My Bow to the Destiny of Love

My Bow to the Destiny of Love
Story behind the scenes

Ardian just held back a smile hearing Dodit's words. There was a sense of relief he felt after a major problem that had filled his head for the past two weeks came to a solution.

"Eh, you want to eat too? Bengong from earlier."

"Message as you ordered."

"I ordered chicken noodles, Ar. You can't eat spicy."

"Not to wear sambal. That's just a bother. Or replace it with rib soup only. To drink, I want orange juice."

Waiters passed after writing down Ardian's order. Dodit frowned glancing at Ardian in annoyance.

"Why look at me like that, Dit?"

"Lu said he had no money, so why order all rib soup?"

"We have to eat well so that the spirit of work to pay the debt. Grandpa has paid for everything, too."

"What?!" Dodit's eyes are perfectly rounded. "You didn't intentionally say the same to me. It's so bad to be a person."

Ardian just pulled the corner of his lips. He was again pensive to remember the series of events that befell him Pak Sucipto's departure suit. The hardest thing is to know that her mom is willing to spend money on things that are not important. This leads to debt that accumulates. It certainly opened Ardian's eyes to see, who the people who supported him in the moment he fell like this.

Three nights ago, Mr. Akmal suddenly came to visit his grandson's house. This, of course, makes Ardian and Chayra wonder. His grandfather never came without a reason. After sitting down and serving drinks by his grandson, then Mr. Akmal told him the purpose of his arrival.

Flashback...

That night..

Chayra had just climbed up and closed the door after welcoming her husband home from work. She put her husband's briefcase on the table near her dresser. Don't forget to get a change of clothes for Ardian. Suddenly the door to her room was knocked and Bi Idah's voice came from behind the door.

"Non Ayra, there's a Great Lord downstairs."

Chayra got up and opened the door. "What did the aunt say?"

"There's a Grand Master, Non. He came with a lot of men. Auntie got goosebumps looking at that much stocky body, Non."

"Aunt what the hell is that talking?"

"Non Ayra just come down first. The Great Lord is looking for Den Adzra as well, Non."

"Adzra is bobo, Bi. Aunty get off first. Tell Grandpa that I'm waiting for Mas Ardian to finish taking a shower. I'll take Adzra down even though he's bobo."

"Good, Non." Finally Bi Idah came down again to deliver a message from Chayra to Pak Akmal.

About ten minutes, Chayra went down to meet his grandfather with Adzra who was still bobo.

"Assalamu'alaikum, Cake." Don't forget Chayra kissed her grandfather's hand back and forth.

"Where's your husband, honey?"

"Still praying, Cake. I was going to wait for him to finish praying first and then I went down. But, Grandpa will be tired of waiting."

Mr. Akmal took Adzra from Chayra's lap. "Grandfather hear your in-laws live here now."

"Eh. Yes, Cake. Ayra forgot to say it to Grandpa."

"Grandfather knows you were intentional. Your parents-in-law had a lot of behavior. Where is he now?"

"Mommy's not home yet, Cake. He's at his friend's house having a big thanksgiving."

"Grandfather wants to talk to your husband. But, since he was still praying, Grandfather would wait for him until he was done."

"Grandpa has dinner with us. It just so happens that Mas Ardian hasn't eaten either."

"Grandfather ate, honey. It's okay if you guys want dinner first. Grandpa wants to play with Adzra while you're waiting." Mr. Akmal's hands began to disturb Adzra's sleep.

"Grandfather, he'll be even fussy if disturbed."

"Grandfather will be responsible if he's fussy."

Chayra could finally only sigh heavily at her grandfather's behavior.

Ardian sat down in front of Mr. Akmal after dinner. "How are you, Cake?"

"Good, very good. That's why Grandpa could be at your house tonight. Ayra, take your son first, Grandpa wants to have a serious talk with your husband."

"Grandpa there's a need with your husband, honey. Grandpa's gonna take responsibility if he can't sleep."

Chayra. "Where is that kayak. What's there if Grandpa's business is done must have run away."

"Hehehe. Grandpa will be home later."

Chayra took over her son with a ketus expression. Her nose of the kembis held back the upset. It made Mr. Akmal smile. Spontaneously his hand rubbed his grandson's head. "You're still Grandpa's little princess, honey."

"Mmmm." replied Chayra as she left the living room. Fortunately, Mr. Akmal had already expelled his aides to come out, so they did not witness the silliness that the man made.

After Chayra's departure, Ardian prepared himself to listen to whatever Mr. Akmal would say.

"Grandfather heard that your mom is in debt, is that right?"

Ardian took a deep breath before answering Pak Akmal's question. "Yes, Cake. And the burden of his responsibility is left to me now."

"Is your house and assets seized by the Bank yesterday not enough to pay the debt?"

Ardian shook his head weakly. "I've sold everything, Cake. Only the company's shares remained at five percent. I was forced to pay off Mami's debt. But, I can't give up everything."

Mr. Akmal furrowed his eyebrows while beristighfar. "Astagfirullahal.."

"And yesterday I was almost desperate, Cake. I intend to sell the shares to my office friends. All parties asked me to pay off the debt immediately. And they know that right now I don't have a handle at all."

Mr. Akmal took a deep breath. "How much stock do you own?"

"Seven billion, Cake."

"Can that amount get the debt done?"

For the umpteenth time Ardian shook his head weakly. "It's still less than thirty percent, Mother."

Mr. Akmal exhaled slowly while rubbing his face violently. "What did you eat, until that kind of money couldn't pay off the debt? If you keep going like this, your little family will be abandoned because you can't make a good living."

"I'm sorry, Mother. I don't want to be like this either. But, what should I do? If I let go, Mami will go to jail and I can't see Mami being tormented. I'm not a good kid, Cake. But, at least I should be able to take responsibility for her."

Akmal stared silently at Ardian. For a second he looked at Ardian who seemed to be trying to hold back his sadness. "Have you decided to sell that stock?"

"B. no, Cake. I still have a hard time doing that. If I sell it, Papi's only hard-earned product will run out too."

Mr. Akmal fell silent again. Didn't expect that his son-in-law's granddaughter could think that far.

"If Grandpa's willing, will Grandpa take over the stake. If Grandpa holds it, I'll be able to buy it back someday."

Mr. Akmal looked at Ardian closely. "Are you sure of what you said?"

"Yes, Cake. I was actually afraid to make this decision. But, if I were to deal with Grandfather, at least the path I would take in the future could be easier."

"How much debt is your burden?"

"...................."

Mr. Akmal nodded, as if he were considering Ardian's proposal. "Today we meet at the Dahlia Cafe. Bring me the files related to our conversation tonight. Grandpa will contact you if Grandpa changes his mind or changes the day of the agreement."

"Good, Cake. Thanks for the consideration."

"Grandfather hasn't decided yet, Ardian. Just hope Grandpa doesn't change his mind." Mr. Akmal got up from his seat. "Grandfather go home first. You prayed diligently so that Grandpa would not change his mind. Assalamu'alaikum..."

Flashback...

"Woi... Ar..." Dodit waved his hand in front of Ardian's face.

"Eh, what's up..?" Ardian blinked his eyes restoring his consciousness.

"My chicken is done. Your rib soup has not been touched. Are you fond of fantasizing from earlier?"

"When did it come?"

"Eh, ask again. I told you your soup was cold. If I had just finished it, you might not have realized it."

"Hehehe.." Ardian brought his bowl of rib soup closer. When he tasted the soup, it turned out that the sauce was already cold. Ardian glanced at Dodit while eating slowly.
