Before we split up

Before we split up
Chapter - 25th

After leaving the city of Jogja, Samudra immediately busy himself by completing his pile of work, he wanted to momentarily set Ayunda aside in his mind, but it did not seem to work, Ayunda linger at home filling every recess of his mind.

Samudra plans to call Ayunda today, to make sure Ayunda is okay and formulate some agreement regarding their future.

That was his plan before there was an early-morning call from his personal assistant.

Now it's almost six and Samudra has spent half an hour on the phone. The news he received was not good, and the timing was not right.

“Listen, Daniel!! I broke up with Angelia three months ago.” And Samudra cursed herself, for not returning to contact Angelia after that last missed call.

Various articles have spread the news about her and Angelia throughout the country, this furore is becoming more and more because the Ocean remains silent. “Not more than what I told you. Angelia always overestimates the problem for the sake of existence in the world of infotainment.

Many times Angelia made Samudra as part of Angelia's Publicity plan, to make the Ocean sultry. The ocean rubs its hands on its stiff neck muscles, and closes its eyes. “OK, I'll call Angelia, and go see her."

The ocean hung up the phone, and let her head droop to the back of the chair.

Gestation.

Of all the bad things in the world, why should it be, and why Angelia is so proud to announce a pregnancy outside marriage, even though all women actually cover it up.

This may not be true, and it is unlikely that the baby is her child but it is possible. He needed answers and needed them now, regardless of what Angelia said.

Ocean set aside her feeding napkin “You're positive?”

Angelia laughs loosely, the entertainment world calls it a comforting smile, her eyes seem shiny. “Yes I'm pregnant"

Angelia leaned over, then cupped Ocean's face. The gesture looked gentle and intimate, but actually Angelia was already used to doing that. People used to call it 'Action stage'. And Angelia did not just do it with the Ocean, but to the whole man.

Samudra does not mind the various falsehoods that they have been showing to the public, because sometimes such 'setting' seasonings help to surf his business and increase his popularity. He got the press spotlight because there was an amazing woman by his side, an attractive couple with charming chatter, as if everything was perfect.

But it's all just a scenario, behind closed doors,

Ocean feels his relationship with Angelia is only a relationship of temporary and then separated distance. But when the relationship was not enough for Angelia, she began to want something much deeper than what Ocean could offer, so the Ocean broke off their relationship.

"Are you happy with your pregnancy?"

The smile that adorned Angelia's face at this moment had never been seen before. The smile was genuine, there were emotions that were too big to contain. Ocean's gaze descended upon Angelia's slightly bloated stomach, making her think of Ayunda and the pain deep within her chest.

"Yes, I really enjoyed it because soon I'm going to have a baby."

Samudra grabbed Angelia's hand from her cheek, and echoed it gently. "Sorry I have to go, we'll see you later."

The ocean moved from his seat, before leaving the restaurant he glanced cursively at the reporter who was secretly covering it.

'I must contact Ayunda, ' her inner self.

Although his mind was not clear yet, he had to hear Ayunda's voice, making sure that Ayunda was okay.

However, the phone call from the office precedes.

“We got a problem from a property project in Bekasi”, Daniel said without further ado.

Property in Bekasi. Various details emerged as Ocean focused his attention, he stepped inside his car. “What information do you have?”

Daniel delivered the latest points quickly, leaving questions to Samudra about whether the project he has been working on for the past six months can be updated. But his mind has revolved around finding solutions, reevaluating risks and profits and finding answers.

Calling Ayunda, he was put aside first.

The ocean was staring softly at Angelia's excited face, which at the same time was cupping the sturdy jaw of the Ocean with her palm. It was an intimate moment between two people secretly photographed by the press. Two people making plans for the future.

THE WEDDING PREPARATIONS OF A COUPLE OCEAN AND ANGELIA WHO ARE WAITING FOR THE BIRTH OF THEIR BABY

Ayunda closed her eyes, as if it could make her forget her article, or at least it could make it not so real.

This is not fair.

Three nights ago Samudra was still sleeping on his bed, hugging him wholeheartedly and saying that, he was still Ayunda's husband. Even Samudra gently stroked her stomach, right where there should have been a trace of their lost baby in Ayunda's body, and the next day the fetus had grown in Angelia's womb.

He had been destined for heartbreak since the first day he knew the Ocean.

While lifting the newspaper, Ayunda forced himself to face reality.

The ocean looks happy. The smile on his face was calm, content, and as if getting what he wanted.

A kid. Samudra Child.

Ayunda was so afraid to meet the Ocean, she was not ready to hear the news of Angelia's pregnancy directly from the mouth of the Ocean.

Their past memories revolved like a piece of film toward the present, toward another pregnancy, which was not in her womb.

Pregnancy has changed everything. First in the happiest way then in the most painful way. In a matter of days, Ayunda lost her parents because she did not accept her child to become pregnant out of wedlock. In a matter of months, he lost Galen, and then he lost the Ocean. Ayunda recalled in the early moments, pregnancy brings happiness in his life. The normally frozen Ocean's expression turned into a wide smile once knowing Ayunda was pregnant with her child, Samudra pulled Ayunda into her arms, carried her, and twisted her body while laughing.

Samudra said that he did not plan at all, but he always assumed that family was part of his life. Samudra saw Ayunda's pregnancy as a gift to be opened before Christmas, and without waiting for a long time, the same day Samudra asked Ayunda to marry him.

Now, Ayunda's eyes feel sore, his throat feels stiff to swallow emotions that are too big. The ocean would not have to wait any longer to get the reward that had so cruelly been snatched from it. A gift that Ayunda could never give.

While praying for the child to be born without problems, Ayunda clenched her hands and pressed them against her lips, trying to hold back the suffocating sound of despair.

His phone rang again, but not from the Ocean, but Nindyra.

Ayunda ignored her phone, hoping that it would be from the Ocean saying that their relationship was over, and the divorce and agreement they had been working on for a while would be settled in no time.

Yes, next week they will have their first hearing.

Angelia will be the wife of Samudra. Women who carry baby Ocean. And if the Ocean had been so protective of Ayunda, then he would have done the same to ......

Ayunda laughed weakly, her voice slipping through her fingers and echoing into the empty room where she slumped against the wall as she opened the newspaper, Angelia would live in their beach house that had been renovated by the Ocean.

That new one.

While Ayunda...well, Samudra always cared for him, but now Ayunda is no longer anyone ‘all has ended’.

Ends. The word moved uneasily in his mind, not wanting to be silent or embedded.

But rejection will not change the fact that they have stepped away from their former lives.

Despite the various intersections that exist along the path of their marriage, the ultimate goal is unquestionable. Ayunda should never have allowed herself to go so deep. He had been so foolish and careless to open his heart again, but the Ocean never gave a single word that this relationship would go nowhere but divorce.

How foolish Ayunda was, after years of trying to reach out from the dark abyss, when she was finally free, he dropped himself back into that narrow gap because he slipped into love with the man who had clearly said goodbye.

Ayunda had willingly given the softest part of her heart, and seeing what the consequences were, she gazed into the same darkness.
