CHAPTER 19

Airin's first weekend after Aiden's love confession. They plan to take Darren and Vely to karaoke. Airin took the initiative so that they should meet at the family karaoke place directly.

Airin arrived at room 206 with Vely, it turns out Aiden and Darren have arrived first.

"Sister Darren.." call Vely out loud.

"Mama didn't say there was Darren" he continued. Aiden was always happy to see Vely's agility.

"Hi, Darren. How are you doing? Daddy said, Darren wants to teach Vely to sing in English?" Darren nodded to Airin.

Aiden did tell Darren to teach Vely karaoke an English song. And luckily, Darren agreed.  Vely and Darren seemed to be enjoying the moment a lot. At times Aiden clasped Airin's hand and kissed him. Without the knowledge of the children.

Three hours of karaoke. They continued for lunch which was a bit late. They entered a Japanese restaurant. Just sat down. Someone called Airin.

"Airin, how can I be with Mr Aiden?" Hannah approached them and released her arm...Richie's.

"We..." Aiden wanted to answer but his sentence was cut off by Airin.

"We've got karaoke kids, they happen to be in school." What an absurd answer.

Hannah was a little confused but she felt it was unethical to continue asking.

"Save us away." Aiden offers.

"By, Richie here yuk." Hannah called out to Richie who was standing about three meters from their table.

Richie approaching. He felt claustrophobic like dejavu when he met the same portrait in front of a seafood restaurant a few weeks ago. 'Until when should I feel this, Lord? So hurt's'.

"Hi Richie, sit here yuk." Aiden greets Richie who looks strange in his opinion. Wrong something. Aiden's feelings were always right about something like this.

"Where are you from?" Airin felt she had to break the silence between herself and Richie.

"We just arrived. The plan was to eat here." replied Hannah. Hannah felt Richie suddenly change his mood. Richie just had a casual chat with her in the car. There is something strange about this situation.

Aiden and Hannah who thought that this lunch together would be exciting, turned out to be just crowded with the chatter of Vely who was not stopping talking.

Arriving at home to drop Darren off, Aiden called Airin.

"Don't, I still want to meet. I'm going home." Yeah." Aiden made Airin smile on the other end.

Once there, Airin exited, got into Aiden's car. Same peach dress as before.

"Yuk, let's just walk. Vely slept from earlier on the way home." take Airin.

"Where are you going Ai?"

"Beach yuk..I feel claustrophobic.." Airin looks a little somber and serious.

Aiden drove his car in a quiet about an hour, at 16:20, they reached a fairly deserted beach. Aiden only felt he had to take Airin to a beach that was not too crowded. The assumptions and decisions Aiden takes are usually quite precise, which is why he can be as successful now without the shadow of his father again.

Airin got out of the car, headed to a long chair by the beach. Aiden followed him from behind.

Ten minutes passed in silence. Airin enjoyed the sound of the waves sounding beautiful in her ears. While Aiden enjoyed the white face of Airin's hue from the side. Airin who felt noticed immediately turned towards Aiden.

"Sorry, am I weird?" airin.

"Ga..Your attitude is sweet, I can be a good listener. If you're interested in Ai." Aiden smile.

"I used to be with Nathan who likes to go to the beach." Airin begins the story by naming "Nathan". Aiden tried to control his sudden jealousy.

"Then he left, during that time I never went to the beach. Just this once, with you." he continued, turning to Aiden. At once, Aiden's feelings warmed up.

"I've set my heart to face all these fears. Here, I want Nathan to see and bless us from there." Airin took Aiden's hand, grasped it tightly. Aiden pulled Airin into his arms. Kissing the woman's forehead has made her pound strongly. Airin returned the hug. He felt the same warmth as he hugged Nathan. No. gabe... It's diff.. Airin felt Aiden's embrace not only warmed her up, but protected her. 'I can no longer compare Aiden to Nathan. It's not my escape, I really like it, maybe slowly I can love it.' Inner Airin said honestly.
