CHAPTER 40

Aiden felt his plan was ruined. He thought Evelyn would tell him to come in, give him a drink that Aiden had planned to "not drink", and then Aiden would have Evelyn take a bath or make food for him so he could find something there. What happened was an attack on him. 'Focus Aiden..Ok, food.' he thought.

"Please make me some fried rice. I want to eat first, I have no energy if I'm hungry" he said.

"You forgot I never ate rice? Order online only." Evelyn was happy to see Aiden's change. He approached Aiden wanting to hug him.

"You haven't had a shower yet? Take a shower, let it be fragrant. So it's good 'play.'" Aiden had to smile for his acting. Evelyn who heard that, immediately smiled happily. Kiss Aiden's lips, then whisper "Wait for me."

After Evelyn died, Aiden immediately looked for something that even he did not know what it was. He went into Evelyn's room and saw Darren lying there. Aiden opened the desk drawer that was there. He didn't find anything. He felt his struggle there was in vain. Then he saw Evelyn's bag hanging. About five bags. Aiden had to be quick, he could still hear the sound of the shower from inside the bathroom. One by one the bags were opened. And he found the wallet in the fourth bag. Aiden opened it and checked the contents. Multiple money sheets, KTP, SIM, debit card, credit card, multiple member cards... Wait, Aiden saw something strange from one of the credit cards he had passed earlier. He saw the platinum card, Felix Suhendra. The name was the same as the name of the recipient of the invitation card that Evelyn brought to her office. This is it!! Aiden pulled out his phone and photographed the card. He cleaned things up, took Darren in his arms, and got out of the apartment as soon as possible. Evelyn could only cry hysterically to find her apartment empty. He should have realized Aiden's attitude. But Evelyn who had missed him so much could no longer think using his logic. He pulled out his phone, called someone.

"Send the photo to the address I chatted. NOW!!" Evelyn looked angry.

"You forced me to do this, Aiden, don't blame me!" Evelyn said still with a towel wrapped around her body.

Richie follows Airin's car from behind, worried about letting her drive in such conditions. He saw Airin from a distance, took the key of the house hidden in one of the flower pots on the porch of the house, then went inside. Richie's coming home.

"What do you mean? Say it! I'm sure you know something." Aiden looks calmer, he believes Richie knows why Airin didn't come home from what he said about Aiden and Evelyn.

"Now!! Airin saw that yesterday." Richie throws some photos over his desk. Aiden came closer and saw it. I can't believe Evelyn's behavior. Turns out he hired someone for his stinking ploy. Aiden tries to convince Richie, telling him all his chronology. Richie tried to weigh what he heard from Aiden with what he saw from the photo. And he chose to believe in Aiden. But wait's..

"You said Felix Suhendra?" ask Richie. Aiden nodded.

"My um is also named Felix Suhendra, but I'm not sure it's the same person. I love his wife very much. Maybe just the same name." continued Richie. He then tells Aiden that Airin is returning to his old house. Richie really hoped they could resolve the misunderstanding. Aiden did not wait any longer to catch Airin there.
