The Jewel in My Heart

The Jewel in My Heart
Chapter 6

"When she eats" said Anna, pulling the man's body so she could raise her pillow. Anna's forehead wrinkled, no longer feeling heavy. "You awake?" the man's moans were heard as he turned his head to face Anna.

After drinking a few mouthfuls of water, Anna began to feed her the porridge. The man's eyes opened wider than before but Anna still could not see clearly what color her eyes were. Within minutes the porridge was gone. "You must be very hungry, I'm sorry I left you so often, because that's what I do. If I don't work then my son can't eat"

The man raised his hand sideways while Anna stared in astonishment. "You want another drink?" ask Anna. The man nodded and Anna brought the glass closer to the man's lips. Both of the man's hands were raised trying to hold the glass and drink it until it was not left.

Anna tidied the utensils and washed them in the kitchen. Now Anna was a little relieved, at least the man was able to eat and move his body even a little.

Anna looked into her room at a glance as she walked into the living room where Nina was watching television. The man was trying to tilt his body, maybe he felt tired on his back. Secretly Anna was amazed, the man must be strong because he could endure such pain.

"Mandi yuk.." said Anna as she lifted Nina and carried her to the bathroom. Nina looks happy sitting in her bathtub. A warm bath with lots of soap bubbles is another thing Nina likes.

Anna put her pajamas on Nina who immediately ran to pick up the stuffed rabbit and lay back on the sofa. "Mama took a shower for a while" said Anna who was greeted with a nod Nina.

Usually Nina would be engrossed watching while playing while Anna bathed as fast as lightning. "Watch what?" asked Anna after finishing the bath then sat down beside Nina who was lying lazily on the sofa. It feels so fresh after a cold shower. "Miki" Nina replied as she moved her head into Anna's lap.

The cartoon show eventually changed with news broadcasts. Anna watched reluctantly. Not that he does not like the news, but lately, most of the news presented is news that is attacking, violent. Finally, the television channel was changed to a channel that specifically aired children's shows.

Again a cartoon, complains Anna in heart. But Nina looked happy, Anna finally came to watch as well. It's better to watch cartoons than to have to see people commit crimes.

I don't feel like time goes by until night comes. Nina rubbed her eyes a sign of sleepiness. Anna smiled and carried Nina to her room. Nina sits in her crib while Anna makes milk.

"Mimi's granddaughter" Nina said as she spread out her hands welcoming Anna who came with a bottle of milk. Nina immediately laid down her body and sucked her milk with vigor.

After Nina fell asleep, it was Anna's turn to relax while watching television. Anna massaged her nape while walking into the living room. After changing television channels several times, he finally decided to watch a documentary that was one of his favorite shows. Anna was lying on the sofa with the remote in her hands.

After the documentary was completed, Anna continued to watch a freelance film whose storyline was quite interesting. Time continued to propagate until the wall clock pointed to the number ten, Anna yawned once, so she should have slept with Nina.

BUGS!

The sound of a heavy object falling down shocked Anna, she immediately jumped up and ran to her room from where her voice came.

How shocked Anna was when she saw the man trying to get up from the floor. Anna approached and immediately helped her up to the bed. His eyes stared in astonishment, the man's forehead wrinkled deeply visibly enduring the pain raaaa. While Anna thought hard how the man could fall.

"You fell asleep and fell out of bed?" anna was not sure. "No" the man shook his head slowly as he turned his head to face Anna. Anna frowned "You didn't fall?" "I was thirsty and. "his sentence came to a halt and the man opened his eyes wide.

"I'm sorry I forgot to bring drinking water to the room" Anna said and rushed to the kitchen. A moment later Anna returned with a glass of water and a plastic bottle full of drinking water. "This" he said while bringing closer the glass he brought.

The man took the glass from Anna's hand and drank it without noticing Anna's face which still looked shocked. Anna did not expect that the man's power could recover so quickly.

"Thank you" the man's voice surprised Anna. "Y-yeah..." Anna stuttered and received the glass from the man's hand, her eyes constantly watching. The man had the darkest blue eyes Anna had ever seen.

"What's up?" asked the man when his self-consciousness was being noticed by the petite woman standing in front of him. Anna shook her head quickly "It's okay"

"You expect me to leave soon?" anna's face changed, to be honest she wanted the man to leave immediately but she was well aware that the man was still sick. "No, I. "Anna's voice choked "I don't mind you being here, you're still sick... "
