Chapter 23 - Adelyn kidnapped 1

Alice is out of the hospital today.

Seeing his condition, the doctor called him to advise Alice to see a psychiatrist, the doctor was worried about the condition of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) that would be experienced by prospective mothers after miscarriage.

When he got to the door of his apartment he felt the shadow that followed him getting closer. Adelyn started to panic looking for the keys to the apartment. He stirred his bag, then his finger touched the end of the key, hastily swiped Adelyn key then quickly entered and locked the door from the inside.

His heart was still pounding, he took a breath of gasp, while calming down he thought who they were? Was it just his feelings or was there really someone following him? What do they want?

Entering the bathroom, he wanted to soak while relaxing for a moment. Adelyn lighted the candle aroma therapy to make her mind more focused and calm.

He must have fallen asleep while soaking earlier. When it came out, the water was cold. His head feels heavy. Adelyn made her way to her bedroom when her apartment doorbell rang.

While thinking who visited him this night. He saw a clock on the wall showing time at 7 p.m. He rarely received guests, especially at night as he thought. He furrowed his brows and peeked through the gap of the door. There was no one, the sound of hp ringing could be heard from inside his room.

Adelyn quickly ran to the room and saw Jovan calling her.

"Hello?"

"Hi Adelyn, do you have free time tomorrow afternoon? I want to take you to lunch together."

The bell rang again, Adelyn walked out of her room holding her phone and then she saw the door lock of her apartment turned from outside. He panicked and said to Jovan, "Oh no, it looks like someone broke into my apartment."

"Who?" Jovan confusedly asked.

Adelyn heard footsteps approaching. He peeked through the door of his room. Two large men were standing in the living room.

"Listen, Jovan, it seems like someone's been following me for a few days. He's now getting into the ap...."

I heard Adelyn's scream.

Braaakk! hp fell out of his hand.

"Adely! Are you okay? I'll go straight there!"

Jovan who was driving his car was about to go home immediately turned back to Adelyn's apartment. He stepped on the gas pedal inside. What happened to Adelyn?

He kept calling Adelyn's phone. Stuck but no one raised. Jovan contacted police acquaintances who were the head of the criminal section in the city of N.

Arriving at his apartment he and some apartment security went up to Adelyn's apartment unit. The door to her apartment was open, but Adelyn was not there.

Jovan checked all the cctv around the apartment, some security cameras around the apartment were tampered with 30 minutes to an hour before the incident. Apparently the man who kidnapped Adelyn was a professional organized criminal. They have prepared everything.

Jovan and the apartment security guards searched the area around Adelyn. The criminal left no trace of it.

Jovan calls several numbers and rallies his trusted confidant to look for Adelyn's whereabouts.

Adelyn slowly heard some voices around her talking. Apparently he was drugged when they caught him.

He heard their conversation

"Very pretty. I think we're lucky this time." Adelyn felt someone touch her chin, loosening her face up.

"It's good that you're sober, I'd rather get a response when we're having fun in a minute."

Adelyn knew what he meant. He struggled not to panic. Adelyn thought about finding a chance.

His hands were tied with duct tape glue very tight, and he was seated on a chair with his legs tied to the legs of a chair

"Who are you? What do you want."

"You don't need to know who we are."

"What do you want,"

"We'll have fun of course. You're gonna love it."

"Yes, have fun first, then we'll kill you." Friend chimed.

Killed her? Who wants to kill me? Are they Alice's or Elisabeth's men?

"Who told you to?"

Adelyn thinks they're being paid to kill her. He wanted to know who told them.

"We don't mention the name of my dear. He certainly doesn't like your existence. We're here to help him a little." While smiling. Her friend laughed at her words that were not funny at all.

Adelyn looked around there were 8 men. The biggest man was the one who spoke to him just now. Then there are 3 other fairly sturdy flat. His brain turned around looking for an opportunity.

He looked around where he was held. Looks like an old unused barn. But there are some furniture, it looks like the villain lives here he thought.

"How much did he pay you? I'll pay triple!" Adelyn tried to buy time while looking for a way.

"Haha.it's not a matter of money, it's a matter of trust." Being in this business, of course, there must be mutual trust. How will he get a customer if he sells his own boss.

He felt that this girl was quite brave, still thinking of negotiating with him. Usually other girls are already crying and hysterical at this time.

He began to untie his legs, and pulled Adelyn to walk to the small bed there and threw her on the bed.

The bed feels damp and muddy. Adelyn felt like she was going to vomit.

Adelyn closed her eyes. He began to panic about what to do.

Adelyn felt sick of glaring at the man.

"Get your fucking hands off!" edgar's voice held back his anger.

He was standing there listening for a while. He waited for the criminals to name the man who told him to kidnap Adelyn. But apparently they were smart enough not to mention a single name.

Adelyn saw Edgar standing there with one more man. He did not know the person, but his face looked familiar, it seemed like they had crossed each other a number of times.

The group of criminals looked shocked. How did anyone else enter their base.

"Take him off now! Otherwise you'll regret it." Edgar's way over.

One of them pulled out a knife and placed it on Adelyn's neck. Edgar stopped in place.

"Go one more step, then you'll see us cut his neck."

"Don't touch her."

"Catch and tie them!"
