Relina put herself on the bed, after finishing her bath and changing clothes. He who lived alone, felt that the night was quieter than usual, either because it was triggered by his mood that had just been hurt, or because of the drizzle that descended suddenly.
His eyes were soaring up in the white sky, while his mind was glaring far away. He still remembers Junda's words, to forget the relationship and everything about them, even rejecting his invitation to get married. The hope and belief that they could live together, without worrying about the misfortune of a mythical sign, seemed useless.
Tears fell slowly without being asked, as Relina tried to close her eyes, casting off Junda's shadow as she left, she was like an unreachable sky, like an untouchable air.
The sound of Relina's cell phone ringing, disperse the daydream, make her wake up and reach for the mobile phone on the small table. He looked at the lit screen, Ane—sahabat Relina, suddenly made a video call.
Relina's face looked slightly excited and her lips smiled as they were comforted and Ane's voice succeeded in making her lonely room disappear.
After asking each other the news suddenly Ane asked, “How is your relationship with Junda?”
Relina asked back, “How are you related to Dion?”
From across the phone, Ane feels that, perhaps, Relina is reluctant to tell her about her relationship. Of course as a friend, he understood and chose to tell how his experience was, after he decided to accept Dion's offer and work as his secretary.
Ane had asked for consideration from Relina at that time and as a friend, he also suggested to accept an offer that he thought was very good. Not everyone else will get the same offer. Not taking long to think, Ane finally left her old job and worked in Dion's office until now.
Relina's best friend did not expect that she would feel happier than before. How not? I get to see Alex every day. Dion's son was getting closer and spoiled to her. She worked more as Alex's nanny than she did in her office.
However, it was not a problem for Dion, as long as Ane did not feel any objection to babysitting. Almost every day the little boy comes to the office after school and does not want to be at home, just because he wants to play with Ane who he already considers as his mother.
“So, you are now called, mama?” Relina asked with a small laugh. “Why not be his papa wife?”
“Haiss. Not necessarily Mr. Dion likes me,” said Ane showing a sullen face on the screen of Relina's phone.
“I guess she likes, even love!”
Ane looked pondering, she was currently still trying to convince her feelings for Dion. Many times the man gave her a gift without cause, teaching her how to drive a car so that she could take Alex to school. The little boy always refused when Dion sent a private driver because he was busy, his son, was always afraid and thought he would be kidnapped.
In addition, lately Dion has always talked about couples, or invite Ane to the wedding party of friends, relations, or relatives. He always introduces her as a friend but afterwards he will ask the brides and some of the people he met at the party to mendo’nya to follow soon.
Ane did not understand Dion's intentions, whenever he asked others to pray for him to get a mate quickly, the man always glanced at him.
“Alright then, think again about Dion, who knows you are his match .. so I'll connect Alex. Dion has been kind to you, entrusting his favorite child, even you are free to use his car at any time. Yes, right?”
Relina still reminds him of all the material goodness of Dion to his best friend, though, he knows that kindness is not just a matter of possessions. The feeling that Dion gave Ane was a great gift, he said.
Ane seemed to be nodding and suddenly she smiled widely, then asked, “what do you know, Rel?”
“Know what?”
“Tanda owned by Junda? Our former boss?”
Ane just remembered, about his conversation with Dion some time ago, when they accidentally discussed the relationship of Junda and Relina. According to Dion, their relationship will be difficult because it is hindered by myths that his family believes. Dion said clearly what kind of sign, which became a frightening specter. Although not necessarily the truth.
“Eh, don't mention Junda, the former boss. Amused to know?” relina said while raising her shoulders. Not only amused but heartbreaking for Relina, Junda once said she liked him, but when she answered and reciprocated her feelings, the man abandoned her.
“You want to know, don't you? Or do you already know?”
“Iya, what's up?”
Relina was stunned to hear Ane tell her about the mythical sign that Junda had. It was the same sign as her. The birthmark is near the elbow of his left hand, while Junda's is above the knee of his right leg.
He didn't expect his best friend to know more than he did. Ane knew about it a long time ago, only that she forgot to tell Relina.
“Reli ... I thought, God deliberately brought you to Junda, maybe you are his soul mate. So, keep him.”
Relina was pensive when she heard Ane asking her to defend Junda. However, Junda had rejected the love that was present between them, only to be disappointed, while reading ‘save Junda’ in Relina's diary and offending her.
‘Not him bad, but I'm too hopeful. It's not him who's insensitive, but I'm the one who wants to make him happy'
'Yes. It's not her fault that I've wasted the people who love her, but I'm late to realize that her love is not as strong as I thought Relina's inner’ while smiling at her phone where Ane was looking at her.
Relina did not tell me the truth happened between her and Junda, she then said, “ alright, thank you for calling me. I'm not lonely anymore.”
Ane laughed loudly at Relina's funny-sounding words because everyone who was happy would not feel lonely. Relina is lucky with her life now.
While Relina feels all her best friends, Ane and Icha are already happy, except for her. The girl tries to sleep while the phone screen starts to darken as the call is over.
A few days later, there was an uproar at Junda's house, as the maid and the nurse treating Shasi cried hysterically.
That morning Junda had just finished breakfast and was rubbing his lips with a tissue, when he heard shouting. A housekeeper hurriedly walked up to her, her face pale and her hands squeezing the side of her skirt.
Junda stood up while asking, “what is it?!” his face looks panicked.
“Mrs fall again, Sir. After finishing bathing,” replied the Servant whose voice sounded trembling.
“What?” when he said that, Junda was already at the door. How surprised he was when he arrived at Shasi's room which was close to the living room. He saw the old woman on the floor in a lying position using only her kimono towel.
The two maids and nurses did not know what Shasi wanted and continued to rebel. The woman wanted to convey something, but could not, so she was only able to cry or show rejection.
Everything the nurse would do that would take care of her, as if it were wrong in her eyes. Shasi's attitude like this happened a few days ago when he saw Junda go at night without his permission.
When Junda came home that night, Shasi saw him differently, she wanted to ask but couldn't. The woman showed more rebellion when Junda told her.
“Good Grandma, I will never have the chance to marry anyone!”
