CHAPTER 12

Grand Opening Xander Park will be held at 10pm today. The RAF team has been on the move and preparing since 6am. The wreaths already filled the parking lot outside XP Mall. Aiden seemed busy welcoming some important guests who came. The event was a big event thanks to MC Hannah Fang. The RAF team was only able to rest after the time showed at 2pm.

"Eat first Rin, you don't go back and forth a lot donk, new legs heal too" said Richie.

"Yes, eat with yuk."

They entered into a restaurant in the newly opened XP Mall. After eating, they drive home in Richie's car. Arriving at the car in front of Airin's house, Richie ventured to hold Airin's hand. Airin looked shocked and was not ready for it.

"Rin, I think I'd go crazy if I didn't talk about this as soon as possible. Sorry, you must be surprised. But you can also guess what I feel. I know I promised not to talk about this. But sorry once again Rin, I feel I would have lost you if I hadn't started. It's okay if I fail, as long as I've tried. From the first moment I told you that I like you, my feelings have never changed Rin. I tried to forget you back in America. But meeting you again makes the feeling of love even stronger." Richie's still holding Airin's hand.

"Richie I.ga can. Excuse me. You're too good for me, Ric. Thank you for your honesty, but I really can't." Airin pulled his hand slowly.

"We can try Rin first, I sincerely love you and Vely." Richie pleading.

"I know you're sincere, I can handle it.But I can't Ric. I don't want us to talk about this because I'm afraid this could ruin our friendship."

"Your mom once called me. He asked me to refuse you if something like this happened. I can't refuse him because I know he never demeans me. I could hear from Ric's voice, the voice of a mother who asked sincerely for the happiness of her son." Airin was finally honest.

"My happiness is you Rin." Richie's voice went up.

"I need you more as Richie's best friend. That's the best." Airin insisted.

"Alright Rin, I appreciate your choice. My feelings are sincere from the past until now. And that sincerity is for your happiness, not mine. I believe that if you want to be happy, love must come from both of us, not just me. But I don't know, loving you in silence is happiness for me. Come in, you must be tired." Airin got out of the car and into his house.

Richie took a long breath. He does not know the decision to express his feelings right or wrong. Richie only feels he has to make a move after knowing that Aiden is a widower. Yes, he overheard Aiden's conversation with a friend during the opening of XP Mall earlier. Richie feels Aiden treats Airin differently. At least that's what Richie feels as a fellow man. And everything perfectly failed plus the interference of his mother. Richie always relented with Mama Desy because his mother had heart disease. And Richie's the only boy in the Andirawan family. His sister, Victoria, is studying in the Netherlands.
