Bitter Tongue In-Law

Bitter Tongue In-Law
16. Nuna's thoughts

After a while of being forced to open a tavern, Bian finally reluctantly leaves Nuna alone at the puskesmas. Don't ask why Bian felt so hard to leave Nuna, because he didn't know what he was feeling.

Before he actually went home, he saw a fruit and fruit juice trader who was passing through the puskesmas. Reflex he called the merchant and bought fruit juice for Nuna. And some fresh fruit for the woman. Maybe this will not be filling, but at least the woman's stomach is not empty while waiting for her body to recover.

"You're strong, right inside? I'm sure your son is strong. Must stay healthy and survive until we meet, yes. Sorry if I had to push you to work hard after this. If Mom doesn't work, how will you need it? We fight together, son. You'll also have to raise money for a DNA test later. Let me get you back to us." Nuna spoke to the baby in her stomach. His mouth trembled withholding tears with a hand that did not stop stroking his stomach.

Bian who had been in the doorway since Nuna spoke at once felt that something was pinching in the upper part of his heart. He almost dropped his innate when he heard the cry of Nuna's heart which could have been not completely.

Whatdoes thatmean? Why does Nuna have to work?

Bian was silent thinking about Nuna's words. A moment of thought led Bian to conclude that this matter must have caused Nuna's husband to not want to give her a living. Given her husband's temperament, not even the Mother-in-law who wanted their separation made Bian more convinced by his thoughts.

That means that in that house Nuna is really alone? I just remembered her dispute with her mother-in-law. Why do I remember now?

After no longer hearing Nuna's words to strengthen herself, Bian pressed down on the doorknob, he printed an ordinary face as if he had heard nothing.

"Is there anything missing?" Nuna asked as she covered her stomach which she had opened.

"No. I bought this with a fruit dealer. I bought it for you. Make a snack." Bian put the bag to the table near the bed.

"Why bother, Bian?"

"No. Just fruit doang. Yeah, I went to the store, yeah. Here, I stay my HP number here, maybe you need something, don't hesitate to call me. You're still my responsibility as long as you're here. You can be here because of my sister."

Nuna chuckled, "It's overkill, Bian. But, thank you, yeah."

Bian only nodded in response to Nuna's small laugh. He felt guilty that he had thought that Nuna was a stupid woman just because she did not want to tell a little complaint. Especially if she remembers Nuna does not want to tell stories because it protects the disgrace of her husband.

Women like Nuna were already rare in this world. Acting strong with the situation coupled with no friends on his side, really not all humans can be as strong as Nuna. Coupled with the kindness of Nuna who did not want to expose the disgrace of her husband. That was Bian's dream woman. He wanted to marry a woman like Nuna.

Wait, why did he think so far? Bian patted his head slowly as he kept thinking about Nuna.

"But isn't it natural to think about it? Anyone would have thought of that woman when they heard her words earlier. What do I have to do with him?"

Bian has arrived at the store. He prepared a shop for him to open. He sat in the pantry with his chin up.

Do I have to hire him here again? But I don't think that's the right choice. This will cause trouble again for Nuna. If I find him work, I'm afraid he's even soy sauce and make the baby why, I certainly won't be able to live quietly if that happens.

[Mas, how's Nuna doing? Nothing bad, right? I asked her midwife to check the whole thing, including her pregnancy. I'm afraid if anything happens]

A message disperse Bian's daydreams.

[Yes, he's okay. His blood was low, so he could not go home. It's in the store. You will go home and buy food for him, yes]

[OKAY. There is one more class. I'll go straight there after this]

[Ca, can you ask for help? Find a job for Nuna. Just a light job. If you can go home in the morning. Don't spend a full day, keep the store as possible, or anything like that]

A few hours Bian waited, no longer any sayings from his sister and his only family. He finally decided to open the shop with the spirit that still remains.

°°°

In the afternoon, Bian returned to the puskesmas after blowing up the shop. For the first time, he opened the tavern for only a few hours because his mind was completely seized on Nuna.

Before he went to the puskesmas, he stopped by a supermarket. He bought a lot of snacks with various types. While walking around the shelf by the shelf, he accidentally heard a familiar voice. He found Arga and a woman who was busy shopping as well. Their chatter sounded familiar to Bian's ears.

Not wanting to be caught by his presence, he immediately covered to the cashier. Bian had to queue up before he could make a transaction and leave from there. In his silence waiting for the queue, he thought of the worst possibility.

"Sir, are there any security tools for friends with benefits relationships?"

Note: Friends with benefits refers to a friendship that involves bed activities. 'Benefits' here leads to the satisfaction of the beds one gets with each other.

Bian immediately choked on hearing the question from the woman who had just come to the cashier. Bian did not go to high school, but at least he knew the meaning of what the woman who was not far from him had just said.

"Is there?" Arga came to follow by asking the woman.

Bian who realized that the woman was the woman he saw with Arga immediately threw his face in the other direction, trying to cover his face from Nuna's husband. He didn't do that because he was afraid of Arga. He just avoided a fight with Arga. He was worried that if the man saw himself, it made Arga's emotions reappear and cause a commotion in public places. He was ashamed to imagine it.

A few moments in a tense situation. Bian finally managed to get out of the supermarket safely. Not yet finished his mind by helping Nuna about work, he was overwhelmed with new realities that he saw with his own eyes.

As expected, a foolish man like Nuna's husband would go that far. How could God allow Nuna to marry such a man?
