That morning Relina was ready to fulfill a work call, from PT. Gunara, by public transportation, typical of Baranangsiang terminal in East Bogor City.
The girl seemed excited, heading for the company that would give her a new job. The building he was going to, not far from where he was boarding, was just opposite the Juanda corporate office, where he used to work.
I hope I don't see that guy again. Shame from yesterday's incident, still imprinting, it's hard to forget something like that. Although the possibility is very small for them to meet, but he remains vigilant, because his name coincidentally will always exist.
He deliberately left early in the morning with the intention of avoiding congestion, which always happens, so as not to be late.
Relina wears the clothes she used to wear, while still working in Junda's office, a long-sleeved white shirt and a black skirt covering her knees this time she completes the look with a floral scarf, around his neck.
Arriving at the office he went to the information desk and said his needs. Relina was greeted by the woman who served there, and then gave her advice, that she was asked to go to the HRD room first, only then she could go to the manager's room.
'Why am I sent directly to the manager room, after facing the head of the HRD section, huh?'
Facing the head of the HRD, or often called the personnel section, is a procedure that is usually carried out by every new employee.
Arriving in the HRD room, Relina was in the middle of the room sitting in front of a man of lush body, with almost gray hair, but the man's face looked fresh and young. Iaters smiled and asked Relina.
Relina nodded politely.
"Are you the one who was called yesterday?" asked the man and Relina nodded, although astonished by the question.
Relina explained that she did receive a call asking her to go directly to the manager.
The HRD head who looked very authoritative and resolute nodded, then he said, "Then, you can directly face the manager, now."
Relina was still silent as she grew more astonished, no other questions related to her work or personal life.
"Maybe you were chosen as his assistant." Said the man.
"Thank you" said Relina later.
"You've been an assistant before?" Asked the head of the HRD to Relina while checking her CV.
"Not yet, sir."
"So you're just experience taking care of regular administration?"
"Yes, sir."
"Where?"
"In Junda Aswara Company.'
"Oh, have you ever been an employee of Pak Junda?"
'What, so this guy, knows Mr Juanda?'
Relina circulated her gaze when she accidentally captured a photo of Junda with some of the company's top hanging, along with several other photos on the parapet wall in the room. He concluded, it is likely that the company has a good cooperation with the company Junda, realizing that he also breathed a heavy sigh.
'Hopefully even though Mr. Juanda is a partner of this company I will not meet him, it is impossible'
"Why did you stop? That's a good company."
Suddenly his heart was pounding, he was in doubt as to whether he would be honest or not.
'Ah, should I say honestly that I was forcibly dismissed, would that change everything? I can't possibly lie, because if one day my lie is exposed, I'll be fired again, ahk'
"I was fired, sir." eventually Relina admitted. He endured all the feelings of sadness, shame in actually admitting his dismissal, his voice sounded a little quivering.
"Why's fired?"
"According to Mr. Junda, at that time the company was experiencing financial efficiency."
The old man smiled obliquely and shook his head, as if to say, there was no way the company was going through a financial deficit, as Relina had said.
'Oh my God .. Because of this, I am called? So the dead' substitute'
After bowing respectfully and thanking her, Relina exited the room to go to the manager room, in question, by asking some people.
He was so grateful to have gotten away with it so easily. He underwent a brief and non-verbal review. He does not have to undergo everything that is usually done, the office, to screen employees who want to enter a company.
There was a good thing he came early because he could prepare himself better, ready with all the questions that would be asked of him and hoping everything went well.
After being in the manager's office.
Relina saw that the room was quite large, there were two tables there, as well as a set of sofas. It's probably two desks, for the manager and the secretary, or the assistant. He thought he would be in a room with his manager.
'Ah, it feels impossible, right?'
Relina is welcome to wait and sit inside, there are some small sofa neatly arranged in front of the work desk. It feels like a room that is too luxurious when measured by company glasses, for a manager's room, too luxurious and good is more worthy of being a director's room.
Unlike what he saw in the HRD room inside were several tables, a few ornaments and document storage racks and not much decoration, but in this room, there was a small amount of space, there are so many decorations and trinkets that do not seem suitable for an office.
There are several photos on display there, showing the activity and personality of the manager.
A person who is like a manager, will not have a room as good as this. Unless he does something special so that he can earn a good trust and be given a decent room. That was likely what a manager who would become Relina's superior would have this time around.
After a while he waited, finally appeared the person who was tall and thin, wearing glasses minus and straight hair
He stared low from the tip of his hair to the tip of Relina's feet, then smiled thinly at the end of his lips.
He said, "what's your name?"
Eelina stood up to greet manager Fuad, replying, "i'm Relina."
After Fuad entered, he kept the door open, indicating that this manager, a good and civilized man because he did not want anything, such as prejudice or anything else to happen.
"Hm ... Good morning, I'm Fuad." The man extended his hand.
Relina greeted politely and replied, "Good morning, sir."
"Are you ready for work today?"
"Ready, Sir. Please guide her."
Relina remembered the man's name was spoken by the head of personnel, he was a brown-skinned, narrow-eyed man, his nose was pointed and he seemed to be a friendly person.
After some questions that Fuad asked could be answered well, Relina was declared able to work at that time also became Fuad's assistant. One thing he had never expected, before, was that his only experience of being a lowly administration was now an assistant manager, it was a coincidence.
When he first entered work, he was always afraid of failure, inferiority and shame, that's how he felt. Not believing in himself, but gradually after several months of working at Juanda's company, he finally realized that, there is no reason for someone to feel like a failure, even though he had never done anything.
Failure, failure was something frightening for people like Relina. When he departed from the village in advance, his mother had advised him to be a successful person, so that he took care and honor the good name of the family and other good messages. What a message that carries a burden for him, but also triggers him to do better.
Doesn't everyone have experienced failure, isn't it strange with the term failure in life? But that does not mean the fear of failure becomes an obstacle to keep going.
"If you're ready, this .. read our schedule today for the next week" Fuad said, handing over the documents to Relina.
"Good." Relina accepts.
"Learn this material, tomorrow we are meeting, accompanying Mr. Director, at Junda Company." Fuad said again while handing over some maps.
'What? I didn't hear wrong, did you want a meeting at Junda's company?'
"What, Sir? At Junda Aswara's company?"
"Yes, why is it?"
