The Meeting That Determines

While in the car Relina was silent, while Gunara repeatedly glanced at him, he was happy to be with his beloved friend. He used to like it, now it is still the same, but the circumstances forced them to separate, they did not give each other news until graduation was over.

He had the intention to express his feelings when Relina finished her college, hoping that the girl would have the same feelings for him. However, he has not seen each other since his last semester.

The path of fate that can never be guessed, who would expect to meet again with Relina in this city. Gunara also promised herself that she would spend more time with him, as now, telling Relina to the office was a joy for her.

"What's your agenda today?" Gunara asked Relina without looking to the side and focusing on driving. The girl looked very nervous. He feels guilty for Gunara and fears that there will be misunderstandings between him, Gunara and Junda.

"Meeting with the Leader," Relina said quickly.

"Who's your boss, who knows I know" asked Gunara again.

"Sir Fuad, he's the office manager, I'm his assistant."

"Oh yeah? I heard the assistant died."

"Yes." Yeah."

"I know he's good, you're lucky."

"Where, Gun, can you tell?" Relina was astonished, she said while facing Gunara.

"I happen to know them." The man said with a friendly smile to her.

Seeing Gunara smiling kindly, to Relina was like a soothing grace. But Gunara's attitude like this actually makes Relina feel more guilty.

He works in a region of people, with difficult experiences, he does not want to get involved in personal problems with anyone. Especially about love, he avoids it as much as possible, so that his life is not more complicated.

When he was in college and no longer getting news about Gunara, he was really disappointed, but he tried to forget about it, keeping his hopes on the trail of the lost rainbow.

Then he wandered, not expecting to see Gunara again. He had already forgotten about it, but who would have expected fate to drag him this far just to see it, when he was no longer hopeful.

The struggle to get to this place is not easy until he has the intention to get married, if he can make his mother happy.

It did not feel nearly half an hour drive, finally they arrived in the courtyard of the building where Relina worked.

"We're here, we're on time! So it's not too late" Gunara said as she pulled her car over the shoulder of the road.

"Sir Gun wants to work too. Must be the boss?" Relina asked as she opened the car door. Gunara hasn't talked about anything about her work.

They agreed to attend a meeting in a meeting room of one of the hotels not far from the Gunara company. It so happened that they arrived at about the same time, making them walk together, after shaking hands with each other. Junda glanced at Relina as well as at the girl until their eyes inadvertently clashed.

Suddenly Relina's heart raced faster and made her footsteps awkward. She was not a stage fright woman, she was mentally strong and spoke in public, but because of Junda's gaze or her heartbeat, she became nervous.

As they passed through the lobby and were about to turn towards the meeting room, suddenly a female voice screamed loudly from the top of the stairs. The stairs were not far from where the small group was. Everyone looked up at the same time, as did Relina. When he looked up in a nervous state, he lost his balance, so he fell and his body accidentally hit Junda who was beside him, to be pushed to the side next to him.

Their bodies crammed together, clinging to the wall, their position was almost like a hug. At the same time, an object fell right on their side. It was a ceramic mug that was then blown to pieces on the floor.

A careless servant dropped the heavy object as he climbed the stairs.

Instantly all buying eyes saw the incident that lasted only a few seconds, without being expected. If Junda is still in the same position as before, maybe his head has been bumped because it was hit by an object that fell from above them.

"You?!" Junda said with a low voice. For a moment his body stiffened and stiffened, not expecting it to be this close to Relina.

Relina spontaneously straightened her body, saying, "Sorry, sir. Sorry... I accidentally," and then re-wipe her clothes.

The man also immediately stood straight back up, and tidied up his still-groomed clothes, without turning his eyes away from Relina, cynical.

"Sorry, Sir. Sorry ..." Once again the girl begged to be forgiven, while changing both palms. His face reddened and warmed up as if he wanted to repeat the day from the beginning again, so that all these embarrassing things never happened.

Junda was silent, did not answer and walked while turning his face, then sat on one of the chairs that had been provided for him. The other members of the meeting followed, only Relina entered at the very end and sat next to Fuad. He kept his head down because the shame was still lodged in his heart.

The meeting room was quite spacious with an oval-shaped table in the middle, soft chairs arranged around the table with small low flower decorations on the left and right sides. Each chair has its own microphone. All seats are full according to the number of participants. Junda and Relina sat a little far apart.

"Here you go, relax" said Fuad. Seeing the awkward Relina. "You didn't accidentally, did you? So, no need to be ashamed, you're not wrong, really." He understood that his assistant was very ashamed of the incident he had just experienced.

While a fat man in a white coat enters the room, Fuad explains to Relina that the person who just arrived was their director, Galuh. Hearing Fuad's explanation, Relina nodded, a sign of understanding.

Meetings began and one by one conveyed the ideas that would be mutually agreed upon. Until at the end of the event, when all had understood the decision, Galuh smiled and looked at Junda. He is the chairman of today's meeting.

Then the man in black said, "How, Mr Junda? We hope that in the future we can continue our cooperation."

Junda smiled back at Galuh, nodding, saying, "may I apply one condition, only?"

"Of course, if we can fulfill it, we will. Please tell me what your terms are." Galuh said with complete confidence.

"I'm not asking for a difficult intercession ..." Junda paused for a moment and turned to Relina. "Fired him!" he said, pointing at Relina with the pen she was holding, accompanied by a cynical smile.

All eyes were on Relina who realized no one would support her, under these circumstances, making the girl want to cry right then and there.
