My Bow to the Destiny of Love

My Bow to the Destiny of Love
The uncertain fate

Ardian smiled until he got into the car. After deciding to go to the Office in a Dodit car, Ardian sat down with a henchman next to the steering chair.

They sat for a long time, but Dodit had not run his car.

"Why hasn't the car gone too, Dit?" Ardian glanced at Dodit on the sidelines of his busyness staring at the tab in his hand. I heard heavy breathing from Dodit. "I just still can't believe you saw your interaction with your wife earlier, Ar."

"Why? The feeling you've been used to seeing me interact with her."

Dodit flicked his lips. "You often don't know the place. Let alone in a house where you are powerful. In the office you are like that."

"I'm in the office too, Dit."

"Yes but at least you appreciate the existence of other employees who are working."

"I have my own room, Dit. Wrong himself into people's room without typing the door."

Dodit. "I never forget to knock on the door, Ar. You're the one who didn't hear because you're preoccupied with your wife."

"Are you uncomfortable, seeing me like that?" Ardian glanced back at Dodit.

"No.." Dodit answered with a straight forward look. "What am I worried about. Actually, I only feel so small when I see such a happy and romantic couple like you. I. I have had a bad romance in the past."

Ardian stared at Dodit. Closing the tab in his hand, putting it in his briefcase. "Have you ever been married?" I asked with an expression I couldn't guess.

Dodit. "Not miss a bit. You're right, Ar. I was married and almost had a child. But the woman left me when I fell into the abyss of her love. I was frustrated at that time. But, from that failure I began to learn to understand something that I had to learn. I learned to understand the character of women. I don't blame that woman entirely for leaving me. Maybe it was because I was poor back then, so everyone hated me. Everyone blamed me. To the extent that all of my older sisters don't want to acknowledge me anymore as their brother."

"AstagfiruAstagfirullahal'adhim..."

Dodit glanced at Ardian. "That's it, Ar, that's just the past. The past is not good to remember. The past is worth learning. What is worth fighting for is the future. Isn't that so, Mr General Manager?"

"Not so many times, sir called it."

Dodit smiled bitterly. "We're leaving now?"

"You should have run the car." Ardian glanced at his watch. "We've been fifteen minutes idle in the car. I should be until half-eight. But sometimes late, it's okay. I'm a kind-hearted Boss, who faithfully hears the curses of his loyal personal assistant."

"Most of your semicolons. Bismillah..." Dodit drove his car out of the gate. Satpam looked down respectfully as the car came out of the gate of the house.

*******

"Darling...!" Ardian shouted as he could not hear his wife's voice answering greetings from the phone.

"Yes, what's up, Mom. Adzra peed this first. She won't pee in her diapers."

"Why can that be?"

"Just a minute, Mas.don't talk first..!" Chayra yelled a little because she put her phone in a place a little far from where she was sitting waiting for her son to finish peeing.

"Why use contacting the wife of all. You can buy lunch at the cafe. Seneng really ngerepotin wife. How sweet of you to be a husband."

"Who told you to finish the lunch I brought. Kirain Chay isn't tired of what it's all about."

"I've been confiding in you. You're one of the lucky ones to know my past. Amazingly, my stomach immediately felt hungry again after telling you my biggest secret."

"Aren't most of you bothering me? Whose files are always preparing for you?"

Ardian realized that he was contacting his wife when the phone rang loudly."Aladdin, Dit. You didn't talk to me until I forgot I was on the phone with Chay."

Dodit waved softly while giggling. Get out of Ardian's room while closing the door very slowly.

"Yes, sorry darling. The Dodit invited me to debate everything. I forgot to talk to you."

"Hmm. pantesan called-call not horrified. What were you saying, Mom?"

"Send lunch, honey. The provisions that I brought this morning were eaten by Dodit."

"Oh my God, my. Why not call from earlier. It's already half twelve. Where is enough time to cook first."

"You can come at one o'clock. I started the meeting at two. If you don't have time to cook, bring the breakfast menu this morning is also okay."

"It's over, Mom. I'm going to the kitchen now. Adzra hasn't bobo yet." Chayra sounded panicked. Ardian is not. Imagine his wife going back and forth to the kitchen while calming her son. He memorized his son's ritual before going to bed. Adzra will be very fussy if it is sleepy. "If you're overwhelmed, it's okay to eat at the cafe."

"I'll work, Mas. Hopefully Adzra won't fuss later."

"Thank you, sweetheart. I await your arrival. I work again.."

"Eh, don't get your hopes up, Mom. Your son is not sleeping. It usually takes half an hour to get him to sleep soundly."

"I will still expect your arrival. Who would not expect the arrival of his wife. Or you want me to have a meal with the Secretary of Directors that Dodit told me about at home breakfast this morning. You'll hear it yourself that she's a brave woman."

Chayra smiled cynically at the threat of her husband. "Heh, just do it if Mas Ardian thinks it's true. Eating a table with a non-Mahram is not forbidden by religion. Those who are forbidden do things that violate the rules of religion. I'm closing, assalamu'alaikum.." Chayra hung up the phone unilaterally. That surprised Ardian. If the big madam gets angry, it'll be a long story. Maybe he does not get the inner provision in the next few days. Chayra never refused if her husband asked for rations, however angry she was. But, back again to the bad taste of having a feud and then suddenly ask to be served.

Pov Ardian...

I kept the phone away from my ear when the disconnected ringing interfered with my sense of hearing. I was quite surprised because Chay rarely cut off phone calls unilaterally. Is this woman really angry because I threatened with another woman earlier.

I tried calling again. But, until I tried twice, Chay didn't answer. I got up and walked to the window that led straight to the highway. I stood there waiting for his answer, but still nil.

May Chay be in the kitchen to cook a nice meal for her husband. I must remain husnudzon as my wife always said. Don't let Satan fool me when I'm not calm like this.

I heard the door being knocked, but I ignored it. As I stared at the door, Dodit entered with the Secretary of Directors. I finally approached them and sat on the sofa. At first glance I noticed the Secretary of Directors sitting in front of me. His face looks very unfriendly. Even impressed sangar according to me. Dodit said he's Mr. Randi's cousin. Pantesan can immediately get a high position. This woman also looks older than me. But. she is still beautiful despite the face of the sangar. So, she's a woman. If he was a man, he must be handsome. Wkwkwk...

"Father read again the file that Mr. Dodit submitted this morning. There's a little change."

I just nodded while picking up the file that happened to still be on the same table. I pretended to concentrate on listening to his explanation even though this heart was still thinking about my fate later. Is Chay angry or is she busy cooking food for me.

"Only three points have changed. You just read it and give input if there is content that Mr. Ardian does not agree with."

"Good, Mom. Thanks..."

Mother Secretary immediately said goodbye because there is still much work to be completed.
