"I want a normal breakfast" the man said as he had dressed neatly and sat leaning on the bed. Anna frowned on "Normal breakfast?" the man nodded "Don't porridge anymore"
"What do you want to eat?"
"I'll eat whatever you cook, but don't porridge"
"You're still sick"
"But it's not as bad as it has to eat the porridge constantly, right?"
"Alright" Anna said at last. Anna rushed to the kitchen after tidying up her P3K gear. It was already time to make breakfast because Nina would soon wake up.
"You can eat it?" anna asked hesitantly when she saw the man slowly raising his hand and started eating the fried rice he made.
The man nodded as he chewed on her slowly "It's delicious". Anna smiled and turned her head outside the room when she heard Nina's voice calling her. "My son is awake. When you're done you can put the plates on the table, I'll take care of it"
The man nodded again before Anna walked away. The sun began to shine illuminating the room from the wide open window. From the front room came the sound of Nina chattering and laughing. The man occasionally smiled as he heard her, in the place where she came from was never heard the voice of a child.
Sometimes Anna's voice called out to Nina half-shouting, as if Nina was acting out.
The man placed his plate on a small table, and lowered his feet to the floor carefully. One by one he stepped on his legs while enduring the pain of a thigh wound until he finally reached the window. His eyes were looking sharp watching around Anna's residence, he only revealed a little thin white curtain on the bedroom window so it was not clearly visible from the outside.
For so long he watched that nothing was left of his eyes. His forehead was frowning deeply, why had they not chased after him? her existence here must have been a danger to Anna and Nina...
The man realized, the longer he stayed here then he would be easier to know his enemies and they are the kind of people who do not have pity, he said, most of them were mercenaries who used to be deserters.
The man's long breath was clearly heard when Anna entered. "I took the plate and the breakfast glass" Anna said and began to clean up the leftovers.
The man turned with a serious face "Please" Anna carrying the breakfast tray but on the doorstep he faced the man "You looking for something?"
Anna sighed. All right, he thought. The man may have a big problem that can't just be said. "If you're involved in something, I hope my daughter and I don't get carried away"
"I hope so too"
Anba's face turned tense "I hope? so you're in some kind of trouble and there's a good chance I'll get involved?!"
"I will try my best so that it doesn't happen" the man replied calmly.
"What can you do? You can't even walk"
"I can run if I have to, I'm not the one who doesn't know how to return the favor. I'll guarantee your safety and your daughter's, I promise"
For Anna to degenerate, even now she was already in trouble! The man walked over to Anna. She carefully placed her wide palm on Anna's tiny shoulder while her eyes stared fixedly at Anna.
"Don't be afraid, I won't let anyone hurt you"
Not her calm, Anna became increasingly anxious. "I hope you can recover soon" Anna said and stepped foot into the kitchen. Her eyes glared at Nina at a glance as she stepped into the kitchen If Nina got hurt then it was her fault, she was the one who brought the foreign man into her house.
Anna still daydreams when tidying up the clothes that Nina was wearing, she had to go to give private lessons again today. Anna had already cooked, so the foreign man would not starve as long as he was gone. Despite being stifled, the man had already walked so Anna was much calmer leaving him.
"Come on Nina" Anna said as she led her daughter after putting on her shoes. "Teaching again?" asked the man while walking slowly from the room. Anna looked at the man who was now standing before her. "Why don't you rest?"
The man smiled "It would be better if I practiced a lot" Anna shook her head "Your wounds can open if you can move and it will slow down your healing process"
"I know how far I can go" the man said and looked at Anna with a smile. "You can't wait to get rid of me right away"
Anna did not care how the stranger responded. Why should he take the risk and continue to accommodate her? anna's agitated breath was clearly heard when she opened the door. "Usahakan not to be seen by anyone" he said before closing the door
