Still on the way to Zaina's place of work. Gevin was thinking about how he could tell about Lolyta right now. Several times Gevin glanced at Zaina who was just sitting still while throwing her gaze out the window, looking at every sight outside the car window.
"Za, I found Lolyta..." Gevin tried to look at the expression of his woman as she began to speak. "...He was very sick, and all this time he left me because he didn't want to bother me with that pain"
Zaina did not look surprised, she turned her head and looked at Gevin. But from his gaze was a look of sadness. "Then, what are you going to do right now?"
"I want to accompany him to heal, no matter how I feel guilty because he's been sick all this time and I don't know about it. I did not accompany him on his hardest day, while he was always there for me under any circumstances. I'll also help with her medical expenses, because in this town she doesn't have anyone"
Zaina nodded, she tried to restrain herself from crying. According to him, what Gevin said is still reasonable, considering how their relationship is fine, first. Lolyta disappeared too for this reason. It's not because he doesn't love Gevin anymore.
"All right, the important thing is that we're still going through this wedding charade well. I know that Lolyta needs you more right now"
Stupid Zaina! Why say it like that? You want to be seen if you're okay? Yeah, I'll keep trying to be okay.
It was not that Zaina did not maintain the firmness of her current household. It's not that she doesn't defend her husband, but what she has to do when she doesn't even have her husband's heart. This marriage happened just because of a charade.
"It's not so Za, I just want to help Lolyta get back to healing. That's it"
"Yes, I understand"
Gevin looked at Zaina who turned her face towards the car window. Until the car stops in front of the school gate where Zaina teaches. Gevin didn't let Zaina down.
"Darling, listen to me first..." Gevin turned Zaina's body to look at her. He held his wife's hand. "...I'm just accompanying her to heal, I'm just helping her"
Zaina sighed softly, she knew what this husband meant. "Yes, I understand"
It is also impossible for you to say that you will marry her after she is healed at this time. I know if you still feel bad for me.
"Yaudah Mas, I go in first huh. You're careful in her path" Zaina kisses the back of her husband's hand which is countered with a kiss on his forehead by Gevin.
"Yes her work spirit"
Zaina nodded, she got straight down from inside the car. Walk into the school area. Looking at the children who were still running around in the field, Zaina's smile just rose. All the burdens in his mind seemed to be gone when he was in this kind of school atmosphere.
Enter the teacher room and greet the other teachers who have come first there. Zaina sat down at her desk in the teacher's room, picking up some books she had to bring back to class after she checked out yesterday.
"Mis Zaina, is this Miss married or is she not?" ask a middle-aged teacher sitting at the table next to Zaina. On the table was his name, Cicin.
Zaina smiled kindly at that Mother Cicin. "Yes, I'm married. Just over a month married"
"Well, it's warm. Whose husband dong, I've never seen. We know dong"
"Yes Mom, I'll introduce you sometime"
Grateful for being in her new workplace, Zaina still finds people who are kind to her, though not necessarily sincere.
"If you'll excuse me, everyone, I'd like to share a children's workbook"
"Good Mom"
"You guys don't run around, what if you fall? Fear will also harm others"
The two boys looked down, both of them knowing that they were wrong. "Sorry Myself"
"Here you go, you go back to class"
"Good Mis"
As Zaina tidied the books there was a pair of burly hands outstretched to help her. Zaina looked up and she saw a handsome man with a tall sturdy body.
"Mis Zaina huh?" he asked when he had finished cleaning up the fallen books.
Zaina just nodded in response. They stood back up after all the books were in his hands.
The man extended his hand to Zaina. "I'm Aldo, the gym teacher here"
Zaina smiled, she received a helping hand. "I'm Zaina, teaching English here"
Aldo nodded, he looked at Zaina with a smile. "Let me help you take these books to class, Miss. I still have no class"
Zaina nodded, she was not the type of woman who liked to refuse help from someone who was sincere about wanting to help her.
"Thank you Mr. Aldo"
"Call Aldo if it's just the two of us, Mis. I feel old when Mis calls me Father" he said with a chuckle
Zaina smiled hearing that, she gave a small nod. "Alright Aldo, then just call me Zaina. When I call you Aldo, if you still call me Mis"
"Alright Zaina"
Both look more able to adjust the chat because it seems like their age is also not too far away. Zaina feels like she found a new friend who is the same age as her at this school.
Aldo kept the books he carried on the teacher's desk in sixth grade. The class Zaina will be teaching this morning.
"Thank you Aldo"
"Yes Zaina, same. Then I go out first. The kids are coming to class soon"
Zaina nodded and let Aldo pass from there. And sure enough the bell sign has rung. Many of the children in red and white uniforms ran into the classroom and sat on their benches.
A class leader immediately took the lead to say hello to Zaina as their teacher this morning.
"Good morning children, introduction Miss Zaina. I will share your assignment books that were collected with Mrs. Weni last week"
Zaina started teaching him in this class. By starting to share the task book collected yesterday. Actually, the task given to the sixth grade children, is a task given by the previous teacher one week ago. Because now she's on maternity leave, so Zaina's the one who took the place to check and share this sixth grade children's workbook.
