222. Nausea

The next morning, Kinara woke up to hear the sound of someone vomiting from the bathroom and the new clock showed at five in the morning. Kinara looked around but she did not find her husband and it was confirmed that the one in the bathroom was Satria.

Kinara was actually worried because it seemed like Satria was still sick, but wasn't her husband last night okay. Kinara wanted to get off the hospital bed but her stomach still hurt and she undoed her intentions. Kinara chose to wait for Satria to come out of the bathroom and asked her how she was doing.

The bathroom door opened and showed a limp Satria with a very pale face.

" You're awake, honey" said Satria smiling and approaching his wife.

Satria tries to look good even though she feels unusually weak and also her head is a little dizzy. He felt a great turmoil in his stomach when he just woke up from sleep and immediately vomited yellow liquid in the bathroom.

" Yes" replied Kinara.

" You still sick, Mom? " ask Kinara with a worried face.

" No, dear " replied Satria smiling.

" You don't lie, your face shoots really gini. I heard you vomiting in the bathroom" said Kinara holding Satria's forehead to check her temperature.

" It's hot, though. You are still sick, Mas " continued Kinara when he felt Satria's body slightly warm.

" I don't know, honey. Maybe these are the remnants of yesterday's illness "answer Satria does not want the wife to worry too much, let alone the condition of Kinara himself is still sick.

After that, Satria invited Kinara to pray at dawn because it was already at dawn. Kinara prayed from the hospital bed because he was not yet strong standing and moving a lot.

Satria folded the prayer rugs he used after performing the morning prayers and approached Kinara. Kinara grabbed the husband's hand and kissed him, Satria also gave a kiss on Kinara's forehead.

" It's better now that you rest, Mas" said Kinara because her husband's face still looks pale.

Satria was about to answer the words of the wife, but the nausea attacked again. Satria immediately covered her mouth and ran to the bathroom feeling something was about to come out.

" Hoek, hoek, hoek "Satria is only spewing yellow liquid because he has not eaten anything.

Satria washed her mouth after she felt she would not vomit again. Satria leaned her body against the bathroom wall because she felt her body was very weak.

" Athaghfirullah, what am I? " satria said slowly because she felt the pain was worse than yesterday.

Meanwhile, Kinara who was outside felt very worried to see her husband who seemed to be getting worse.

" O Allah, why Satria? " murmured Kinara was very worried.

Kinara decided to call the doctor or nurse through the button next to the bed. She was very worried about Satria why, especially her husband did not come out of the bathroom.

" Excuse me, Miss. Did something happen to you? " asked Doctor Lidya as she entered the treatment room.

Just as Kinara opened her mouth, the bathroom door opened. Satria was still with her pale face. Satria was in the bathroom long enough because she had to recover her body to be able to walk after spewing out her entrails.

" Doctor? What was? Did something happen to my wife? " satria asked frantically when she saw Doctor Lidya there because it was not yet time for her examination.

" It wasn't me, but you "weren't Doctor Lidya who answered but Kinara.

" Dok, please check on my husband. Since waking up, she kept nausea and vomiting, I was afraid my husband was doing something ", Kinara told Doctor Lidya.

" No, you should be checked anyway " replied Kinara who wanted Satria to be examined anyway.

Doctor Lidya smiled at the couple who were arguing because Satria refused to be examined.

" Mister Satria, I'd better check on you. Your face looks pale and doesn't seem to be all right" said Doctor Lidya who saw Satria who seemed to be unwell.

" No, you need to be checked now. You don't want to see me worry " Kinara told Satria.

Satria could not refuse him anymore. " Well, but I want to be examined here "satria replied at last.

Satria sat on the sofa in the treatment room and Doctor Lidya began to examine it.

" What do you feel, sir? " ask Doctor Lidya because he already suspects something that causes Satria like this.

" Nausea, weakness and a little dizziness, Doc "answered Satria saying what she felt.

Doctor Lidya smiled. " It seems you're not sick, sir. Everything is also no problem and is fine " Doctor Lidya said.

" Why is my husband, Doc? " tanya Kinara was astonished.

" Satria seems to have couvade syndrome or a sympathetic pregnancy. Couvade syndrome or sympathetic pregnancy is a problem that occurs in the male partner or husband of pregnant women who experience symptoms during pregnancy. Usually what happens is nausea, dizziness, and weakness as Mr. Satria said earlier. Even the pregnant woman who did not feel the symptoms of the pregnancy " replied Doctor Lidya explaining what happened to Satria.

" So that's why I don't feel anything so I don't know if I'm pregnant, Doc? " ask Kinara to make sure.

Kinara did not feel any signs of pregnancy so she did not know if she was pregnant.

" Yes Miss " replied Doctor Lidya.

Satria who heard it felt grateful because she felt how weak and heavy she was and not his wife.

" How long does this last, Doc? " ask Satria because only two days he was quite tortured.

" It is usually in the first trimester or until three months of gestation" replied Dr. Lidya.

Satria sighed, but she did not mind at all if she had to experience all that.

" For more, you can ask Dr. Samuel later because he knows better" Doctor Lidya told Satria.

" Good, Doc. Thank you so much " replied Satria.

Doctor Lidya nodded his head.

After that Doctor Lidya took turns to check on Kinara and he was there, although it was not time he did the Kinara examination schedule.
