Chapter 2 - the Past

"Be my girlfriend." 

Edgar aligns his steps with Adelyn's walking pace towards the bus stop after school.

"No way."

"Why?"

"Why do you mean that? And stop bothering me." 

"Then be my girlfriend, I guarantee no one will dare to bother you anymore." She smiled sweetly.

Gosh darn.. When did I say yes? Edgar was just about to ask the girl's name, but Adelyn hurriedly tidied up her provisions and got up straight running back to class.

After the incident, the search for Adelyn's class began by Edgar. He thought he had never seen the girl before, it must be a 1st grade child. Edgar was in 3rd grade at the time.

Adelyn threw her hand out of Edgar's grip. "Stay away from me, you're just making me harder." Not only are they bothering me, almost half of the girls at school are always bothering me and looking for trouble with me, all because of your silly actions in front of everyone. I got the gum, huh!

Adelyn looked at him unhappily and turned back to the classroom when suddenly Edgar's hand was on his shoulder and forced Adelyn to sit on the bench of the park, then look at her bruised cheeks and her slightly torn lips. Edgar was very angry to see it.

He began to spread an announcement that anyone who dared to touch Adelyn would confront him. Dealing indirectly of course, because he does not like to deal with girls. He will give the name of the person who has been bothering Adelyn to the gang leader Girlz Squad. They'll take care of it
