He's so hungry he can eat an elephant now. He checked his watch and realized that he had waited 20 minutes until his brother-in-law came to bring him his lunch.

He knew it was childish and embarrassing to ask for food, but he was hungry. His stomach began to rumble nonstop.

"Fuck, what took him so long ?!" Marco got up from the chair because he was impatient. She was ready to scold Catherine for taking too long to heat her lunch. He slammed the door open, alerting all the staff who were busy working.

They stared at their CEO, and their bodies instantly stiffened. Because the eyes are like Mr. eagle. Phoenix Sebastian glared at everyone around him. They felt thin air as it was difficult to breathe under such intimidation. At this point, even a drop of pencil would be heard all over the floor.

While everyone was silent, a scream was followed by the scream of a woman from the pantry;

"DON'T TOUCH ME!"

Marco's eyes darkened, and his pupils thinned as soon as he heard the familiar voice of a woman coming from the pantry. He was happy to go to the pantry to see what happened.

There, she sees her sister-in-law cornered by two— men whom she recognizes as her staff.

The male staff was stunned as Catherine suddenly shouted. He hasn't even touched it!

She gritted her teeth as she lost her patience with this woman, "You really pissed me off. Do you want to be framed on your first day!? I can do it if I want!"

"Who's being framed?"

The two male staff heard a deep and threatening voice behind them. They turned around in unison and saw their CEO, Marco Phoenix Sebastian standing tall. His gaze was already intimidating enough, but their male staff felt that they were facing an actual demon this time around.

Marco doesn't really know the true story behind this, but when he sees his sister-in-law cornered and trembling in fear, his pulse puffs up, and he gripped the necks of the two men in less than a second.

"ACK!"

"UCK!"

Marco's movements were so fast that the two male staff had no time to react. They can't breathe because Marco is choking them mercilessly. They try to break away with thrashing, and Marco finds both troublesome.

He lifted the two until their feet did not touch the ground. They were at the mercy of Lord Phoenix Sebastian at this moment.

"Listen, everybody, I don't care what you do in the office. But I will not tolerate laziness. Look at these two bastards trying to hit my second secretary," Marco said as he looked back. When he saw her pale face, his jaw clenched, and he slammed the two men onto the floor.

"ARGHH!"

"URGHY!"

The two male staff felt such excruciating pain in their backs that they mistook Mr. Phoenix Sebastian has broken their ribs and backbones.

Marco kicked them in the stomach and said, "You're both fired."

The two staff were surprised. They stared at their CEO while enduring the pain in their bodies, "B—Bos, k—we are division supervisors! K—You can't just fire us!"

"Who said I couldn't?" Marco chuckles. He kicked their chests until their painful screams echoed in the office. "I'm the boss here, remember?"

"K—We can sue you for attacking us! Your reputation will be ruined if people find out about this!"

Catherine finally snapped out of her daze once she heard the two male staff were about to sue Marco for attacking them. He was scared before, but there was no way he was bringing trouble to Marco.

He is busy with his life, and he does not want to be a hindrance to his successful career.

Therefore, Catherine gently tied Marco's arm with her trembling hand. He wants to prevent Marco from ruining his career only for women like him; he wants to;

"M—Marco, I. Let them go."

Marco looks back, and his anger explodes when he thinks Catherine is trying to protect these two bastards even after what they did to him.

"YOU STUPID WOMAN, GO TO MY OFFICE!"

Loud collective gasps rang out as Mr. Phoenix Sebastian suddenly shouted at this woman he was carrying. Other staff thought he was protecting her — which they thought was special at the moment for Mr Phoenix Sebastian.

Instead, he yelled at her and called her stupid.

But this is Marco Phoenix Sebastian they're talking about. All the staff knew that Mr. Phoenix Sebastian was very competent in his work. But he is hard to read and has a bad mood swings, making him less likely to attack anyone he meets.

Catherine's back immediately bowed. He lowered his head and looked even more frightened than before under Marco's fury.

This frustrated Marco even more, and he shouted again, "WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? TO MY OFFICE!"

Catherine ran past him. He gave her a last look back before entering Marco's office on this floor and closing the door. He had no idea what Marco would do to those people and what he would do if those people really demanded it.

'I hope it's not too bad. I need to talk to her after this, ' Catherine thought.

After Catherine left, Marco stepped on the two men and asked, "So you two want to sue me? I want to see you guys try it."

Marco's eyes swept over the line of staff watching in fear, "If any of you want to sue me for this, you can give it a try. I want to have a little entertainment on the sidelines of my busy life here."

Everyone said nothing as they tried to avoid Mr.'s eyes. Phoenix Sebastian when he saw them one by one. To be honest, they are enjoying their work now, Mr. Phoenix Sebastian is a competent boss, and he pays them fairly, even with a bonus when they do a good job.

So most of them are used to his crazy behavior and tolerate whatever he does, as long as they do their job and get paid handsomely.

Marco chuckled, "I will tell Diamond to promote others to replace the two. You can sue me if you want. Make sure you set up a good lawyer, or you'll experience hell on earth."

"And all of you, go back to your study! It's not lunch break yet!" he shouted at the other staff, and they brushed back to their seats, not wanting to get into the bad side of their Boss.

Marco was about to leave, but then he smelled a delicious aroma from the microwave. He opened it and salivated when he saw the food that was supposed to be his lunch.

Marco took out a plate from the microwave and took out two small cartons of banana milk. He tried to hide it from ordinary sight because he was too embarrassed to be shown holding this childish item.

So he stuffed the banana milk into his pants pocket and rushed into the office, ignoring the two men lying on the floor, grimacing in pain from having just been beaten by Mr. Phoenix Sebastian.

Marco opened his office door and saw Catherine standing restlessly in the middle of the room. He seemed to be waiting for her.

"Marco, I—"

"Silent. I have to have lunch first!" Marco interjected before Catherine could express her concern.

He shuts his mouth and notices as Marco walks over to the chair and prepares his own mini-lunch table, and begins to eat lunch in silence.

Catherine stood still, waiting for him until he was done. But she ate very slowly, enjoying the food her sister-in-law cooked one by one until she was satisfied.

He drank the last box of banana milk before wiping his lips. He directed his gaze to his brother-in-law, who had been standing like an idiot in front of him for a while.

He was in a good mood after lunch. Maybe he was very hungry, so he was irritable and acted, "What do you want to say?"

"Um... Marco, a—what did you do to those people? Are they okay?" Catherine asked carefully.

Marco squeezed the empty milk carton as his gaze sharpened towards his sister-in-law, "Why are you asking?"

"I'm— I just thought you shouldn't hurt them too much…."

"And what makes you think you can control me?" Marco asked. He was in a good mood for a few seconds before his brother-in-law ruined him. This woman always had a way of upsetting him.
