Relina took a deep breath then said, “if I don't miss, would you not want to see me?”
Silent.
“Alright, I don't miss you.” After saying so, Relina hung up her phone. Along with the pain in his heart, he tried to see the extent of Junda's efforts this time. Will it be the same as when he is so passionate about having it, or will return to release it.
Relina felt her nose suddenly itch and her eyes warm up due to the water coming out.. It was like missing someone who didn't miss him.
“Erwin,” call Relina while pulling up a chair and return to resume her lunch.
“Iya, Ma'am,” Erwin replied while looking at Relina stirring her food.
“About, where is the Jun family tomb ... I mean Mr Junda?”
“Maybe at a regular public funeral, ma'am. As far as I know, his mother Pak Junda was also buried in a public cemetery.”
“Set time, we get there asap.”
“Good, Bu.”
Relina did not show a meaningful reaction even though she was actually muffling the taste turmoil in her chest. Dja does not want to regret having taken pains to strengthen the heart to love Junda and accept with airy chest, all its shortcomings such as a rigid and forced character.
Although, what he felt now was like scooping the sand and throwing it back, but the beautiful memories that once existed could not be forgotten just like that. Time can help disguise memories of a relationship with someone, but it will not be able to erase their tracks perfectly.
*****
Junda was standing next to his grandmother's grave, still wet, while putting a bunch of white roses Shasi's favorite is still fresh. She knew her late grandmother loved white roses and jasmine, flowers thought to have a high mystical element.
The man looked at the sky that was starting to scorch alternately by staring at the tombstone. As if he was praying, his face showed a feeling that he was not willing, even though today was the second day Shasi was buried. He was like heavy to leave the tomb, until he came back again and again. He had been standing there for a few hours.
All his relatives, brothers and father had returned to their respective homes, until he felt lonely. He hoped to be in this tomb, as if he was still with Shasi.
Yesterday after Junda contacted Relina and the phone suddenly ended, she wanted to call him back because she was not satisfied with the answer saying that the girl did not miss him.
Honestly, he wanted to get angry, then tell her his true feelings, but someone called him and told him that the body was ready to be buried. He also denied his desire to contact Relina.
At night he forgot where to put the phone, until a day later his HP was found, in a state of power failure. He failed to contact Relina.
Today, the day is near noon and Junda is still on his side, sometimes sitting between the graves of his grandmother and mother. Two women who have been instrumental in his life.
Junda did not realize if someone carrying a bouquet of flowers, with a step slowly approaching it, or rather Relina was on a pilgrimage to Shasi's tomb and did not expect, would see Junda there.
Relina sighed a few times trying to calm her heart and paused for a moment as her steps suddenly trembled. The feeling is so sad and poignant, seeing men who used to be so arrogant and forced now like withered leaves and no longer bright in color.
Fresh flowers he sprinkled on the tomb and a bunch of roses he put on the navel after Relina was on the side of the tomb, precisely in front of Junda.
The girl wore long clothes as usual complete with a black scarf that completes her appearance showing condolence.
In a lowered state he indulged some prayers, so that the late Shasi, calm in nature there.
He had not dared to look at Junda since his appearance. While Junda's gaze continued towards him.
Inwardly Relina said, 'Is she okay?’
Relina's face remained down, until she finished praying and after her heart had completely calmed down, she slowly stood up.
“You, here?” It was the voice of Junda, who used to say aloud to him, now heard a little hoarse hinting at the silence in an uninhabited cave.
Relina nodded with her face still bowed towards the tombstone. Then back to sleep.
After a few minutes passed, Relina ventured to look at Juanda, she raised her face. Then, their two eyes clashed against each other looking at the waves, which were enormous and turned the surrounding air into a tide, with a lot of emotion in them.
“Are you okay?” asked Relina and Junda nodded.
“You? How are you?” ask Junda later.
“I'm good,” replied Relina with a smile.
He deliberately took the time before lunch to come to the tomb. Yesterday, after Relina finished reviewing the project, there was work she had to complete at the office, so she canceled plans to visit Junda's house. He just wanted to make sure that Junda was okay.
Fuad suddenly went to Jakarta to see his son sick, so the office business was entrusted to Erwin and Relina. Fuad only found out that his son and Icha were often sickly because they had heart defects from birth. Knowing this, Relina as Icha's best friend can only pray for the child to return as usual.
In between his busy life, Relina asked Erwin to take the time to make a pilgrimage, after knowing where Grandma Junda was buried. Now, he meets Junda, that's out of his plan.
Junda looked at Relina without speaking. She begins to feel in love with the girl when she experiences an incident in the elevator of Hotel Salak. His heart was suddenly filled with a stifling feeling. Then he tried to get close to Relina, even though in his heart there was a war, between giving up his grandmother's trust or pursuing her love.
She is determined to pursue her love for Relina and ignore the trust of her grandmother, the woman who took care of her. Although his heart is not hearty, he finally honestly tells Shasi that he loves a girl and hopes the myth does not happen.
After Junda's determination was perfect, he declared sincerely, about his feelings, to Relina, and waited to answer her.
Relina finally answered and will return her love, but Junda was disappointed when reading a writing in the diary. The man was so offended by the words save Junda and thought the woman was underestimating him.
Ego Junda as a man was hurt, if you do not have any relationship, Relina has dared to underestimate herself, especially when they have a relationship later, he thought.
The death of Shasi and the arrival of Relina to his house, made his heart re-ignited with emotion. He did not know how Relina could be in the funeral home, but he did not tell her.
Junda did not know what he should do, his heart was in a dilemma between shedding longings that always tormented or drove him away.
Moments after Relina leaves her home, Junda contacts her because she finds her longing is bigger than her ego. From that short phone conversation he finally knew that Relina only had a simple wish, even more sincere than he thought. The woman was willing to sacrifice for her!
Junda's heart was deeply saddened to understand the fact that he could not work with Relina, but he wanted to get involved in the project to handle it together and ease the burden on the woman he loved.
Relin, at first, had no feelings for Junda, since the first time they met, when they were working in the same building. He only had a feeling of awe, yet that feeling was well stored in his heart.
His feelings were made up when he looked directly into Junda's eyes, at a market, when there was an incident with the old mother. The look of the eyes seemed to suck his feelings into Junda, so he could not turn away. From that moment on he had a taste for her.
Various problems arise between them, so that Relina sees the struggle of Junda, who repeatedly uses coercion tricks to approach him, even a lot of reasons just because he wants to be with her.
Relina is sometimes upset but still smiles because there is happiness with her until then she established herself to love Junda because she had helped him a lot while at Martapura.
But he was surprised when Junda refused him just because of the words in the diary, which offended him.
Shasi's death this time, bringing Relina back to him, he was eager to hug and spill the longing, but Junda still looked at him one eye, not even impressed to appreciate it.
Currently they meet at a public cemetery that seems cool, calm and peaceful. There are several kinds of flowers and trees that are shady, but not impressed creepy. Along the eye of the eye to see is a stretch of green grass interspersed with gravestones arranged neatly and beautifully.
They stood facing each other and Shasi's tomb was between them. Junda's mother was buried in the same place, right next to Shasi's tomb was located.
“This is my mother's grave.” Suddenly Junda opened his mouth to speak and Relina silently listened. The woman did not expect that Junda would say that to her.
“I couldn't see my mother's body.” Junda said without burden as if saying ordinary light things, even though his words were able to make Relina astonished.
‘Why?’ inner Relina.
Junda also told briefly about the death of his mother. He just wanted Relina to hear it, like she was talking to a very trusted person to keep a secret.
“Look, they are now buried together here, I hope they are fine,” said Junda, who told him of his life without being asked, all launching out of his mouth.
While Relina heard while looking at Junda in astonishment.
Junda needed a place to tell stories, other than his father. When he saw Relina coming with flowers, even without looking at her, he already felt quite a strong rumble in his mind. He was moved and his hands clenched firmly, restraining himself from hastily pulling that skinny body in his arms.
“I'm sorry I was able to make a pilgrimage today.” Relina said as she fixed the position of her shawl, after quite a long silence.
“No problem .. I know you are busy, no one makes you come or not,” said Junda.
Relina judged that Junda's words seemed foolish, did not expect her presence, still did not appreciate it. Sometimes people don't know how to value themselves so they can't respect others.
“Are you okay?” relina said, repeating the same question.
Junda's appearance is like a person who does not take care of himself and looks not okay. Junda misses Relina very much, but it is the feeling of prestige that causes her to behave like this.
Juanda glanced at him and thinned his lips, like a straight line, looking disheveled and lethargic.
Then he said, “Do you think I look okay? Why do you ask, do you care about me?”
“Yes. Of course, I care about you.”
“You still think I'm a worthy person to help?”
“Please in what way?”
“I don't know.” Junda said tightly while turning his face away.
While Erwin came closer carrying an umbrella, then stood near Relina and sheltered her.
“Thank you.” Relina received the umbrella, gratefully. Then back said, “Leave us here.”
Erwin left, after glancing at Junda who also glanced at him. He's a caring assistant, in this hot moment he brings something that can protect.
It's lunchtime and they're still between the tombs. While the junda does not feel anything, even though the heat of the sun seems to burn the body. All because of his frozen heart, so for him the atmosphere became cold.
Junda smiled ridiculing himself. Feeling insignificant because there was another man who was now always there for Relina. He thought about his former mistake of always forcing Relina. He should have behaved sweeter.
“What does all this still have to do with the diary? You still mad because of that?”
Junda. His eyes didn't care to look here. Actually not angry, just do not accept if Relina judges him a weak man, that's all.
“Junda, didn't I ever say that writing has nothing to do with underestimating you! There is no harm in someone wanting to help others, and it is okay to ask others for help. You should not be offended if you are not a weak person. Unless you yourself admit that you are weak?”
Relina walked around the tomb and approached Junda, waiting for her umbrella to shade them.
“Aoa you still want to be here? Come have lunch with me!” relina.
Junda silently did not answer Relina's invitation, but her hands stretched out to carry her body into her arms. Relina's one hand was raised to rub her back.
“Let me have you, just for a moment,” said Junda but it was not a moment, but a very long and deep embrace.
“You ever said, if you want to marry me?” asked Junda again still hugging Relina even put her head on her shoulders and her nose stuck to the curve of her neck.
Relina nodded, “Hmm ..” muttered.
“Alright, let's get married ...”
