The Sign of Love

The Sign of Love
Other Misadventures

Junda stood next to his black BMW X5 series car, with a ruffled waist. He wears a plain light blue shirt and black pants, his hair has just been trimmed to make Junda look younger and exude his good looks.

He looked away, smiling wryly in order to try to cover up the resentment in him. The annoyance was like black smoke and moist air filling his chest, then rising into his throat and filling the contents of his head.

How can he not be upset if he has to face misfortune with the same girl repeatedly? The girl was wearing a black hat, her shoulder hair was allowed to unravel. He wears a black plain shirt and blue jeans. Standing in the middle of the road while stretching out his hands with his eyes closed, it was as if he was ready to accept death.

"Hey!" junda shouted towards Relina who was now starting to open her eyes slowly.

He saw a car that stopped in front of him just a few inches away from his body. Then look at Junda at a glance, astonished, but indifferent.

"Hey! Are you looking to die, huh?!" Junda snapped but Relina didn't hear it.

He turned to his right and left and then rubbed his chest, breathing a sigh of relief muttering gratitude. After that he returned to crouching to help the old mother pick up the tomatoes that were scattered. He ignored Junda there. For him the important thing is that the mother survived and the merchandise can be resold.

There are not many vehicles in that place because Junda is currently on a special pedestrian road that wants to go to the market. Of course many people who saw, the incident, the name of the market, was certainly very crowded.

Some people began to help Relina busy picking tomatoes scattered. They nagged Junda's rude attitude which was wrong but still angry.

"Thank you sweet boy" said the old mother in the language of the region. Relina simply nodded while helping to put the collected fruit into another plastic bag.

"Together, Mom. You're okay, right?"

"What's wrong, Neng, fortunately there is Neng, if not surely It's good to have been hit earlier."

Some people also justify and comment on everything they see.

While Junda was still standing next to his car, his sense of regret multiplied many times over as it was now ignored. He was ready to spill his anger. He is still waiting for the right time, though,

'How about if I hit him, what if he dies, what if .. ahk! Shit!'

All sorts of feelings raged in his mind. He saw the back of Relina who was bending over, there was writing on the back t-shirt she was wearing, making Junda almost smile, 'I am nothing, but I am hope' he wrote.

Junda looked around, the atmosphere was crowded down and back and forth people who went in and out of the market area, he realized one mistake, had entered on a special pedestrian street. Naturally, all that happened, let alone he drove the car at high speed.

He was still in barbershop when he got a call from Sashi, his grandmother wanted to be delivered to the mall that day. After finishing the need to tidy up his hair, he immediately rushed towards the place where Shasi wanted to be picked up.

At the same time he gets another call from his stepmother telling him that his father is sick and wants Junda to come see him right now.

Junda did not think long, he was desperate to pass the road that was empty of vehicles, when he remembered some roads had closure. It was the closest shortcut to the restaurant where Sashi was waiting for him.

Everyone looked towards the silent Junda without pity to see the troubled old man. He doesn't care. He just wants to shed the pending anger.

After she finished helping and the old mother was gone, Relina patted her own palms together, in order to clean up the dirt that stuck. He turned to Junda at a glance, then left just like that.

As fast as the wind, Junda grabbed onto Relina's hand so that the girl wouldn't ignore her.

"Wait!" Pekik Junda's. If not many people he would have been angry at this girl. He did not want the incident a week ago, when he was blasphemed by some mothers, to happen again. Especially now, he was wrong to have passed the road that can only be passed by pedestrians.

"Deliver!" Said Relina while brushed off the rough hand of Junda, from her wrist.

"Are you stupid, huh?" junda said while pressing Relina's forehead with her index finger. The man did not knowingly do that because his brain was still wrapped in anger.

Relina let out a loud sigh while brushing Junda's hand from her forehead and she did the same to Junda, pointing her index finger at the front of her former boss's nose.

"What do you mean, huh?!" He said in a loud voice no less loud than the voice of Junda. "So, you need to be angry with me, obviously you're wrong here!"

"You?!"

"What, I what?!"

Sure enough, some people approached and an old man who had been sitting in front of the Cianjur area specialty confectionery shop, stood up and said in a loud voice as well.

"What's wrong, you. So don't be mad at that, same girl who's rude."

Hearing the old man's words, immediately Junda's clean face was seen pias, then turned red, dark like fog when the rain was about to fall. He wanted to scold her all out here but could not, he had to pick up Shasi and go to Jakarta to see his father.

Junda stared at Relina's face with nanar, like throwing a flame right in Relina's eyeball. The girl replied with a gaze that was no less sharp. Their views met, such as having a magical power that sucked all the sources of conscience and linked the rope to the highest branch of the tree, so it was difficult to release.

The man was silent as well as Relina, only their eyes were talking to each other.

'Hey, hey, why can't I stop staring at him?'

Unknowingly, Junda's hand was stretched out, wanting to touch her, but at that moment Relina reflexively brushed it off, making Junda wake up and blinked her eyes several times.

"What do you want to do?"

Junda frowned at the question because he himself did not know why he did it. Finally he just shook his head and answered stiffly.

"I just want to shake."

"For what?"

"I'm sorry," said Junda as he extended his hand back.

"I'm sorry?" Relina said with a slanted smile, turning her eyes away. He was upset at this man, for some reason since he was fired at that time, annoyed and astonished by the reason for the dismissal was still lodged in his mind.

"Yes, sorry. Was wrong?"

"You don't have to apologize to me, but to the law, the rule you've broken, sir, to the old mother whose merchandise was spilled, not on me!"

For a moment, the conversation between the two of them came to the attention of the people.

Junda smiled obliquely at Relina's rebuttal which felt a little overwhelming with words of apology to the law.

'Which law does he mean? It has nothing to do with my apology!'

"Well, if you don't want to."

After saying so, Junda turned around to enter his car and went on his way back.

While on the way, Junda continued to think about Relina in his head, a face that seemed ordinary, but imprinted in his heart. He shook his head and tried to remove the girl's shadow from his brain but failed, even following her ability to leave.
