Memories of Dusk
Dusk Be a Witness

It's been a week, and tomorrow I'm going abroad to start my studies there. There is still a sense of uneasiness because of the fear of longing for father and mother. However, I believe I can definitely go through it all until my studies are over and I can go back to my country again.

As Dimas promised, before I left he wanted to take me to see dusk for last. We do this routine once a week. However, this week seems to be the last week for me to be able to see that twilight together with him for up to 4 years to come.

Dimas and I promised to meet at 5 this afternoon in front of the gate as usual.

“Aready?” asked Dimas when I approached him.

“Already, let's go.” I said.

“Come,” Dimas told me.

Along the way Dimas asked me to talk. He always advised me to always take care of my health later.

“You're there take care of your health. You are far from parents, eat regularly and study seriously.” said Dimas at length.

“Iya Dim's.. You also yes, do not like to wander if there,” I said.

“Haha you think I chicken like to wander,” Dimas said with a laugh.

“Idi... You are told even kidding,” I said.

“Iya yes.. You take it easy, I will always remember all your messages.” replied Dimas with my hand.

“You contact me often, yes,”.

“Iya.. Even though I am busy I will keep you informed even if only once,” said Dimas.

“Awas aja if enggak,” I said with threatening.

“Iya Sonya's.. You have to learn really there yes let the completion quickly and we quickly meet again.” said Dimas.

“Doain is best for me Dim,”.

“I will always wish you the best Sonya,” said Dimas.

Because we talked to each other along the way. We did not feel like we had reached the beach we used to go to.

“Ayoo game Son.. Let us miss that twilight,” said Dimas.

“Iya Yes Dim!” I said who rushed down from the motorbike.

“Look at that, The senjanya has started to appear.” said Dimas.

“Iya Dim's.. Beautiful,” said I was amazed.

“Come here come with me,” invite Dimas.

“Where?” my many.

“Ikut aja deh do not bring,” said Dimas.

“Ihhh fidget, yes yes.” sayskuu who is a little annoyed at Dimas.

Dimas pulled my hand up to the shore and he looked at me. My heart feels so shaky. This heart is beating so fast. For the first time I felt something like this. Dimas and I have been in a relationship for over 3 months. But this debaran still exists.

“Son.. I have something for you,” Dimas said with a look in my eyes.

“What is it?” my many.

“This,” said Dimas by giving a box wrapped in gift paper.

“This what is Dim?” ask me again at Dimas.

“Try on open,” says Dimas.

I slowly opened the wrapping. And the box left me so surprised!

“What do you mean you give this to me for what Dim?” I was surprised by the contents of the box.

“That ring I bought for you. I want you to wear it. As a sign that you are mine,” said Dimas.

“Iya but? Me and you..” said I was confused by Dimas's behavior.

“Listen Son.. I want us fiancee,” Dimas told me clearly.

“But Dim.. How did my parents bless us and your parents. While they want us to go to college first,” said I still do not believe what Dimas wants.

“Heyyy.. This engagement is not yet official,” said Dimas.

“You mean? I don't understand,” said I was wondering what Dimas wanted.

“This engagement is just me and you who know it. Witnessed by the twilight, the beach water, and the sand that is here,” said Dimas.

“Haa? You serious?” my words were astonished and really did not understand everything Dimas wanted.

“Seriously I want people to know that you're mine, and I don't want anyone else to take you away from me. You want to, right?” said Dimas.

“I want Dim,” replied I received the engagement.

When Dimas wanted to pair the ring at the same time it was raining.

“Dim rain, we find the shade first come,” take me to Dimas.

“No Son. Don't you like the rain?” ask Dimas.

“Iya! Paste you ..” my interrupted word.

“It's okay, I want rain to be a witness to our engagement.” Dimas said.

I smiled broadly at Dimas and the ring was ringing in my ring finger right now.

“I'm waiting for you 4 more years here son,” said Dimas.

“Iya Dim's.. I must have come,” answered me with a smile on Dimas.

“Although someday I do not hear, we will still meet here in the same month and the same date,” said Dimas.

“Means there is a chance you will disappear,”.

“That's just a word of Son's mark,” said Dimas.

"OK, we met in different years but the same date and month,”.

“I'm waiting for you to come back,” said Dimas.

“Not me, but we're Dim.” I said.

“We Sonya,” said Dimas who immediately hugged me.

Dimas' embrace was so tight, I probably wouldn't be able to part from him. I feel comfortable around him. However, I had to eliminate all these feelings for the sake of our two much better futures.

“Heyy you why are you crying?” ask Dimas.

“I just feel sad about this farewell,” I said.

“You can't shed a tear even if it's just one drop. I don't want to see you sad again yes,” said Dimas who tried to strengthen me.

“Iya Dim's.. I won't cry again for you,” I said.

“That parting is indeed Son's weight. However, we have a dream, something more important for us to pursue.” said Dimas.

“A.dai we have a longer Dim,”.

“There's Son, after this breakup there will be a longer time for us. I promise Son, I promise I will be faithful waiting for us to meet again.” said Dimas.

“Appointment?” ask me by giving you a little finger.

“Promise Sonyaku,” said Dimas who tied my little finger with his pinky.

That twilight became the last twilight we saw before we set out to step on our respective goals. The twilight was the most beautiful for me. Where Dimas and I promised each other to be faithful. That night was a witness to our engagement. Although this engagement is not yet official, this engagement is proof that we love each other and want to seriously live the relationship in the future.

“Tomorrow we both leave, at the same time but a different plane.” said Dimas.

“Iya Dim's.. We meet at the airport tomorrow morning well,”.

“It's late, let's go home.” bring Dimas to me.

“Ayoo,” answer.

We walked to the parking lot and took the bike. After that, we immediately pumped the gas. I got home at 21:00 Wib.

“Thank’s for today Dim,”.

“Sama-sama Sonya, I am happy to see you happy.” Dimas said.

“Thank you for being the most beautiful thing in my life,”.

“And thank you for being such an everlasting twilight in my heart,” Dimas said.

“Good night Dim,”.

“Night too and I Love You Son,” Dimas said.

“I Love You too Dim,” Reply.

The eternal twilight that had just come into my life..

The twilight always gives me a smile.

The twilight that always erases my sadness..

And the twilight that was always beside me to erase my loneliness.

That night was Dimas.

Dimas, a man who made me fall in love with his gentle and patient attitude. In waiting and trying to get my heart..

To Dimas I was his twilight! And to me Dimas is my weapon..

That was twilight for both of us;)
