My Bow to the Destiny of Love

My Bow to the Destiny of Love
Strange request?

The ghibran and the mysterious person who turns out to be Rudi are staring at Chayra's departure.

"I want to see her husband's reaction. Her husband Ayra's feeling is ugly." Rudi still does not believe the words of Chayra who said she was happy.

"Well? Let's just go. Just wasting time. You'll regret staying here."

"No, Ghi. His mouth sounded so spicy. I have to prove that this is not true. I'd spray it right away if I'd seen something weird later."

"Huh, it's up to you. I'll wait for you at the cafe next to the Campus building."

"Can't.." Rudi held Ghibran's hand ready to pass. "Lho also had to witness everything."

"I don't want to get hurt any further. It's been enough of the wounds he's created." Ghibran stomped his hand until it slipped from Rudi's grasp.

Rudi just gawked at the detached hand of the Ghibran. However, he had no intention of following Ghibran's lead. Really curious about the wedding Chayra lived. His eyes looked back at Chayra who was standing near the entrance.

For a second he waited until Ardian finally came out of the counter. Little hid his body in the big tree to keep the couple from seeing.

"Hey, why are you crying, honey?" Ardian was surprised to find his wife was as excited in front of the counter. "I'm late, huh..?" She wiped away Chayra's tears with her thumb.

"No. We're going home now, brother. I'm not feeling well."

Ardian pensively for a moment. "I wouldn't dare to piggyback on you if you weren't feeling well. I'm afraid you're why." Cupping his wife's worried face. "Well, where's your niqab, Chay?" Just realized that Chayra wasn't wearing her veil.

"I threw up from earlier, brother. I put it in the bag. I'll wear it again."

Ardian breathed a heavy sigh. Pulling Chayra into his arms. "I'm sorry, Chay. I didn't accompany you earlier. Let's just sit under that shady tree. You need a fresh wind. You need more oxygen."

"I've been sitting there since. But still my stomach's nauseous."

Ardian was silent at last. Don't know what to say. He just tightened his embrace. Fortunately, their position was on the sidelines. So it does not block the way of people who come in and out.

"Mm.. Maybe you need a place to lean from earlier."

"Hmm.. can the phone?"

"Yes.alhamdulilah. I guess a phone that doesn't use a camera that costs that much. Turns out I got a big phone." Ardian chuckled softly at his stupidity. Stepping slowly in a position still hugging his wife. Until they realized that they reached under the shady tree that Ardian meant.

"If you don't use a camera that's five hundred thousand you can, brother." Let go of her husband's embrace. He sat his body on the bench where he talked with Rudi earlier.

Ardian smiled. It was easy to distract his wife. Retracting Chayra's body so that the girl can lean on her shoulder.

From that place, Rudi can more freely hear the conversation of the two people because of their position adjacent. He sat down on the bench next to him with his back to Ardian and Chayra. Pretending to be busy with the phone. He had his ears set wide for eavesdropping.

"I'm hungry, brother."

"So they say you're full when I eat."

"The food is nothing good. Everything is bland, bitter."

Ardian let out a heavy breath. It was obvious that the food was delicious. But, maybe all that is not good on the tongue of his pregnant wife. "Keet you want to eat what dong, if the food is good you say not good."

Chayra thought. Imagine what food would taste good in his mouth. "Mmm. I think young oranges taste good on my tongue." Chayra toyed with the buttons of her husband's shirt.

"Well...!" Ardian gasped at his wife's strange request. He immediately took off his embrace. Clutching Chayra's shoulder while looking at her in wonder. "That's right, Chay. The orange fruit that is like that is definitely wry. Aseeem..." Ardian shuddered in horror at the thought of young citrus fruits touching his tongue.

"Usually people crave it want to eat rujak or young mango. How come you're weird, want to eat young oranges."

"But I can get you a fruit like that, honey? Ripe ones are rare now, let alone young ones."

Chayra immediately pouted. Imagining the fruit made his saliva almost fall. "Usaha dong, Brother. This is the brother I bear."

"Yes I know that. I'll work on it later. I'm sorry, honey. I'll get that fruit till I get it. Even if I had to steal all of them in the neighbor's garden." Finally, he gave up because he did not want to argue anymore. According to stories from her friends, the pregnant woman was very sensitive to her feelings. A little bit of wrong talk can make you cry.

"Absolutely." Chayra hit Ardian's chest. "I don't want my son to eat unclean things."

"And that's my son. If I do, want to eat anything that matters he does not lighten if born later."

"Can't be anyway. I still don't want to. Either way, you should get young citrus fruits in a halal way."

"Much sensitive. I'm kidding, honey." Ardian pinched his wife's cheek.

"You ah,"

"How are you now. Is it like that or better?"

"Alhamdulillah, it's light."

"Can we go home?"

"Mm. but this is Ashar's Adhan. Do we not pray first?"

"Can, come. I often feel bad about praying late now."

"Alhamdulillah then. That means that Brother has progress. It's been a better person."

"Alhamdulillah." They stepped out of the place. Go back to the campus area to establish prayer.

Rudi was stunned to hear all the conversations of the couple. Still can't believe that Chayra does sound happy with her marriage. He could only open his eyes a few times. Stepping slowly left the place just like Chayra and Ardian did.

********

Ardian went around the complex looking for citrus fruits. How many Supermarkets have he come to look for citrus fruits. Although not a young orange, the important citrus fruit. However, the fruit was empty stock.

Ardian took a short break on the bench that lined the sidewalk. For two days his wife wanted the fruit. But he had no sign of getting the fruit.

Glancing at the watch on his wrist. Time has shown at eight in the morning. She should have gone to the Shop to help with her in-laws work. However, he was still hesitant to step home, as he had yet to obtain the fruit.

"Well, what's Ardian boy doing here? Not to the shop to help her in-laws?"

Ardian looked up to see who greeted him. "Eh, Mrs Sulis. Anu, Mom, I'm looking for something."

Bu Sulis knitted his brows. "Is there anything you've lost?"

"No, Mom. That's not what I meant. Anu.. what is the name. mm.. Chay, uh Ayra wants to eat oranges. But, I've been around the complex looking for citrus fruits, none of which I've encountered any citrus trees are fruitful."

"Now it's not the season yet, son. Mm.. wait. You said Ayra wanted to eat oranges. Is she pregnant?"

"Eheheh, thank God, ma'am." Ardian smiled grimacingly. I was wrong to hear Mrs Sulis's question.
