The Sign of Love

The Sign of Love
Alex

"Ah, no. Who knew he had a wife" Ane replied, with a timid smile looking towards the sleeping boy.

"But why did your son bring it?" Relina curious.

Ane had found the little boy, at lunch. The girl was about to finish her lunch when a child ran over and fell, while in her hand was holding an ice cream. Of course he accidentally spilled the food towards her. The little boy who wore a neat suit looked scared and wanted to cry, to make Ane embrace and calm him so that he did not cry because he was not angry even though his shoes were dirty because of the ice cream.

"Well, the ice cream dropped, huh?" Ane said as she crouched down and lifted the child in her lap and tidied up her clothes.

The boy almost cried as Anne hugged and said, "honey ... later buy another ice cream huh?" The boy nodded too.

"Promise yes, buy again" said the little boy and was about to get off Ane's lap, but then he saw the food on his plate.

"Would you like to eat?" Ane and the boy both nodded and held on over the girl's lap.

Apparently, Ane's tenderness made the child calm down and willing to be with her. Ane at that time felt strange with the child wearing official clothes in the office, where such a place was not at all a pleasant place for children.

Although it feels awkward because Ane does not know and does not know who his parents are, he still holds me while feeding food from his plate that is still not finished.

At first the boy looked doubtful and afraid he turned left and right who seemed to be looking for people he knew. When she did not find it, she almost cried again and Ane calmed her down again.

It just so happened that Ane wasn't too busy, while the little boy was still with her after they bought ice cream. Finally he took the little boy to the house of Relina which is very close to the office of Junda also happened to be tired, almost he moved profession as a nanny.

Meanwhile, at the company's office. A commotion ensues as a little boy from the CEO's brother of the company goes missing. All security forces are asked to search.

"Have you checked our CCTV?" Junda asked a man standing in front of her. The man had curly hair, his body was slightly thin and his eyes narrowed, he was Junda's maternal cousin's brother who had passed away. He visited the company because he was enjoying a leave of absence from his job.

Asked like that, Dion shook his head. He left it for a while when he wanted to go to the toilet.

"Why don't you use the toilet in my room?" Ask Junda again.

"I can't stand it." Dion replied as he continued walking towards the surveillance room, they were about to check the CCTV.

Dion felt safe leaving his son outside the toilet because he thought it would not be long, who knows when he was inside, the boy just saw a cat that happened to pass by, he was afraid until he ran off the ridge in an uncertain direction. The location of the office cafeteria was the closest place to him until he ran there.

After checking the CCTV and seeing if Dero, the name of the little boy with one of his employees, the two men finally calmed down.

"Yet, your son must be the same woman in his room. We'll pick him up there." Junda said as he walked away from the supervisory room, patting Dion on the shoulder.

They continued the chat as well as lunch in the room Junda, so it did not feel like they had passed lunch.

"So, you haven't found a new wife, Yon?" Ask Junda, rubbing hands with tissue.

"Not suitable yet, relax. He's been gone for three months."

"Why don't men have a grace period? Still strong for three months?"

"You haven't been, aren't you afraid of being a weathered bachelor?"

"No."

"Don't you want it to be the same girl?" Dion was silent for a moment after speaking, seeing Junda's reaction. "Don't trust Grandma, believe that myth. We'd be crazy to follow him."

"Yes, it's a myth, but I don't know why I'm so scared, Yon."

"Fear your wife is dead?" Dion asked, laughing. Hearing Dion's question, Junda looked at him with an annoyed look.

"The death of life is God's business. Even if your wife dies, it may be her destiny. It's not you who took his life."

Junda averted his eyes, avoiding the cloudy face of his closest brother. He is not not ignorant of the mythical world, it's just that Shasi has always instilled this understanding since he was a child.

Believe it or not, it is his business, but appreciating a woman who has cared for and raised him, even willing to be his protector in all things, is an obligation. Shasilah who became the encouragement and replacement of both parents. In her time of need, she was always there.

'I only respect Grandma's beliefs, about myths I don't fully believe'

Actually myth or mite or in Dutch called mythe is just a story that lies behind the interpretation of the events of the universe, gods, astral beings as well as all the stories of humans and animals, he said, which is usually considered true by certain circles. So, not all people, groups or communities, have the same belief in myths.

"There is a sound of birds on the roof of the house, wow." That's one of the myths that Shasi told Junda.

Myths exist in traditional stories and beliefs of people in the past based on historical events. It is then interpreted randomly, even excessively, as the personification of certain natural phenomena. Most people believe it because they think it is true.

Usually myths are propagated for the experience and religious presentation of a particular community teaching. Ancient Greek mythology, about gods, heroes and the prose of its people, is one of the most famous and still sacred myths.

After Junda and Dion were comfortable eating lunch, they immediately went to the room where Ane worked, but they did not find the girl there. All the employees in the room with Anne were subjected to confusion because the little boy they thought was there was not there.

"Where is that girl? It was here too" said his colleague, trying to contact his phone.

*****

Relina was still eating a bowl of meatballs as Anne's phone continued to ring, while the cell phone owner was still busy feeding Alex, a small child with a chubby cheek, a sweet white skin.

Relina picked up the phone on the foam mattress and gave it to Ane, saying, "no, noisy!"

"Hello?" Anne spoke after sticking the phone to her ear. Then he quietly listened to someone talking at the end of the phone like he was nagging him.

"Oh, die me!" saith. "Okay, tell Mr. Junda, I'm going to the office now!" anne said as she stepped into her bag.

"Come on Alex, we'll go to the office again" Anne said, cleaning the little boy's lips with a tissue. He looks panicked.

But the boy shook his head, he ignored Ane and Relina, it seemed like he wanted to finish the meatball. When the boy woke up, there happened to be a meatball who passed by. Apparently meatballs and soto are her favorite foods. Anne could guess because when she had lunch, the boy wanted to finish it. Alex is a child who has been accustomed to meeting many people and caregivers who often change, making him quickly familiar with Ane and Relina.

"Why? So he's Mr Junda's son?" ask Relina.

"Not, his nephew. Jun sir, still a bachelor, right?"

"Times, anyway?"

While waiting for Alex, Ane tells her about the events in the office after her disappearance. He decided to leave after Alex fell asleep and he was too tired to hold the boy, so he decided to take Alex away. Especially not the people who look for him, so Ane determined to take him, he did not think further about it, but because seeing the appearance of Alex, he thought if he was not a child of ordinary people.

He talked a little while he was having lunch.

"What's your name?"

"Alex."

"You're cool, wear a tie, wear a suit. Where are you going, si?"

"Papa too, take teyus" replied Alex plainly.

Now the cute boy was in front of him eating meatballs, voraciously. Without thinking that his father was confused looking for him.

Before long Ane's phone rang again and the girl picked him up, even though she knew the call was from an unknown person.

"Hello! Where are you now!" Turns out it was Junda's voice shouting on the phone.

"I'm at my friend's boarding house, sir. Alex is still eating, not going to the office. Sorry ... Sir!" Anne said in a stammer because she was nervous about being scolded by her boss, even from behind a cell phone, it was still scary.

"Share your current location, I'll pick up the kid!"

"Good, sir."

Anne did everything Junda asked, sharing the location she was in.

"Why again?"

"Sir Junda wants to come here."

"What. That guy wants to come here. Why?" Relina's face looks cloudy, she imagines if she should meet again with Junda, after she says that she is a woman of the night.

"You're going to pick up Alex."
