82. Letting Go of Longing

Kinara joined the Satria family to return to their home. It also happened that Kinara was going home to his parents because he did not have a lecture schedule for three days. He also had not returned to his parents' home for a long time because he was busy studying and working.

Satria and Kinara kissed the hands of Arif's father and Mother Wulan alternately.

" Assalamualaikum" said Satria and Kinara simultaneously.

Satria and Kinara will leave by car. Satria did not want to use the motorbike because his motorbike had not been used for a long time and he was afraid if something was damaged and even endanger them both.

" We're going to the lake first, honey. I miss talking to you" Satria told Kinara while they were on their way.

" Yes Mas" replied Kinara turning towards Satria who was focusing on driving.

Honestly, Kinara also felt very long to just chat with Satria. He also wanted to chat with Satria to let go of her longing.

Fifteen minutes later, they had arrived at the artificial lake belonging to the Satria family. They got out of the car and approached the lake.

" We take a boat yuk "take Satria to Kinara.

Kinara smiled then nodded her head.

Satria got on the boat first and Kinara also climbed by holding onto Satria's hand.

" Be careful, dear" Satria told Kinara.

" Yes" replied Kinara.

After Kinara got on the boat and sat down comfortably, Satria rowed the boat to go to the middle of the lake. Kinara smiled at the lake that looked even more beautiful because since the last time he went to the lake with Satria. The flowers on the edge of the lake also further beautify the artificial lake.

" This lake is even better, Mas" said Kinara while looking around the lake.

" Yes dear" replied Satria who was still moving the paddle in her hand.

When they were in the middle of the lake, Satria let them drift in the middle of the lake.

" Yes Mas" replied Kinara staring at Satria.

" I really miss you, Ra. Every day before going to bed I always look at your photos to reduce my sense of kangen the same you "Satria told Kinara.

Satria has not opened her phone since the phone is out of power. Satria immediately took her phone in her pants pocket and turned it on and there were so many messages from Kinara telling her all about her activities.

" I will definitely read everything later" Satria said as she saw so many messages from Kinara.

" Yes Mas" replied Kinara smiling.

Satria and Kinara spent a long time in the lake. The two of them chatted a lot of things to let go of all the longing they had felt all along. Satria also recounted the days while undergoing education there.

It was getting late and Satria invited Kinara to come home.

" We're going home now. It's late afternoon" Satria told Kinara.

" Yes" replied Kinara.

Satria rowed the boat again to return to the edge of the lake. Satria got off the boat first and held Kinara's hand so Kinara wouldn't fall when he got off the boat.

Then Satria and Kinara got into Satria's car and Satria drove him out of the lake and into Kinara's parents' house.

Arriving at the house, Satria and Kinara immediately got out of the car. They walked to the door.

Tok to tok.

Kinara knocked on the door of the house and before long the door was opened by Alina.

" Assalamualaikum" said Satria and Kinara.

" Walaikumsalam" replied Alina.

" Sister" said Alina and hugged Kinara.

Kinara did not come home for almost a month so that made Alina miss her brother.

" Loh, Brother Satria has finished his education? " alina asked as she saw Satria standing behind Kinara.

" Yes Lin" replied Satria smiling.

After that they went into the house. Alina goes to call Papa Lukman and Mama Santi.

Kinara immediately hugged her parents when she saw them enter the living room and then joined Satria sitting on the sofa in the living room.

" Congratulations, Satria. Om proud of you " Papa Lukman told Satria.

" Thank you, Om" replied Satria smiling.

After making small talk, Satria immediately conveyed his intention to invite Papa Lukman and Mama Santi and Alina to come to the ceremony tomorrow.

" Look Om, Satria here all want to invite Om and Auntie family to come to the Thanksgiving event tomorrow at home" said Satria to Papa Lukman and Mama Santi.

" God willing we will all come tomorrow" replied Papa Lukman.

After that Satria was immediately ready to go home because he wanted to get home before magrib.
