CHAPTER 30

Since Evelyn's arrival, Aiden's days have never been quiet. Tomorrow he will go to Airin's house. His parents decided to apply for Airin. Aiden convinced them, and he told Airin. There is no surprise proposal in the middle of the crowd like in the movies. Aiden only conveyed his true intention to more quickly strengthen their bond.

Aiden passed Evelyn's case to his lawyer. He does not want to be in direct contact with Evelyn to keep Airin feeling. Evelyn is allowed to meet Darren on Sunday, after Aiden proposes to Airin. Of course Evelyn did not know about the proposal.

Mama Rianti was preparing lunch which some bought by Airin. She didn't want her mom to be too tired to cook. Airin also prepared some sweet snacks purchased at his subscription cake shop. At about 11 p.m., Aiden's family arrived, including Darren and DK. DK is about 22 years old, is pursuing S2 at the University of Indonesia majoring in international business. He believes education in Indonesia is no less than abroad. The parasite is quite handsome, just a few centimeters below Aiden. Aiden's parents brought two boxes of cookies. Aiden brought a bouquet of red roses. DK was carrying two bottles of wine tied in red tape. Darren brought a lollipop and a chocolate bar to Vely.

Mama Rianti, Airin, and Vely came out to greet them. After greeting, Vely invited Darren to play in his room.

"Mother Rianti must have heard the meaning of our arrival here." papa Aiden said. Rianti nodded with a smile.

"But let me reiterate our intention to apply for Airin to be Aiden's son-in-law. But as Rianti's mother knows, Aiden already has Darren. I hope you don't mind about it." continued Aiden's father politely. Rianti is glad Airin got a candidate-in-law like them. Not all rich people have the humility that they do.

"I accept the good intentions of Father, Mother, and also Aiden. I don't mind Darren at all, and Airin does. And seeing your good intentions here, I assume you also do not mind the existence of Vely."

"Of course not Bu Rianti. Vely was beautiful, it was adorable to imagine her and Darren running around inside our house." mama Shinta said excitedly.

"When will they get married?" shinta. The question made Aiden and Airin exchanged glances, as if waiting for each other's answers. Finally, Airin answered.

"We haven't talked about it yet Ma" he told Shinta. Aiden also wanted to answer, but lost quickly by his mother.

"Don't dawdle. Good intentions should be encouraged. What about next month? Later mama help arrange." Shinta's question is like a statement that is difficult to refute.

"We don't want to invite much Ma." Airin looked at Aiden as if asking for his help.

"Ga many kok dear, at most only a thousand invitations." Shinta's answer made Airin round his eyes, Aiden just smiled at the behavior of his mother.

"Have you forgotten Chris' exhibit tomorrow?" Airin reminded.

"Jeez, I guess next week. Please, tell Richie." please Aiden.

"Ga can donk Aiden. Moreover impromptu gini, we have no back up personnel. Never mind, I believe in you, it's only been two hours, right?"

"Yes, two hours." Aiden. It is impossible to force Airin to be unprofessional in his work.

"So you said Darren? How's reaction?" ask Airin.

"I told you her old mother wanted to see you. But it could only be two hours. And I also said, later Evelyn's mom can't stay with us because Evelyn's mom already has her own family. That's what Ai was about.I was also confused by what I was talking about. Maybe slowly Darren can understand for himself. We will marry again. You don't mind a thousand invitations?" ask Aiden.

"Began deh.we have promised not to discuss things like this. Trust me, my extended family are all modern-minded. Moreover, this is papa's son-in-law, no one will dare to talk to us. Ok?" Aiden convinced Airin.

Aiden's having trouble sleeping. Darren and Evelyn's meeting tomorrow made her anxious. He was just afraid that Evelyn was speaking beyond bounds. Tomorrow morning he has to remind Evelyn some things before she meets Darren. They arranged it at a restaurant. Aiden did not want Evelyn to come to his house because he had not told his parents about the matter. Aiden actually did not expect Evelyn to come home, especially when she was dating Airin. Perhaps this was the reason Aiden wanted to hasten his marriage to Airin, so that no one would bother his family anymore.
