Chapter 1 - - The Meeting returns

"Adelyn.."

Riri's screams were submerged in the sounds of the crowd around her, but Adelyn heard and turned her head to look for the voice of her trusted female assistant and her best friend. 

Riri pulled Adelyn's hand, looked for a rather quiet place to be and said

"Sorry Del, there has been a mistake. It turns out that the company behind this is a subsidiary of the company Grand Cipta Prakarsa. They were really good at hiding all this information. Sorry, we shouldn't have accepted this contract."

Riri explained with a sorry face. She knew Adelyn was trying to avoid the company Grand Cipta Prakarsa, and all the companies she was connected to. In fact they have turned down some business tenders with some of those subsidiaries.

Hearing Riri's explanation, Adelyn hurriedly walked towards the entrance of the yacht, but too late the ship had already started moving away from the port. The entrance is closed, there is no other way but to continue the journey as scheduled.

"We met in Ri's room, rearranged the meeting and the appointment with XX's company." 

After giving instructions to Riri, Adelyn went first, not realizing there was a pair of eyes following her movements since she boarded the ship.

Adelyn thought of borrowing a helicopter belonging to Hans partner at her company to pick her up now.

Edgar saw Adelyn as a trapped rat, trying to find a way out while glancing up to find the location of the helipad he had seen when he climbed earlier.

"Free, no one can use a helipad without my permission."

Suddenly there was a familiar man's voice near Adelyn's ear. 

Suddenly he looked at the man he had avoided for 5 years. Seeing the man directly make his feelings miserable, he still could not forgive his actions. Unable to forget the pain, Adelyn still felt anger in her heart.

Adelyn pursed her lips while saying annoyed

"What's the reason?"

"There's no excuse."

So arrogant. He did not change one bit, still just as arrogant and careless, hmm it seems like it is getting worse even Adelyn thought in her heart

"I'll rearrange the agreement with company XX."

Adelyn turned around, wanting to quickly end their meeting. He didn't want to linger with Edgar. The less contact he had, the better he thought.

Edgar pulled his hand "Nothing has changed, you can't change anything unilaterally or you bear the consequences."

Sure enough, he had planned it. And the company he's working with has something to do with this guy who's pulling his hand.

Turn around with a smile forced "What do you want?"

"You." Answer Edgar briefly.

Wh why? After all he's been through, why meet him now. It was normal, and Adelyn thought about rearranging her life. 

Next month she's getting married to her boyfriend Tommy this year. Preparation for the wedding has been completed all, just waiting for his H day.

Even Adelyn thought her heart would accept Tommy as her life partner. 

But why his heart thump is not because this once met him. 

Adelyn felt her cheeks warm hearing Edgar's words earlier.

Aarghgh.. Why can do that so easily, why hearing a word of his can make me upset and flattered like this.

"Meet me in the meeting room in 15 minutes." Edgar passed towards the upper deck, the ship's captain's room to speak with the ship's captain as well as give some instructions

I can't use the helipad. This yacht must also be one of his company's. He's going to take a cruise ship

belong to another company? Either the company has now penetrated into any sector, but certainly now the company Grand Cipta Prakarsa more successful, even after mastering the construction field in Asia, the company is now, now it is starting to penetrate into the hospitality and tourism sector

Meetings in 15 minutes!! What can I do in 15 minutes Adelyn grumbled. He thought about what Edgar was going to talk about in the conference room. How do you prepare for this sudden meeting? When she shook, Adelyn saw Riri's name on her phone screen

Riri's voice was regretful and apologized

"It's okay, you please just prepare all the materials for the meeting later tonight. Set it as the original plan." Answer Adelyn.

Nothing will change, Adelyn tries to convince herself. I'm getting married next month, I've made a strong case for Tommy.

Adelyn only thought about quickly completing the contract, and distanced herself from everything related to Edgar forever.

Adelyn had already arrived at the meeting room inside the ship which was on the 12th floor. He knocked on the door 2 times and went straight in

Edgar had been waiting while standing behind him looking at the wide sea view that lay in front of the window.

"The contract mentions that your company handles the interior design of our company's new hotel in the city of S. And also the interior design of the new house I just built not far from the location of the hotel." 

"My assistant has prepared the data and design. It will be explained at the meeting later tonight." Adelyn replied as she looked back at her back.

Edgar turned his body and looked at Adelyn 

"Come back to me Adelyn.."

"I'm sorry if no one wants to talk about it. I'm going back to my room now."

Adelyn tried to avoid

Edgar grabbed Adelyn's body and kissed her lips in a demanding manner. Trying to figure out Adelyn's feelings through her touch.

Adelyn closed her eyes and her lips trembled, why was she still able to tear apart my feelings like this. After what he did, after a long time apart from her it did not melt Adelyn's body's natural reaction to her.

Edgar who sensed Adelyn's reaction smiled faintly, feeling like he had found the most precious treasure he had expected all along. Adelyn regained consciousness and tried to escape from him.

"You know I'm getting married next month. Nothing's gonna change how I feel about Tommy. Please don't bother my life anymore."

Adelyn said with trembling lips. Being in her arms like this made Adelyn nervous.

Edgar clenched his arms around Adelyn's waist, as if he would never take them off again.

He enjoyed his closeness to Adelyn, faintly smelling from the body, the same fragrance unchanged. The smell of the flower was like in his memory, the scent he had always longed for.

"I still hold the vow I mentioned when we were first together, and it won't change. Believe it.."

"You told me to believe after what you did. That's so funny!!"

Adelyn threw Edgar's hand and ran out of the meeting room. Heading to his room.

What does it mean to say that. Why is my heart beating so fast? Adelyn stopped running in the corner of the deserted ship and held her chest trying to catch her breath and ease the turmoil in her chest.

He hasn't changed one bit. No, he's even more handsome now. Arghh.. Why is my mind soaring

You won't be able to run Adelyn again, I won't let you go again

Edgar took the phone in his pocket and called no Bram his assistant gave the order

"Done his girlfriend's business now, give her some compensation money. Make an agreement so she doesn't call Adelyn again. Destroy him if he breaks the agreement."

"Good sir."
