya in line with Satria, making it even more beautiful.
Kinara smiled shyly to get compliments from Grandma Retno.
After that they chatted briefly with Kinara or rather Grandma Retno because they want to know more about her former grandchildren.
Event after event on the night of Midodareni was passed well and smoothly. Only tomorrow will Satria say the phrase ijab kabul and they officially become a married couple.
