Chapter 8
"I bought underwear for you." Anna's sentence stopped while her face began to blush again. "I don't know whether it's right or not..."
The man was flabbergasted, he simply did not expect Anna to do something like this for him. He only hoped to be helped. "You don't know me at all, why would you help me get like this?"
"I've never half-done anything, after all it's not a big thing. It's not a problem at all." Anna said with a shy smile. To be honest, she was embarrassed when buying men's underwear because she had never done it in her entire life.
"Thank you" said the man quietly as he received the plastic from Anna's hand, "I will definitely repay all your kindness" Anna grabs the man's arm and hooks him on his small shoulder while his other hand circles the man's waist.
"Come, I don't want to see you fall" the man's countenance showed gratitude as Anna helped him walk. To be honest, he had not been able to walk too far. Walking from room to living room alone almost spent all his energy.
Once in the bathroom, Anna removed her grip and took out a plastic chair so that the man could take a bath while sitting down. After seeing the man sitting down, Anna came out of the bathroom and continued mopping the floor.
From the doorstep of Nian's room, Anna could see that her daughter was still fast asleep with her stuffed rabbit. Six o'clock past ten minutes Anna finished mopping, and the stranger came out of the bathroom just as Anna was done tidying up her mopping utensils.
With a swift Anna helped the man walk into the room. The man breathed a sigh of relief after successfully sitting at the side of the bed. He was just wearing a towel wrapped around his waist so that the injuries on his body were clearly visible.
"Reduce your load" the man replied as he watched Anna who had started preparing gauze, antiseptic, and hypafix. Anna began to clean the wounds on the man's body with alcohol, secretly amazed at his endurance of enduring the pain. Imagine.he didn't grimace in the least. Even her facial expression did not change at all!
But when Anna cleaned the wound on her thigh, the man's hand clenched tightly until his knuckles paled. Sontak Anna raised her head. "Sorry, is it sick?"
"Forward" the man said without hesitation. "Had to have her wound like this in the sew. Nearby is a little clinic, you want to go there?" ask Anna while continuing her work. "No need, this is enough"
The man's wounds have been covered with gauze given antiseptic liquid, now just close them with hypafix. Anna's hand trembled as she tried to glue the hypafix together, and the man saw her.
"I'm fine" the man said as if he could feel Anna's fear. Anna gulped then held her breath until the hypafix was perfectly attached. They're so lucky Nina hasn't woken up. Because if the toddler had woken up, he would have made a riot the moment Anna bandaged the wound.
The man exhaled a sigh of relief when his entire wound had finished wrapped up. Anna helped the man get dressed, and the man looked not awkward as if he had gotten used to it.
