The Part 30

For two days I did not meet Awan, he sent a message he said he had a job in Bandung for three days. He kept sending messages even though I didn't get one.

As usual in the morning I walked to a stop not far from my boarding house to go to the office. Suddenly I stopped seeing Laura in front of me. How did he know I lived here?

"Chalika. I want to talk to you alone!" as usual the way his eyes pay attention to my appearance, then smile mockingly.

"I'm sorry I have nothing to do with you" I was annoyed by the way I looked at me like that. What right he has to look down on my appearance. I intended to leave him, but only a few rare ones he had started chattering.

"You don't want me to keep talking to you to hear what I want to say"

"I have to work now, I don't want to be late just hearing your babble" I replied resentfully.

"I won't be long either"

Free to leave him at this moment, he will definitely follow me while babbling like he is now. And I don't want people to notice us.

"You only have five minutes" I turned my body to him.

"That's more than enough! I don't want you to bother the Clouds anymore. Because I'm going to marry him soon!" said ketus.

I was shocked when I put my hand on my face. But fortunately his hand was captured by Mr. Andre.

"Enough Laura!" snapped Mr. Andre looks angry "act you like an uneducated person!"

"Mas Andre doesn't have to interfere!" laura replied annoyed

"If anyone wants to hurt Lika, that person will have to deal with me first!"

"What is his relationship with Mas?"

"I love him" replied Mr. Andre sternly

Laura seemed to be in disbelief at what she had just heard. But not long after that she laughed impulsively at me "What do you wear to seduce men?"

"Quite I don't want to hear anything from you" my patience is up "if you're sure it's a Cloud child you shouldn't have to come to me like this, just finish it together. I won't interfere with your lives anymore!" no matter what demon possessed me this morning, I usually never lose control in front of someone. But Laura really has gone too far.

"You don't think this is a Cloud boy!" he was angry with his eyes glaring at me. "Awan is not as innocent as you think, or maybe you can not arouse his passion, so when he is with you he does not do it.."

I can barely control my emotions, but no I'm not the one who can get angry in public at will. I'd rather just leave him alone than have to deal with Laura.

"Hey I'm not done talking!" yelled Laura

But I don't mind him, he's stirring up enough of my emotions this morning. I was surprised when Mr. Andre pulled my hand "I'll take you to the office"

"But Sir.."

"No need to argue, you want Laura to keep following you and babble the things that are not important" said Mr. Andre.

I saw Laura trying to chase after me, it didn't seem like she was enough to insult me right now "You've managed to seduce your boss, but why should you seduce the Clouds...." Laura just kept screaming.

True what Mr. Andre said, it is better for me to leave with him than later to have to deal with Laura again. That's why I followed what Mr. Andre said. I don't listen to anything that comes out of his mouth.

I shouldn't have to overtime today, but after this morning I couldn't concentrate at all on my work. Tina had gone home because there was nothing she needed to do anymore. Maybe it wasn't the whole problem this morning. This is also because my body is not healthy.

At this hour who called me on the office phone? Almost everyone has gone home, Awan was the one who called because since then both the message and the phone I did not ignore. But I was also afraid that this was a job so I decided to pick it up.

"Hello good night, with Chalika there's something I can help you with"

"No sir, I still have a job"

"I picked you up.."

"No need sir" I immediately refused Mr. Andre's invitation.

"When I'm in front of your room"

When I saw that Mr. Andre was already in front of the door, he smiled while showing his cellphone. I hung up the phone because the guy was already here.

"Good night sir"

"Night, why don't you lift your phone? I've been calling you since"

"Sorry sir my phone is silent, so it doesn't sound"

"Oh. You don't want to get a call from the clouds? why is it installed silent mode?"

I just smiled wryly, "i'm also doing a lot of work"

"Your work is done, let's go home now"

"But Sir..."

"Come Lika, I've come a long way to pick you up here, cook you must reject me"

I can't bear to continue rejecting Mr. Andre, even though he has always been good to me. There is no harm if I am more friendly with him anyway we do not do things that violate the existing norms.

"Alright sir, I'll take the bag first"

Actually there is no intention to use Mr. Andre as a tool to reject the Clouds. But right now this is all I have to get the Clouds away from me.

"Lika" said Mr. Andre when we were in his car.

"Yes Sir"

"I know that right now your heart belongs to the Clouds"

I was downcast to hear what I just said by Mr. Andre, it is true that my love for the Clouds is still the same as before. Although I already knew that Laura was pregnant with Awan's child. I don't know why the more I try to forget it the more I want to be with him. That would never happen even if the Cloud wanted me to be with him. I don't want to take over the happiness of Awan and Laura's children.

"But at least let me be your friend" said Mr. Andre "you need not hesitate anymore to me, considering that at this time I am no longer your boss. We can be friends just like you are friends with Tina. I'm also willing to help you whenever you need my help"

"Thank you sir, you've been so kind to me. All this time I was always trying to avoid my father. Actually, I want to be a friend of Mr. Andre from a long time ago if you were not my boss"

"I know Lika, actually you don't have to feel that way even though I'm your boss"

"Sorry Sir"

"So now you want to be friends with me?" said smile.

"I'll try Sir"

"Who would like to try" he said disappointed.

"I don't want people to think a no-no about me and Dad"

"You don't have to think about other people, you just prove to others you can work well not because of me. Because I'm so confident in your abilities" it seems Mr. Andre just convinced me. If I don't have to worry about being friends with him as long as I can account for all my work well.

I can't comment on anything right now, but I'm sure Mr. Andre already knows that I've started to open up to being a friend to him.

"We eat first yes, I'm hungry" said Mr. Andre "all of us celebrate that from today we are friends"

Back I can only smile, to respond to Mr. Andre's invitation.
