Bitter Tongue In-Law

Bitter Tongue In-Law
24. The Wise Father

Traveling Bian, Nuna several times opened the door to ensure the whereabouts of her parents, had several times he checked outdoors, but both parents never saw. For the umpteenth time, Nuna turned to the bed with an unsettled heart because her current position would definitely be more difficult.

Just about to sit himself on the bed, the door sounded open from outside. Nuna immediately turned around and glazed to see her parents who came with lots of souvenirs from the village.

"Mom, Dad." Nuna said softly with tears that had successfully wet her cheeks.

He walked to pick up his parents and knelt at their feet. His mouth felt locked by itself, he felt unable to say anything except to listen to a deep and slashing sob.

So do the two people know, they are also both pecking at the place in a long time. It made Nuna think that they were angry and really disappointed in her.

"Dad, Mom, I'm sorry. I really don't..."

A hand then grabbed her arm and helped her to stand up. Now he could see tears from his father. And her mother's wet cheeks. Deck from the father made Nuna increasingly sobbing.

They cried for a long time without a word of explanation. Their lips seemed to be equally locked and preferred to vent a cry in a few moments.

Moments later, Ibu Nuna took the two family members to sit down. Seeing Nuna's slightly pale face made the woman worry. I don't know what's more dominant in the woman who gave birth to Nuna. Whether the feeling of disappointment, anger, or pity on the condition of her child is quite alarming because the vision of Mother Nuna and Bian is the same, Nuna physically looks thin for the size of pregnant women.

"Mom, Dad, why didn't you tell me you wanted to come here?"

"Why should we say? We want to surprise you and bring some gifts for your child's birth. We haven't seen our daughter in a long time. What's going on, Nuna? You hid something this big on us, your parents?" Nuna's father said.

Nuna smiled wryly, "You must have heard the story from them, huh? Do you still want to hear from me?"

"What are you, by the way? We may just believe in them. Did you forget our habits when you were a child? You forget what Mom and Dad would do when you and your sister fought until you or your sister cried? Has your daughter forgotten her parents' habit of solving problems?" Nuna's father stroked the child's face gently.

Feeling that he had not done that for a long time made Nuna's father a little teary, he examined the face of his son who turned out to be an adult. Though he felt just yesterday put a cloth bedong on his tiny body.

"Then why do you still ask me if you want to hear your story or not? Same story, don't be afraid to be honest. If you are right or wrong, we will not punish you with anger. You're our daughter, how could we do that?"

Nuna's father deliberately made the situation comfortable for Nuna. If what Arga says is the truth, Nuna is not afraid to tell the truth. Despite the risk of disappointment that may be unstoppable, he feels better that Nuna is honest even though she will feel like she really is the only human who fails.

After a moment of silence, Nuna finally began to stream her story. This time he will hear the words of his father and Bian. Tell me what is true and there is nothing to hide. It took Nuna 30 minutes to summarize her life story to be simpler without leaving a single moment behind.

"Finally, Bian forced me to stay here for a few days. I know he must have felt sorry for me, so he forced me to follow the doctor's advice. As long as I'm here, only Bian and his sister are always there for me, Mom. I hope you guys aren't disappointed with me for this. Nor would I be reckless to work if Mas Arga fulfilled his obligations properly."

Nuna's father was so angry to hear her son's painful story. His heartache was deeper than hearing the news of Nuna being pregnant out of wedlock.

While Nuna's mother again sobbed while hugging her child. He felt guilty because he had thought that what Arga told him was the truth and he was disappointed in his daughter.

"Now you're not alone, there's us. Okay, don't remember it anymore. Don't cry, Daddy's son can't come out in tears for a man who doesn't have the same trust as his wife. That's not a good man. You don't have to prove anything to them. Don't use a DNA test, let God himself open his eyes and heart."

Nuna wiped her tears and broke off the hug with her mother. For DNA testing, he can't undo it. He should keep doing it. He does not want to delay a truth that should be revealed quickly.

"Yes it is. Don't focus on that first. Now you have to rest, it's night. Sorry to make you have to cry these nights. Oh, ja. I'd like to see you earlier what's his name?" Nuna's father tries to remember Bian's name but never remembers.

"Dian? Do you want to meet Bian?  Dad wouldn't upset her, would he? He helped me a lot, Dad." Nuna was not worried.

"No. Why should I be angry? I want to see time."

Nuna just nodded slowly. Although his mind was going everywhere, he tried not to ask much.
