Life is a Process

The days pass so quickly. I've been here for a month and I feel like everything is going well. However, I have not heard from my mother and father this week. If I don't get the phone picked up by them. However, today I tried to contact them again because today I am off and not on campus.

The phone rang and Dad picked up my phone.

“Haloo Sonya.” said the father in a sad tone on the phone.

“Dad? What was? Why is dad sad?” my many.

“Nak, I got cheated on my business friend.” said dad.

“What? How about yah?” my many.

“All father's money was taken away. And dad's company broke son,” said father.

“What's yeah?! O Allah, so what about your life there father.” I said with surprise and sadness to hear the bad news.

“Im sorry dad son. I can no longer afford your college,” said the father with great sadness. As soon as these tears trickled, I really could not bear to see my father and mother in distress there.

“Dad don't need to think about my college. I am here for a scholarship and I live a fulfilled life, I am calm, yes.” said I want to calm my father's heart and not think much of me.

I cry hearing my father and mother now. I want to really go to college here and finish it soon so I can work to change my mom and dad's life as usual. Thank goodness the scholarship money that came out yesterday is still saved. This money is still enough for 1 semester until the scholarship money comes out again.

“Sonya! You why? Kog crying anyway?” asked Liana who came to me.

I was very sad when it immediately hugged Liana.

“Son.. Donk story, because Dimas yes?” said Liana who was wondering what was wrong with me.

“Not Li, not because of him.” said I who was crying was very sad.

“They went bankrupt and now live in distress.” I told Liana.

I just answered with a nod. Liana tried to calm my heart which at that time was very painful to hear the situation of my father and mother as bad as that. But what can I do! that's life. Sometimes we are up and sometimes we are down. We can't guess what's going to happen to us! Life is a Process.

It's been a week without news. I try not to think too much about it. What I am thinking about now is my success. I should be able to make my mom and dad happy. And they can change their lives again.

"Mrs, look at this!” liana said, showing me something.

“What is Li?” ask her.

“This is a ticket for us to watch,” said Liana.

“My money is still there and still enough Sonya. You calm down, dad and mom just sent.”, Liana said.

We were both getting ready to go to the movies. We went for a taxi. And on the way Liana started the conversation first.

“Son? How are you doing DImas?” ask Liana.

“Not knowing Li,” I replied cuek.

"Loh kog is that? you guys got into a fight?" liana said asking me.

“No Liana, I've tried to contact but not appointed. Keep me chat also no reply.” said I.

We bought pop corn first before going to the cinema.

“Son, we buy pop corn first yuk,” invite Liana.

“You!!” I said, surprised to see the man. Highlight his eyes were so sharp, and his dimples were visible as he smiled. But what a pity, a super cute guy.

“Why? You fell in love look me in the eye.” said the man.

“Before thank you for helping me so I don't fall. But you don't be too pity yes, sorry my candidate is better than you.” I said gently to him. This time I didn't want to make a fuss with that guy.

“My candidate is not here,” said Satya.

Satya left me and I still felt a little embarrassed by my words. I mocked him while I was like that too..

I went to see Liana and we went straight into the Cinema building. After watching, we went straight home. Afraid of going out again if you have to go for a walk.
