CHAPTER 22

Richie takes Hannah to dinner at a restaurant. Richie looks handsome as always. Jeans combined with ripped jeans make it like a 20-year-old teenager. Hannah began to change her appearance since she was close to Richie. In the past he would definitely dress up totally if going out of the house, demands work. He never knew when the journalist would come to interview him. Now Hannah looks like a teenager in general. His age of 21 makes him look like 17. And he likes his current appearance. Richie changed it for the better, he thought.

"Hannah, I want to talk about something" Richie said after he and Hannah finished their dinner.

Dag.dig..This is the time. Hannah hoped in her heart.

"I'm sorry, for now I still like other people. It's not that I don't like you, everyone will easily like you. You are amazing. But my feelings for her are too deep, it's hard for me to forget." Richie said quietly, trying to pick the right words so as not to hurt Hannah.

"She is Airin, right?" guess Hannah, and that silenced Richie who was actually preparing the next sentence.

"Silent you answered it was all Richie." continued Hannah.

"Yes, you're right." Richie smiled bitterly.

"The feeling for her almost lasted 10 years Han. I could be going out with you or going out with another girl. But you're too good to be lied to, I mean, at least I have to be honest about how I feel." Richie continued.

"But we saw it with Mr. Aiden yesterday. Are they..." Hannah did not continue her sentence. But Richie knows what Hannah means.

"Yes you're right. I heard from Vina, my best friend and Airin, that they're made. I just found out that Aiden is a widower. I've been abroad for a long time, not knowing the gossip in Indonesia, it turns out Airin doesn't know about it either."

"Airin knows you love her?" ask Hannah.

"She knew, two or three weeks ago I told her. And I was rejected. He can't think of me as more than a friend." Richie was sad to remember the incident.

"He loves you Ric, but he's probably just a friend." Hannah sees the sadness in Richie's eyes. Hannah was confused about what to say. He's disappointed for sure. But she's happy Richie's been honest about his feelings. At least what he will live with Richie later is not a relationship with falsehood.

"Hannah, now I'm trying to release Airin. I don't want him to be overwhelmed by my feelings. I hope you don't mind that." Hannah was trying to digest what Richie said. But he still did not find the answer.

"I mean, I can't stay close to you after you hear all this." Richie explained further.

Hannah surprised. Afraid she'll only serve as an outlet for Richie's disappointment, as Richie's escape, but Hannah doesn't want to lose the chance to get Richie. Basic bucin acutely, it only took three seconds for Hannah to nod. He smiled warmly at Richie. Wishing her smile could win Richie's heart.

"Thank you Han. I'll try my best, I hope you can understand if this all takes time." Richie held Hannah's hand. Hannah likes it, really likes Richie. I don't know his appearance, attitude, style of speech. All about Richie. And Hannah is also determined, not only Richie who tries, he will try desperately to win Richie's heart. Some day. Sure.
