Before we split up

Before we split up
Chapter - 18th

In the war against the temptation of his will, the Ocean lost the battle. Whereas Samudra must explain all assets and income it has. Although Ocean tried to refocus, his brain was unwilling to cooperate.

He was tempted by a thin sleeveless top, made of fine white silk that looks sweet and tempting, which is worn by Ayunda. Added with a matching scarf hanging loosely and low on his neck. Silly, a scarf with a sleeveless blouse is the most ridiculous thing in the world, and why it's so disturbing, the Ocean itself doesn't know.

Ayunda stretched out both arms above the head and linked his fingers in a way that could evoke a perverted shadow in the mind of the Ocean. Then, while standing from her seat, Ayunda brought an empty glass to the small bar. High waist-cut and white-robed pants hang on Ayunda's hips, and the Samudra palms itch to squeeze that seductive round bok*ng.

Ayunda had been at his residence for two days. This crazy passion should have faded. Damn, Samudra hopes that the taste should have faded the first time they made love or at least turned cold so that in the morning the concentration is not disturbed by the body of Ayunda that he can quickly get. Distracting Ayunda and positioning Ayunda's feet to circle her body, and Ayunda's adept mouth dipped her all over her body.

“We have to finish this immediately," said Ayunda. His elbow rested on the bar behind him, while refilling the glass in his hand. His attitude was relaxed, but his eyes were sharp and attentive. Ayunda knew exactly where the Ocean mind was headed.

“Your mind seems to be diverted.”

The tension slipped slowly over the shoulder of the Ocean, strangling its neck tightly. Her mind was never sidetracked by all her date friends. Samudra never neglects its business for the sake of spending time with them. He did not have to bother making them naked and hugging himself. He never gets distracted like this and this doesn't make sense.

But that's the truth.

But with Ayunda, his thoughts were eating, drinking, sleeping, and sleeping.

That thought made him ignore the turmoil of interest in Ayunda's eyes and try to focus on working on the file in his hand. “Next properties in Pondok Indah”

Ayunda scrunched his nose, but he was not flirting with the Ocean. Unless, perhaps, by moving his hips excessively while returning to the table, or maybe it was because the Ocean just saw him too close.

The ocean scratched the pencil in the file that was plastered in front of him, he twirled his pencil in one hand so that his hand would not reflexively pull Ayunda's body as the woman passed by and sat back in her chair with a frown, make the Ocean want to get rid of the files from the table and lay Ayunda on it. Smells every inch of her body, from her toes, until the sweet pouting face shouts her name with a sensual moan.

Forget groans. The ocean will make Ayunda scream.

But they had lost hours working on the files strewn on the floor during the first meeting to discuss assets.

Broken Ocean pencil.

“Samudra?”

Samudra's gaze shifted from Ayunda to the fragments in his hand then back again to Ayunda.

Ocean had to stop thinking about se*s, he felt worse than a teenage boy who was kasmaran. It was as if a switch had been flicked and made his brain think about the desire to make love 24/7. He became a slave of his own passion, but he was not a lonely man. It's mortifying.

But worse, it's not just about se*s. It's about everything. The way Ayunda talks, laughs, tells stories about the gallery and the struggle that Ayunda has put in to achieve all of this. The ocean never felt enough with Ayunda.

The intoxicating combination of the former Ayunda self and the now highly sedating Ayunda self makes it addictive.

And the Ocean doesn't want that.

That meant he should not give in to the push in his veins. He must come back to his senses and remember that, no matter how good it is, it does not last forever.

Samudra's jaw clenched and a pencil fracture almost stuck in his palm. He stood up and threw the pencil into the trash without looking.

“Properties in Pondok Indah?” repeat Ayunda, the tip of his fingers moving lazily near the basin under his neck. “Maybe you... yes.. forgot or how.”.

And now Ayunda is making fun of him. “Thank you. But, I didn't forget.”

Self-control, that's the key. Physically it is a difficult thing that the Ocean will do now. The ocean flips through the beam in the top pile, shrugs, and exhales vigorously. “Properties in a beautiful cottage.”

The sound of a pencil being tapped onto the table at a fast tempo drew the attention of the Ocean back to Ayunda, who locked it with a similar gaze. “Aware yet? Can you try to focus?” said Ayunda with a big smile. The smile that made the Ocean want to know how deep it could melt*tnya.

Then the Ocean leaned forward, with its elbows resting on the table. “So you want to play, huh?”

Ayunda raised an eyebrow, a challenge flashed in her eyes. Samudra smiled, staring right at Ayunda, a few seconds later he carried Ayunda's body into his room.

.

One week later, Samudra stepped out of the balcony of his room, and thrust his phone “Try you see this latest news.”

Ayunda stood up from her seat on the long sofa, then approached, and chuckled while reading the news. “Where did you get this news?”

“Crazy news site."

The ocean rummaged through the contents of the bag in search of her favorite potato chips and watched closely as Ayunda swiped her phone to read the article, the smile on Ayunda's face widened after a while.

Finally Ayunda shook her head and handed her the phone again, then smiled. “Funny. So that's how you convince everybody that you're so busy all the time? See this funny app constantly with its strange news.”

The ocean put chips in her mouth, chewed while talking, "On the job it's all a lie, here I'm just playing with you."

"To be more exact you're bothering me.”

“You don't need to feel so happy!” ayunda said as she searched for something to distract her and picked up the first thing she found in her bag. “I'm just a temporary interlude.”

The ocean leaned against the chair while observing Ayunda from across the table with a gentle smile on her lips.

These were dangerous times, when they were comfortable with the gusts of strong wind that filled the air as the conversation flowed smoothly as if they did not want to stop. When they feel so calm, without them noticing. Sneaking silently into Ayunda, continued with a physical touch.

The quiet groan of a moody love song resuscitated his mind, which was heard from the cell phone on his lap.

The Ocean's eyebrows dropped, his lazing demeanor turned into alert. “Sini, give it to me.”

Ayunda would hand the phone over from across the table, but then saw a contact photo showing the caller's face, and the fingers stopped. He knew those soft gray eyes and a smile that was almost too wide, like wanting to swallow up an entire country and perhaps the world. Angelia Barinda Gabriella's.

Samudra's ex-lover. The actress who has always been in a relationship with Samudra for the past two years. And the Ocean swore that their relationship was over. Not just a break-up. But now Angelia called and suddenly Ayunda's heart seemed to be in the throat, her stomach was wrapped around anxiously.

But, he deserves that.

While trying to look relaxed, Ayunda stretched out the small device. “This is for you,” he said foolishly.

Who else for? It's Samudra's phone. And the woman who contacted him was the Ocean's ex-lover.

The ocean took her phone speechlessly, then switched the call directly to a voicemail.

“You didn't answer it?” ayunda said softly and her words trembled.

“No." said Samudra, while staring at Ayunda for a moment. “I'll call back later.”

When exactly later? Will Samudra wait until Ayunda is in the bathroom? Or later at dinner time, Ocean quietly came out and Ayunda would just stare at the door leaf after her husband came out to call her lover?

A sense of heat burned his cheeks, and he almost choked as the thought flashed.

Samudra was no longer her husband.

The gaze of the Ocean petrified. “My relationship with Angelia is over. I've told you. So whatever you're thinking, stop it!”

Ayunda did not know what she was thinking, as if the direction of the wind had changed, bringing comfort away with her gusts, and blowing away the uncertainty that Ayunda did not want to feel.

Ayunda already knew all the stories about the other women who were close to her husband, both real and the setting. Since many years ago, the rumors did not bother him at all. But now Ayunda stared at the face of the Ocean, sturdy shoulders and strong arms of the Ocean. Ayunda also observed the Ocean's long fingers, its bright skin, and the black feathers in her hands. He imagined the hand sliding on his hip after they made love.

He began to look back at the Ocean and thought, “That man is mine!!”

The ocean was once his, long ago. But not anymore. Over the years they have separated, the Ocean belonging to the other women.

And Ayunda was jealous.

They get the body of the Ocean, the heart of the Ocean and the affection of the Ocean.

“Ayunda?”

Ayunda looked at the Ocean, somewhat stunned by the content of her thoughts. “You know, this may sound crazy, I think part of me feels comfortable with believing all that tabloid writing about you and your women.”

Ocean's forehead wrinkled and he leaned his body in front of the chair. “Why is that?”

“If you become a jerk who likes to play women and can't keep your pants zipper attached, it will be easier for me to convince myself that you're not mine anymore."

Ayunda must not restrain the Ocean as if the man were hers, realizing that this togetherness was only a moment until he would knock the hammer of their divorce.

The ocean looked at Ayunda's brown eyes. “I will never marry one of them.”

Ayunda had returned to Jogja and Samudra returned to his office to work, he overtime to replace the time he had spent when Ayunda came to Jakarta. It was nine o'clock, but Samudra still added a few more hours to work before he went to bed.

On the sidelines of the busy Ocean, rest for a while by finishing wheat bread while trying to contact Angelia.

Angelia did not reply, in fact it was not surprising. The woman was difficult to contact, even when they were dating. And usually the Ocean does not feel disturbed about it, but it is now disturbing it.

Because Angelia doesn't usually call herself.

This doesn't make any sense.

It was Angelia's manager who usually always contacted Samudra when there was news in the media that had to be dealt with. So why, when it's been out of touch for months and they're both relatively safe from the news coverage, does the woman call her now?

'Is Angelia going to ask to reverse?' inner Ocean.
