Arthur had been waiting for Anna for half an hour in the lobby of the Royal Palace yet the woman did not appear as well even though Arthur had twice sent servants to call her.
The stainless watch on his wrist was already showing at half-nine, if he did not hurry he would not be able to fulfill the promise of lunch with one of the ambassadors of the neighboring country.
Finally Arthur decided to pick Anna straight to his room.
Sure enough, Anna was still joking around with Nina while the two servants Arthur sent watched them anxiously. Arthur gestures for Laura to invite Nina to play outside the room.
"Let's go, baby, let's go bike again, will we?" invite Laura to Nina who was greeted enthusiastically by Nina. The boy immediately grabbed Laura's hand and pulled her quickly.
Anna's face turned flat when she saw Arthur standing upright near the door. He realized that Arthur was the one who got everyone in this room away.
And Anna also knew the purpose of Arthur's arrival to her room, she did not forget that this morning Arthur took her to Bold.
But Anna won't go anywhere today, and if Arthur forces her, Anna will make it harder!
"Can we go now?" ask Arthur carefully.
Anna stand. "I canceled my intention to go to the diamond mine. But thanks for the invitation."
"Aren't you eager to visit that place?"
"Yesterday, yeah. I lost interest today."
"You still mad at me?"
Anna wanted to answer 'yes', but if she did that would be tantamount to blaming herself as well.
No one forced her into the room just by wearing a towel.
"No" answered Anna.
"Lied," replied Arthur.
"Indeed," said Anna honestly, "go, I'll be here."
"What if I force you?"
Anna looked at Arthur with a face of disbelief. "You're gonna do it?"
Arthur shook his head. "I don't like to force you, but if I sincerely apologize, will you accept it?"
"That would make me feel so much better."
"I'm sorry" said Arthur.
Anna sighed. "Already, Arthur. You're not entirely wrong, half of it is my negligence. I'm sorry I threw you a pillow yesterday."
It's great! thought Arthur. This woman is not selfish.
"We're leaving now?" arthur asked as he glanced at the watch in his hand.
"I.." said Anna floating while her face showed a real sense of reluctance.
Arthur approached and whispered, "If I carry you on my shoulder, imagine what the entire Royal Palace will think? and I'm sure tomorrow we'll see the photos on the internet..."
"What!" Anna half shouted and immediately covered her mouth with her hands.
"You said you didn't like forcing me!"
"Somehow I suddenly feel like you're with me." Arthur smiled.
"So silly!" Anna exasperates but follows Arthur to the lobby of the Royal Palace.
"You won't regret it" Arthur said as the car drove away from the Royal Palace.
"If it's not interesting, watch out!" threaten Anna still with an annoyed face.
As the motorcade sped through the highway, Anna noticed how people were waving.
Arthur opened the windshield and smiled as he returned the wave of their hands.
Apparently Arthur loved his people very much, Anna thought. Anna glanced at Arthur, who had closed the windshield when they entered the highway.
Arthur has everything that every woman wants, but what kind of woman can captivate him?
Anna guessed, the woman must be from a respectable, educated, and certainly very beautiful circles. Well. such criteria are appropriate for Arthur.
"What are you thinking?"
Arthur's voice returned Anna to the real world, she shook her head slowly. "It doesn't matter."
"I want to know what you think, what you want, what you do..."
"Why?" cut Anna fast.
"The color you are with me now" replied Arthur, but his gaze turned outward.
She didn't know why either, she just wanted to know. That'sthat's all. I don't know why, but when Arthur was in London, he couldn't stop thinking about Anna.
What if Anna had a hard time while she was staying? what if someone hurt Anna while Arthur was away from her?
"That's a fact, not an excuse." Anna snorted.
"You don't want to tell me?" arthur asked in a deep voice. The man turned his body to face Anna.
"That's..." Anna starts to get nervous when she realizes Arthur is staring straight at her. "That's not important to you."
Arthur is silent and watches Anna's reaction and the woman's face change.
For a long time Arthur kept staring at the restless Anna. "Why are you afraid of me?"
"What do you want?" anna's voice sounded soft and Anna lowered her head.
"Don't be afraid of me."
Arthur doesn't understand why Anna is acting like this to him when she's always trying to convince Anna that she's safe here.
"You have to believe in me, I won't let anyone hurt you, including myself."
Anna pulls his arm when Arthur puts his hand on Anna's arm. "Don't" Anna said in a stifled voice.
Arthur chose to retreat, at least now he could already guess what Anna had actually experienced.
"Who did it?"
Anna's face now paled. "I don't understand what you mean."
"What made you become like this?" Arthur could not help but question that stormed out of his mind.
With growing uneasiness, Anna repeatedly folded her arms around her chest. "Don't ask me anything unnecessary."
"Need to." Arthur's voice sounded resolute, and he thought it would make Anna tell the truth in any way.
Anna turned her face to the line of cypresses on the side of the road. "Stop."
Arthur pulled Anna's hand and placed the woman's palm on her chest. He retains Anna's hand even though Anna is trying to pull him. "Look at me!"
Slowly Anna looked into Arthur's eyes, she felt so scared. Everything around him melted away, there was no sound and nothing was seen.
There is only Arthur.
Anna gulped her saliva with great difficulty and despite trying to speak, her tongue was still heavy.
Goddamn bum! maki Arthur was deep in heart when he saw Anna's trembling lips.
"If you're scared, run to me. If you feel sad, come to me. If you feel tired, tell me. No matter midnight or blind morning, I will definitely come as soon as I can. If anyone can take care of you, it's me. You have to believe me." Arthur's voice softened and softened every word.
Anna's eyes were teary and she had to hold it in order for the tears not to fall.
In her life, Anna had already learned a lot about the meaning of the word pity, and she had seen enough of it. "Stop it, please..."
With Arthur carefully placing Anna's hand back on the woman's lap, she could still feel Anna's hand shaking in her grasp.
If Anna doesn't want to say it, Arthur will find out for himself.
