Hijrahku From Dating
part 17's

I was pensively sitting in the waiting room, continuing to say do'a in my tears. Uncle, Om Dewa, Bibi, Mommy and Meli supported me to stay calm and keep praying. Shortly thereafter, the Doctor who examined Adam came out of the patient's room where Adam was lying. The six of us immediately stood up, waiting for a statement from the doctor.

.

"How's my son doing, Doc?" ask Mother to worry.

"The mother's son had a severe disorder in his kidney cancer. But, I can't be sure before mom signs the administration examination using X rays. X ray examination is used to determine the disease with certainty," explained the Doctor.

"I'll sign whatever you ask. As long as my child can recover," said Mother began to shed tears.

"Good Mom. Five more minutes, please mom to the administration room. Because the patient is concerned. X ray examination is done if the patient is awake and improving. Because if his body is not resistant to X rays, it will be feared that things will happen that are not desirable. We leave everything to God. I'll excuse myself first" explained the doctor.

Mother wiped her tears and nodded. After a nun came out of Adam's room, we went straight into the room. Tears have washed my headscarf.

"Adam. You have to be strong, yes. I will continue to pray for your recovery" I said to Adam, whose uniform has now been changed to a green toska patient.

"Son, it's already Adzan. We pray to the mushola first, yuk. InsyaaAllaah, our hearts become calmer," Mother's advice holds my two shoulders.

"Annisa just pray in this room, Bun. Annisa can't leave Adam yet" I replied, wiping my tears.

Then the five of them left me for the hospital mosque. I took the change of clothes that Aunt had brought and went into the toilet in Adam's room.

After bathing & wudlu, I prayed and prayed to Allah.

"Yeah Allaah. Heal Adam for me, Allaah. I love her so much and I don't want to lose her. Allaahummasyfiihi allaahummasyfiihi allaahummasyfiihi Adam," my prayer.

Then I saw Adam's head looking at me slowly and his eyes opened, I hurriedly wiped my tears and folded my face. I sat in a chair near Adam lying down with a feeling of pleasure.

"Alhamdulillaah, Adam. Finally you realize, too," I said, then I held his left hand, "You are strong. I'll stay here and take care of you. Do not forget to keep praying and reciting thoughts to Allah" I continued.

Adam smiled slowly then said stammeringly, "I'm fine insyaaAllaah. I-I don't stop dhikr & do'a. And de-ngarlah, I want to say something."

I stick my ear to her. He said in a soft voice.

Adam's words really struck my heart. It made my chest tight and I couldn't say anything but let out a cry. I'm not ready if Adam leaves me.

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door. I immediately wiped the tears that soaked my cheeks. I opened the door, and it turned out that the picket nurse gave Adam a ration. I accepted and walked towards Adam.

"You don't say that. We don't know yet what will happen. Didn't you yourself tell me that the miracle of the do'a can change everything, biidznillaah insyaaAllaah. As long as we try. Yuk, now eat first. I'm bribing you, "I said trying to strengthen Adam. Despite the opposite of my inner self, how do I strengthen my soul if I am weak myself?

Adam nodded. I turned the device under Adam's bed that serves to raise Adam's bed, until Adam's body can be in a sitting position. I began to feed Adam and every time I fed him, I saw Adam's face smiling at me. I also tried to ask him to joke so as not to be sad, until Adam bsa laughed a little. Adam has faithfully listened to my stories.

Fifteen minutes later, Adam had finished eating. Then I poured warm water on Adam very carefully.

.

*Tok-tok-tok!

I opened the door as soon as I heard a knock. It turns out that Auntie, Mother and Meli are back. I let them in.

"You're looking to eat out there first. Let replace Mother who takes care of. Your uncle is the same Om Dewa has come home," advised Mother who is now sitting in the chair that I had occupied.

"Okay, Mother" I replied.

"Adam is conscious? Alhamdulillaah says. Have you eaten too?" ask Mommy.

Adam nodded. Then, I went out of the room to buy some food and didn't hear the conversation anymore.
