CHAPTER 32
"Aiden..." Evelyn entered Aiden's room without a knock on the door or a phone call from Valen.
"Sorry sir, I..." Valen followed behind Evelyn. Aiden sent Valen out. He does not like if his employees see the commotion in the office. Evelyn throws a red gold invitation card onto Aiden's desk. Aiden of course knows what the card is. Which she didn't understand, why Evelyn had it.
"You want to get married? Two more weeks?" evelyn asked in her high tone.
"Yes, do you know Airin? It's just that he can't come to your meeting with Darren. Afraid to bother you, she said." Aiden looks relaxed.
"I wasn't ready Darren had a mother besides me." Evelyn sat in the front seat of Aiden's desk.
"Mother? You just came in two weeks ago and already pretending to be a mother? I thank you for giving birth to Darren. But it's not enough to treat everything. The wounds you gave me and Darren are already too deep." Aiden would no longer stand his back to Evelyn. He just sat there quietly. Staring sharply at Evelyn.
"I've come, baby. I came to treat that wound. I promise I won't be leaving again. I can leave France for you, for the sake of our son." Evelyn cried. Aiden was not affected by those tears. Her heart really died for Evelyn three years ago.
"Enough. I don't care about your career. If necessary you can go back there to France or to the poles, and don't come back here again. Darren doesn't need you."
"Who said Darren doesn't need me?? I'll make you realize that Darren needs me the most. She doesn't need a stepmother. I don't want Darren taken care of by a stepmother. Where's the widowed stepmother, had a child anyway." Evelyn's uncontrolled emotions made Aiden angry.
"Hey!! Enough's enough!! Never insult Airin! I will not hesitate to report your actions so that your right to meet Darren is reduced to once a month, or even once a year. Or will never meet." threatened Aiden. The threat got Evelyn out of there.
'Fuck him! How dare to insult Airin.' Aiden managed to hold back his emotions. If only Evelyn wasn't a girl. Buuuk. Aiden picked up the invitation card Evelyn had brought earlier. Mr. Felix Suhendra. Aiden seems to know that name, his papa colleague. 'Quiet Aiden, don't ruin your day just because of him.'Aiden let out his breath trying to calm down.

Last night before the wedding. Airin, Mama Rianti, and Vely stayed at the hotel where the event would be held.
"Ma, Airin has told Mama Shinta, he also agrees that mama will stay with Airin in his house. Yes, ma.." pinta Airin. Vely was already asleep in the middle of their bed.
"Thank you for thinking about your mother. But Om Teddy has prepared a room for mama in Bandung. Later if mama comes here, mama will definitely stay at your house. Mom promise. Keep your house now want to be rented?" ask Rianti.
"Not yet Ma, later. There's a lot of our stuff too. Mom, thank you for all your support. Airin can't be strong without mom." Airin hugged her mother.
"Mama thank you Rin..Still had time to see you happy with Vely." mama Rianti cried happily. Airin was crying too.
"Already, don't cry. Cook the eyes of the bride tomorrow??" continued. They fall asleep, hoping that tomorrow's happiness isn't a dream.
