Bitter Tongue In-Law

Bitter Tongue In-Law
21. Headstrong

Nuna is like a teenager being interrogated by her father. He looked down with a finger playing with the dress he was wearing. Now the woman is sitting on the sofa of Bian's house with all the compulsion that men to throw. It took a little while for Bian to bring the stubborn woman into his home.

"Mas, I know you're assertive, stubborn, but don't use your two traits as others. Poor Ma'am Nuna look tuh, he looked down so scared. Don't you pity her?" Bianca who was feeling pity with the young lady voiced out. Seeing the pale face of Nuna somehow so sliced his heart, moreover he knew a little bit of the way of Nuna's life that was not easy.

"He's not afraid, he's ashamed to ask him."

"Yes, forget what Nuna thought. Why would you bring him here if you only saw the doang?"

Bian got up from his seat and walked to the back. Not long after he returned with a towel and he put it on the table in front of Nuna.

"Go take a shower!"

"No need, Bian. I want to find a contract and take a shower there. Please let me go."

"Yes already then I ask, where do you want to find a contract so early? Don't you know this area is far from a contract? Tell me what's my fault until you avoid me like that? Don't make me wonder, then conclude something wrong. Is it hard to accept someone's kindness? If you can't accept his kindness, appreciate him. You were never valued for your kindness and your patience, you know how it feels. And now you're doing it to someone else? Do you want others to feel what you feel?"

Hearing the words from Bian the instant Nuna looked up. He didn't mean to do what Bian said.

"I don't mean that, I..."

"Well, you can take a shower now. You're lucky to know a man as well as I do. That's how God helps you, ignore what you feel now, you can be here also there is interference from God. If you insist on your shame, you can ignore my words, and get out of here. Don't care about your son who could have been on the street suddenly struggling to get out."

Nuna in heart justifies what Bian is saying. These are the weeks in which he should have already uplifted his son. With a gesture of embarrassment and hesitation, Nuna grabbed the towel that was lying on the table and walked to the deeper part of the house. The departure of the skinny woman with the distended stomach was only followed by an eye gaze by the owner of the house.

A few seconds passed, Nuna who realized her stupidity patted the eel and cursed herself inwardly. For this time he confirmed that he was careless and stupid. How could at one time he commit recklessness the second time. Not long after he regretted the incident at the porridge shop earlier, now he had to thicken his face to return to the living room.

"Khem, where's the bathroom?" Nuna asked in a voice and face that she made as usual, even though she was eager to bury herself in her heart.

"Straight until the end, then turn left there is a blue door. Is that the bathroom?" Bianca replied while Bian was just pretending to focus on his phone.

Nuna immediately ran a small table away from the living room. His shame is no longer contained.

"What happened to Nuna, Mom? Why'd he bring a bag?"

"I don't know, maybe he was kicked out of his house. I haven't asked much." Bian who initially looked indifferent and indifferent when there was Nuna, suddenly his facial water turned into like thinking of something.

About five minutes Nuna cleaned herself, splashed water from top to bottom to make herself fresher. He walked back to the front by rubbing his hair with a towel.

"Ca, where's the towel?" nuna asked as she wagged her long wet hair.

That simple sight made Bian stupefied. Wet hair, a fragrant smell that ripples everywhere, and plus Nuna who looks beautiful make the 30-year-old man stunned.

Deg deg deg

Bian felt his chest suddenly rumble.

"Dry next to the house, Ma'am. There's a towel clothesline."

The two humans sitting in the living room were still looking in the same direction.

"Thank you for giving me a ride to take a shower. Now can I go?"

Bianca waited for Bian to speak, but the man's gaze seemed to ask him to leave from there. With a hard leg, Bianca finally took herself out of the house.

"I don't want to interfere with your business. The problem is that I'm involved in your problems, even though I actually have nothing to do with you. What's the matter, Nuna? Did something happen until you left the house? You disappeared, I thought your life was better." Bian deliberately pretended not to know with the news that he had heard that the woman did not want him to do anything and finally he chose to disappear.

"I just want to get out of the house, Bian. Like you said. I can prove that I'm right without having to live there."

"You just realized it or have you given up on the situation?"

"I just realized. Looks like I need to get out of here, Bian."

"What made you realize?" Bian ignored Nuna's desire to leave the house immediately.

"You're helping me doesn't mean I can tell you what happened, right? I'm so grateful that you're still kind and giving me help, even though I might always piss you off."

"You still protect your husband? All right, no problem. Let me take you home."

"I can do it myself, Bian. I don't want to trouble anyone."

"You know? There are some people who are willing to lower their ego to help others. Accepting help from others is not insulting.  Why do you always feel like you can do anything alone? If you don't want to trouble others or don't want to accept help from others, you better stay in the forest. You won't accept help from anyone." Bian was so upset leaving the living room.

Nuna was still silent, was it as painful as it was that she did not receive any help from him? Bian looks angry and scary. He just felt Bian was too kind and he didn't deserve that kindness.

Not long after, Bian again walked forward wearing a jacket. Nuna quickly moved on and, "Bian, are you angry? I'm sorry." The woman blocked Bian's path.

"Yes. I'm going to the store. You can leave now if you don't accept my help." Bian passed Nuna just like that.

Frightened by Bian's expression, Nuna hurriedly picked up the bag and walked quickly out of the house.

"Okay, au." Just as Nuna's feet were treading on the terrace floor, she felt her stomach suddenly ache. "Aaaa is sick," said Nuna.

Bian who had just opened the fence of the house immediately ran over when he heard faintly the sound of Nuna being in pain.

"What's wrong? Wh why? Stomach pain? What is giving birth? What am I supposed to do? Why do you have to give birth now?
