Chapter 25


First Night


Maghrib will not be arriving soon. Grandma told the three of them to go into the house to rest and clean up the equipment they brought.


Fisya who did not pray was forced to accept the last turn to bathe.


While waiting for his two friends to clean up. Fisya also rushed to the kitchen to help grandmother prepare the iftar menu later.


Again he made the tea sound male from the outside. Grandma told Fisya to check on her.


“ Assalamu’alikum ” says a fairly aged man.


“ Iya wa’alaikumussalam Pak ” replied Fisya with his friendliness.


“ This is sak to open later ” while thrusting some parcels to Fisya.

“ Who Sya ” ask grandma when Fisya has returned to the kitchen.

Some of the food was neatly arranged on the dining table.


MassyaAllah today is very cheap their sustenance to break the fast with a menu that is abundant there is cake, tea, and of course ice as a supporter of thirst.


A few minutes later the azan maghrib echoed with his floor. They immediately canceled their fast by drinking water first.


Fisya who does not fast also feel happy because he can finally drink freely without hiding again hehehe…


Tonight they open only with their grandmother. While the men in their group break open in the mosque.


And it's not just Fisya's group who are separated between men and women. Unlike the other posts that join in one house.


After a few cookies they eat and enough to stifle hunger. Grandma, Fazel, and Leni also immediately ablaze and bring the faith to pray Maghrib in the Mosque.


While Fisya stayed home to clean some dirty equipment.


“ We go to the Mosque first yes Sya ” said grandma while wearing her sandals.


“ Yes nek be careful ya nek ” replied Fisya and went straight into the house back.


Some dirty equipment has been washed and put back in place of origin. All the work is done Fisya also took his gadget to call home.


“ Assalamu’alaikum mak? ” said Fisya with his pot.


“ Wa’alaikumussalam my son, where ni mbak? ” replied his mother from a phone call with her spirit.

“ Oh yes-yes how good there mbak ” his mother also asked the atmosphere where Fisya was.

The story starts from where he lives in the grandmother's house. Fisya said if grandma was very good with her and the others, they were already like her own granddaughter.

Soon Fazel, Grandma, and Leni returned home. The three instantly laid face to face and immediately joined Fisya on the sofa.


Fazel recounted some of the events at the mosque. Fazel said that there was a little introduction to the community.

“ Okay. Yaudah yuk we eat grandma already hungry that ” with a little hold back his laughter. Yes, because Fisya even uses the name of his grandmother to immediately eat.


He himself was busy holding his stomach.

After eating, the three of them cleaned up all the equipment. And there's only a few left of food still on the table.


Soon the time will come. Fisya told Fazel and Leni to get ready for the mosque with grandma.


“ Sure this is not coming? ” asks Leni to Fisya who is still waiting for their departure in the doorway.


“ Do not deh Len tomorrow night if Fisya already clean ” replied Fisya.


“ Okay deh Leni road yes Assalamua’alaikum ” Leni was alone and immediately rushed after Fazel and grandmother who was far in front of him.


Tonight Fazel and Leni haven't done a tadarus. Because they said Grandma told them both to go home to rest at home.


And Fisya who listened to this was happy because he was not alone at home.


Tonight was the first night they were in someone else's village. The three of them were busy telling their family members to grandma.


Yes grandma really likes to ask questions and tell stories no wonder if the three of them feel comfortable with grandma even though only one day met.


“ So you guys are in college one class right? ” ask grandma to the three of them.


“ No granny. Leni same Fazel aja one class, if Fisya he another class ” replied Leni trying to explain.

Their story was suddenly interrupted because grandma was saying goodbye to sleep first. Yes understand grandmothers should not sleep too long is not good for the health of the grandmother.


While Fazel, Leni and Fisya resume their chat about tomorrow's activities.

The first day they used to get acquainted with some of the surrounding residents. After that the three of them headed to the Mosque to clean it up and join the men in their group.


Fazel and Leni have the task of sweeping in and mopping while Fisya is tasked with cleaning the bathroom and wiping all the glass.


Everything is done they clean up the three of them plan to go back to grandma's house. But, their steps came to a halt as some child voices held them back from staying.
